The Raiders received 31 of 32 votes to approve the move, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Twenty-four votes were needed. The Miami Dolphins were the only team to vote against the move, a source told Schefter.

HOUSTON (AP) — A lawsuit filed against Baylor University by 10 women alleging they were sexually assaulted while students can proceed, a federal judge ruled Tuesday. The women, identified as "Jane Doe" plaintiffs, allege Baylor was indifferent to or ignored claims of sexual assault and didn't enforce federal general discrimination protections. Perhaps the Oakland Raiders have figured out their new stadium situation after all. The plan for the Raiders to move to Las Vegas seemed to be in danger once casino mogul Sheldon Adelson walked back his $650 million pledge. But Vincent Bonsignore of the Los Angeles Daily News said that the Raiders informed the NFL that Bank of America will complete the financing for the stadium plan. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network confirmed that report.

The Browns are strongly considering drafting hometown boy Mitch Trubisky No. 1 overall, league sources tell cleveland.com. Trubisky, the Mentor, Ohio, native, checked off one of Hue Jackson's major boxes Thursday when he measured 6-foot-2 1/8 at the NFL Combine.

Just in time to go get his next NFL contract, Colin Kaepernick's national anthem protest is done. On Thursday morning, according to ESPN, Kaepernick, who spent all of last season kneeling during the national anthem in a polarizing and impactful protest of police brutality and minority oppression, is suddenly done kneeling. "Kaepernick no longer wants the past method of protest to detract from the positive change that he believes has been created, per sources," ESPN's Adam Schefter wrote.

Colin Kaepernick hired new agents, which was reported this week. The agents told teams Kaepernick would be opting out of his San Francisco 49ers contract to become a free agent, news that broke Wednesday. On Thursday, ESPN reported that Kaepernick would stand for the national anthem in 2017. All of these things are related, of course.

Remember the report from early February that said Washington was not letting GM Scot McCloughan speak with the media? Apparently that was only the tip of the iceberg. The Washington Post’s Mike Jones reported on Wednesday that McCloughan is not at the NFL Combine, which seems curious considering it is the biggest scouting event of the season. When asked about McCloughan’s absence, the team said it was due to family matters, while McCloughan said it was because of a death in the family.
