Teen climate change activist Greta Thunberg has endorsed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. “I never engage in party politics. But the upcoming US elections is above and beyond all that,” Thunberg tweeted. “From a climate perspective it’s very far from enough and many of you of course supported other candidates. But, I mean…you know…damn! Just get organized and get everyone to vote #Biden”

If there was a continual reference to Jeb Bush and another candidate (by this candidate's supporters and/or so on), would you then be persuaded to feel that this GOP presidential election cycle is only between The Donald and Jeb Bush, or would you think that there are other good candidates available, as in Ted Cruz, Ben Carson, Carly Fiorina, Scott Walker or others? Must this be an either/or format? If so, is this a choice between what could be called a high-energy P.T. Barnum-like atmosphere and a low-energy campaign or are there other options available? Is it now a choice...

Cyber warfare has gone nuclear. So says Valerie Plame, the former covert CIA agent who spent her intelligence career working against the spread of weapons of mass destruction. Now she’s taking on a new task: helping government agencies and companies stem the relentless flood of hacker attacks. “There’s a huge impact on national security and intelligence,” says Plame, who this spring became an adviser to cybersecurity startup Global Data Sentinel. “The new normal is going to be more and more of these hacks, whether it’s Target or Home Depot or the Office of Personnel Management or Jennifer Lawrence’s nude photos.”...

You’re a mean one Mr. Grinch You really are a heel. You’re as cuddly as a cactus, And as charming as an eel, Mr. Grinch! You’re a bad banana, With a greasy black peel! You’re a monster, Mr. Grinch! Your heart’s an empty hole. Your brain is full of spiders. You’ve got garlic in your soul, Mr. Grinch! Well, that’s a pretty good beginning at describing how most conservatives feel about Newt Gingrich these days. More of that later. Of course, many of us felt this way before the 2012 GOP presidential primary began, and have been vindicated as Newt...

I’d like you to take a look at DrudgeReport. There is an all-out war on Newt Gingrich, not merely by the left-wing media, but particularly on the right side of the political divide. Drudge has run as many as nine negative articles about Gingrich simultaneously, but he is running few negative articles about Romney, and those he does run are only half-negative, so it’s becoming clear that Drudge is trying to manipulate the outcome in the direction of a result he prefers. I surely hope conservatives realize that nobody in media is pure, because everybody has biases. In the case...

On the heels of Newt Gingrich’s trouncing of Mitt Romney in the South Carolina primary, Republican Party brass are privately expressing deep concerns that former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich’s high unfavorable rating in national polls could prove catastrophic to the so-called “down ballot”–the House and Senate races under the presidential race–and may even threaten the Republican Party’s control of the House of Representatives...

In what appears to be a last ditch attempt to halt Newt Gingrich's late momentum in South Carolina, a fake CNN Breaking News alert was emailed to state Republican activists early Thursday morning claiming that the former House Speaker pressured his ex-wife to have an abortion.-SNIP-.The email alert was sent from fake account made to look like a CNN breaking news email address: "BreakingNews@mail.cnn.com." "A source close to Marianne Gingrich tells CNN that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich forced her to abort a pregnancy conceived during the affair that preceeded her marriage to Gingrich," the fake email reads.

On issues such as Social Security, taxes and environmental regulation, the Newt Gingrich of the 1980s and 1990s is proving to be a problem for the 2012 presidential hopeful, who promises to fundamentally transform Washington. From appearing in a television ad advocating global-warming awareness with then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to backing the 1986 amnesty for illegal immigrants to his early support for an individual mandate requiring Americans to purchase health insurance, Mr. Gingrich’s past is sprinkled with positions that cause some conservatives heartburn. Mr. Gingrich earlier this year waved off the Pelosi ad as “probably the single dumbest thing I’ve...

Here is video of Dennis Miller on "The O'Reilly Factor" talking about FOX News and taking a shot at Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck. Dennis Miller talking about FOX News said "FOX I believe, is in the right lane but you still got rubber on the road, Hannity's gone off-road, and Beck, he's way down the road." O'Reilly actually defended Hannity saying "I disagree with you...Hannity represents the Republican party, he's a Reagan Republican, so the Republicans are gonna watch Sean, and there's nothing wrong with having somebody on the air that represents the Republican Party, so he's not off...

Rudy continues to play coy about challenging Gov. Paterson. So what's keeping him from making up his mind? "NY is in pretty bad shape. If I thought I could make a real difference," he told a Crain's NY breakfast, "I would do it." Two terms as mayor and more than three decades in the public eye, and he still doesn't know whether he can make a difference? The election is 15 months away. But Giuliani other candidates biding their time waiting for Rudy to make up his mind would need every bit of that time to run an effective race........
