Cases of syphilis in Britain are at their highest since the Second World War, a report has revealed. Figures show there were more than 7,000 cases of syphilis in 2018, the worst figure since 1945 when almost 20,000 people were diagnosed. Overall, there were nearly half a million cases of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in 2018, a rise of five per cent from the previous year. That means one person is being diagnosed with an STI every 70 seconds.

She was standing on a rental car doing a little dance outside The Breakers when the state trooper rolled up. The 30-year-old opera singer from Connecticut jumped down and got into the black Jeep and ignored the Florida Highway Patrol officer’s motions to roll down her window. Minutes later, Secret Service agent and Palm Beach County deputies opened fire on Hannah Roemhild after she plowed through two security barricades near President Trump’s Mar-a-Largo estate. Authorities said Friday they had no reason to believe the chase through Palm Beach was an act of terrorism, but perhaps a case of impairment before...

Attleboro, MA – When an abortion patient hemorrhaged during an abortion at Four Women Health Services, an abortion facility in Attleboro, Massachusetts, on October 5, 2019, it wasn’t until she had lost two liters of blood that an ambulance was called. The human body holds a total of 5-6 liters of blood. A loss of two liters — over a half gallon — would cause the patient’s heart to race, her blood pressure to drop, and would result in her slipping of consciousness. Without elaborating, the caller sternly told the dispatcher, “This is an emergency. I need you to come...

The recording and a brief printout related to the 911 call was provided to Operation Rescue by the Pro-Life Action League. The Planned Parenthood worker noted that the patient began to hemorrhage during a “procedure” – Planned Parenthood’s nomenclature for a surgical abortion – and was unconscious. It takes a blood loss of about...

The St. Pauli church in the multicultural Swedish city of Malmö has unveiled a LGBT-themed altar painting featuring same-sex couples to celebrate advent. The painting, entitled Paradise, depicts two same-sex couples along with transgender individuals and is based on the 16th-century painting Adam and Eve by German master painter Lucas Cranach, Swedish newspaper Expressen reports. Artist and photographer Elisabeth Ohlson Wallin, the creator of the painting, initially attempted to donate it to Skara cathedral which refused it stating it was too overtly political. Sofia Tunebro, the head pastor of St. Pauli, welcomed the painting labelling it “pure joy” and added:...

In the days before you could order both groceries and magazine subscriptions online, it was damn near impossible to walk through a supermarket checkout line without seeing the term “bikini body” plastered on glossies at the newsstand. By today’s standards, strapping two pieces of material onto any body fits the bill, but a decade ago, the term was still reserved for only those with six-pack abs and not an inch of perceived bodily "imperfection" in sight. The definition was so narrow, the ideal so unattainable, that when actress and runway model Kate Upton appeared in a bikini on her first...

More than 350 lawyers and legal professionals who had abortions filed an amicus brief with the Supreme Court Monday as part of the latest landmark abortion case. "My hope is that my classmate on the Supreme Court will not want to demonize me," Claudia Hammerman, a partner at the prestigious law firm Paul, Weiss, told ABC News. Hammerman is also the lead signer of the brief and a Harvard Law School alumnae. "I was smart and I deserved my career and I deserved to be able to give it my all and to become a mother when I was fully,...

There are 200 women behind the 2.4-metre-high barbed-wire fences at the Grand Valley Institute. Most are the products of shattered and abusive homes, violent relationships, drugs and bad choices. Unloved and looking for redemption. Heather Mason was one of them. She knows the fear curdling inside the Kitchener-area jail and others sprinkled across the country. Stoking that fear has been the arrival of transgender cons with appalling histories of violent sex assaults — and murder. A dozen more are allegedly slated to arrive at Grand Valley. “It’s bizarre, among their conditions are to not be around women and children. Where...

The American Civil Liberties Union celebrated International Men’s Day by proclaiming its support for “men who get their periods” and men “who get pregnant and give birth.” The iconic civil-liberties organization used the awareness event, which takes place annually on Nov. 19, to wade into transgender issues and the redefinition of what a “man” is. “Men who get their periods are men,” ACLU’s official Twitter account told over 1.7 million followers Tuesday. “Men who get pregnant and give birth are men. Trans and non-binary men belong. #InternationalMensDay”

It turns out network television isn’t done lecturing us on abortion yet. We’ve had series after series come at us with pro-abortion stories, but NBC’s The Blacklist may have brought us the strangest case of them all. Let’s just say if this is where the propaganda is headed, liberals should stick to copying The Handmaid’s Tale. The November 15 episode “Hannah Hayes” concerns the strange case of a kidnapped governor reappearing on the day of a new election. The governor, however, isn’t sharing any details of his abduction, forcing the FBI to investigate the crime on their own. The agents...

Images of a London billboard that appear to urge white Britons to get sterilized have started to circulate throughout social media. Interestingly enough, the billboard lacks the ‘diversity standard’ that’s normally applied to every form of marketing or propaganda that can be seen in the UK, and especially in London, where, according to the last census, ‘white English’ composed just 41 percent of the population. Apparently, for whoever is behind this billboard, that number of white Brits is simply not low enough. The message, which has been spotted on North London’s Holloway Road, reads: “Imagine a city less crowded… do...

Come on boys, vogue! The youngest generation’s greater willingness to embrace nontraditional gender norms has opened up a new market within the beauty industry: men’s makeup. One-third of young men said they would consider wearing makeup, according to Morning Consult polling, while 23 percent of all men said the same. Founders of men’s cosmetic brands credit the increased interest among young men not only to a wider acceptance of the idea that gender is fluid but also to the pressure to be picture perfect at any moment, thanks to social media. “The stigma associated with buying and purchasing this product...

Procter & Gamble’s Always feminine hygiene brand announced it is removing feminine symbols from its packaging in the name of inclusivity. “For over 35 years Always has championed girls and women, and we will continue to do so,” the company said in a statement to The Independent. “We’re also committed to diversity and inclusion, and after hearing from many people across genders and age groups, we realized that not everyone who has a period and needs to use a pad identifies as female.” The decision comes after transgender activists criticized the company for including the feminine Venus symbol on its...

Oversight committee underboss, a Pelosi favorite, lays bare Democrat buffoonery. Her right pectoral region is pixilated but as the photo makes clear, this is no wardrobe malfunction. Rep. Katie Hill, 32, sits naked in a comfy chair bushing the hair of a fully clothed woman, whose face is also pixilated. She plays with her phone as the California Democrat, Vice Chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, brushes out at a snarl, and the photo’s back story is indeed tangled. Red State released the photo, and others, with an expose by Jennifer Van Laar explaining, “Rep. Hill was...

Modern Family has always dismissed the critical role of a mother with its gay male couple raising a daughter. It has also inserted feminist talking points in the past. In this week’s episode, “Pool Party,” on October 15, the show highlighted two incoherent premises of the feminist left: Corporations are “corrupt and mercenary,” but women should leave their babies to work for them or they will “resent [their] children.” The episode begins with mother Claire (Julie Dunphy) lunching at a restaurant with her grown daughters, Haley (Sarah Hyland) and Alex (Ariel Winter). Claire is trying to convince Haley to return...
