A federal judge Tuesday sentenced Ernest G. Green to 90 days of home detention and two years probation on a tax charge in the investigation of fund-raising practices in Bill Clinton's 1996 presidential campaign. Green pleaded guilty Dec. 21 before U.S. District Judge Reggie Walton to failing to declare and pay taxes on $30,000 from Charlie Trie, a central figure in the fund-raising investigation of the 1996 campaign.
