US: Georgia (News/Activism)

The liberal media and Republican party elites erupted today after Donald Trump announced his plan to ban Muslim immigrants from the US until the government can assure it is safe to do so. But Democrat Jimmy Carter did the same thing, and much more during the Iranian hostage crisis. During the Iranian hostage crisis, Carter issued a number of orders to put pressure on Iran. Among these, Iranians were banned from entering the United States unless they oppose the Shiite Islamist regime or had a medical emergency. During the Iranian hostage crisis, Carter issued a number of orders to put...

MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. — Officials say two male Afghan nationals being trained at an Air Force base in Georgia have gone missing. In a news release issued Tuesday night, base officials said the two students didn't report on Monday to "their regular maintenance training" with the 81st Fighter Squadron at Moody Air Force base, located near Valdosta, about 230 miles south of Atlanta. The release notes that the two men have been at Moody since February 2015 and "were screened prior to their arrival in the United States more than a year ago."

10 November 1979 â€Carter orders 50,000 Iranian students in US to report to immigration office with view to deporting those in violation of their visas. On 27 December 1979, US appeals court allows deportation of Iranian students found in violation. (CRS 1981, 38, 71)

For the record, this is what I tweeted out Sunday night after Obama’s pathetic address from the Oval Office: “time to close the border. No racial profiling. Nobody NOBODY can come in. What could be fairer?†So I’m not with Donald Trump on banning only
Muslims, never was. I want to turn off the immigration spigot the Constitutional way, the
doable way. (If you ask a terrorist flying in from Karachi if he’s a Muslim, what do you think he’s going to say?) It’s time to stop immigration, not just because of terrorism, but also to halt rampant lawbreaking and...

Fourth, the Secretary of Treasury [State] and the Attorney General will invalidate all visas issued to Iranian citizens for future entry into the United States, effective today. We will not reissue visas, nor will we issue new visas, except for compelling and proven humanitarian reasons or where the national interest of our own country requires. This directive will be interpreted very strictly.

LOWNDES CO., GA (WALB) - Two Afghan national flight team members, maintainers, or aircraft mechanics, who have been training to fly with the 81st Fighter Squadron at Moody Air Force Base, are missing. Multiple law enforcement agencies received an alert from Moody Officials. They referred all initial calls to the Air Force Press Desk at the Pentagon. Phone calls to that office have not yet been returned. Moody Air Force Base later issued a release by email: Two male Afghan air force students did not report for duty yesterday at their regular maintenance training at Moody AFB in Valdosta, Georgia....

Trump is a monster, a madman and a vile racist. He's just like Hitler. Or Jimmy Carter. During the Iranian hostage crisis, Carter issued a number of orders to put pressure on Iran. Among these, Iranians were banned from entering the United States unless they oppose the Shiite Islamist regime or had a medical emergency. Here's Jimmy "Hitler" Carter saying it back in 1980. Fourth, the Secretary of Treasury [State] and the Attorney General will invalidate all visas issued to Iranian citizens for future entry into the United States, effective today. We will not reissue visas, nor will we issue...

A group of black student protesters at Emory University in Atlanta issued a hysterical list of strident “demands†— their word — to the university administration, and demanded that they respond by December 4, or else. You know the drill: race radicals say “jump,†university administrators say “how high?†I have posted the students’ entire list of demands below, as well as the university’s full response. Both are extraordinary documents that deserve full reading. The students’ demands are mostly a wish list written by spoiled brats, and the university’s response is a capitulation to them. I want to focus on...

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is a New York writer focusing on radical Islam. Former Democratic President Woodrow Wilson may be purged from his alma mater, Princeton University. The old “Schoolmaster of Politicsâ€, as he was known for his academic background at Cornell, Bryn Mawr, Wesleyan and finally president of Princeton U, has been thrown under the bus by its current president for being a politically incorrect progressive. Also known as a plain old racist. Woody was indeed a racist. Though even on his worst day he was still about 40% less racist than...

Interesting I saw a live stream but did not see Herman Cain's introduction, which is included in this video. He fired 'em up. Monday, November 30, 2015: GOP Presidential candidate and front-runner Donald Trump held a massive campaign rally in Macon, GA at the The Macon Centreplex Coliseum and Convention Center. He spoke to a raucous crowd of thousands of supporters.

Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain lashed out at Jeb Bush in a blistering op-ed published Monday, saying he did better in his losing 2012 run than Bush has been able to do in 2016. "At least I was once winning," Cain wrote on his website. "Jeb Bush has been doing nothing but losing throughout this entire campaign. His problem is him." Last week, Bush reportedly pointed to Cain, a pizza magnate who led the GOP presidential field in October and November of 2011, as evidence that outsiders such as Donald Trump and Ben Carson will falter before the first...

Donald Trump will be sharing the stage with another businessman-turned-political-figure at his rally in Georgia on Monday night--former presidential candidate Herman Cain. Cain--a radio host who also was CEO of Godfather's Pizza--ran for the 2012 Republican nomination before dropping out of the race in December 2011 as allegations of past sexual misconduct escalated (he denies the allegations). Cain announced his plans to speak at the evening rally on his website caintv.com, and he used the post as an opportunity to rip into Jeb Bush after the former Florida governor implied that people now leading in the polls could ultimately "flame...

Names and flags have been removed from statehouses and street signs across the US, but at the stone-etched Georgia monument, no one is able to claim victory Exactly a century ago this holiday weekend, more than a dozen men climbed to the top of a mountain outside Atlanta, pulled on white hoods and lit a 16ft, kerosene-soaked wooden cross. It marked the rebirth of Ku Klux Klan, and Stone Mountain became the Klan’s spiritual home.

A retired truck driver flying through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) is warning American flyers their experience may not be secure, after he was able to pass a loaded handgun through a Transportation Security Administration checkpoint. Speaking to Britain’s Daily Mail, the flyer says while packing his gun was purely accidental, he feels the TSA should have caught it prior to departure. The incident happened on November 5, as 67-year-old Blake Alford was preparing to fly from ATL to Chicago Midway Airport (MDW). In his bag was a Ruger .38 pistol, loaded with a full magazine of seven hollow-point bullets....
