A financial analyst who correctly forecasted the election of President Donald Trump now believes far-right candidate Marine Le Pen will emerge victorious in France. "Le Pen's momentum is a slow-moving reaction against the men of Davos -- as we have seen with Brexit and Trump -- but markets don’t want to believe it," Charles Gave told Bloomberg News. Gave, founder of Hong-Kong based GaveKal Research, cautioned investors that the financial markets are underestimating the likelihood of Le Pen winning. France will hold its first round of elections on Sunday, followed by a runoff between the top two vote-getters on May...

TEL AVIV – U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said on Friday North Korea’s recent statements were provocative but had proven to be hollow in the past and should not be trusted. “As far as North Korea’s latest words (are concerned), I think we’ve all come to hear their words repeatedly, their word has not proven honest,” Mattis told a news conference in Tel Aviv. On Thursday the official newspaper of North Korea’s ruling Workers’ Party, Rodong Sinmun, threatened the United States with a “super-mighty preemptive strike” that it said would wipe out “not only the U.S. imperialists’ invasion forces in...

What to make of the results of the first two of this spring’s special House elections? Start off by putting them in perspective. They pose a challenge to both political parties, but especially to Republicans, who have been used to an unusually stable partisan alignment, an alignment that has become scrambled by Donald Trump. Those of us who can remember the 1964–84 years have seen much greater partisan churning. Almost half of the congressional districts that voted for Richard Nixon in 1972 elected Democratic congressmen. Some 191 districts split tickets. In 2012, that number was down to 26, the...

The two phase French election system dooms Marine Le Pen, just like it doomed her father, Jean-Marie Le Pen in 2002. Their are five main parties contending, the top four are getting roughly 19-23% each, and only the top two finishers will go to the second round runoff. * Leading at 23.8% the so called “Centrist”, Marcon, who was the protege of the current President, Hollande, who is a Socialist. For various reasons Marcon is running as an independent, but in France “Centrist” means “Socialist”, and that’s not Obama style Socialism, that’s “let’s nationalize the 100 biggest companies in France”...

Thanks to a hoax pulled on the Huffington Post. For a distillation of the contemporary left’s worldview, one needn’t look any further than a blog post that was recently published at the Huffington Post: “Could it Be Time to Deny White Men the Franchise?” At least one could have turned to this post—until HuffPo took it down. But we’ll get to that shortly. The author, a person going by the name of “Shelley Garland,” a self-declared South African and graduate student in philosophy, argued that it is morally necessary to temporarily deny the franchise to white men. Moreover, at least...

The example today of President Obama stepping in to influence the French election stands as a direct highlight upon the hypocrisy of left-wing progressives (Marxists). Against a predictable strategy, French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron is promoting a phone call today from former President Obama (Audio Embed Below). Under ObamaÂ’s leadership the U.S. State Department has a long history of working to influence elections in France. Additionally, as we shared from research into the Ambassador Rivkin Project the left-wing U.S. globalists have considered France to be the fulcrum for their global intentions toward the larger EU. â—¾Facebook Blocks Le Pen Supporters...

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Secretary of State Mac Warner is working with all 55 county clerks to clean up voter rolls in the Mountain State. The office has removed 47,490 names off the lists since Warner took office in mid-January. “There are a lot of people who have moved, changed names, gotten married, deceased — there are a number of reasons why these files have extra names on there,” Warner explained on Tuesday’s MetroNews “Talkline.” Of the total removed names, 1,170 were convicted felons who lost their right to vote upon conviction. West Virginia had at least three counties that had...

The time-frame was 2011 – the Tea Party had just crushed a republican Utah senator named Bob Bennett a year earlier. Massive push-back against growth of government including TARP, Auto Bailouts and now ObamaCare was fueling the grassroots movement; the Professional Republican Party hierarchy, the GOPe, was furious; the Tea Party represented a risk to the establishment republican authority. GOPe corrupt Senate leadership (McConnell, Portman, Cornyn, Corker, Blunt, Burr, Crapo et al) were assembling all resources to kill the Tea Party uprising. They reached out to like-minded colleague John Boehner, Speaker of the House for support. Hatch must be protected...

I don’t want to sound like the Baghdad Bob of the 2018 election cycle, but the special election in Georgia’s 6th congressional district was yet another reminder that despite the mainstream media’s relentless narrative attempting to turn the early days of the Trump administration into a story of GOP rout, reality has stubbornly refused to cooperate with them. Don’t get me wrong—the GOP is absolutely facing headwinds in 2018. And there’s a lot of political ground left to cover in November. I’d certainly rather be in a position of winning districts by increasing margins rather than decreasing ones. Could the...

“It has come to our attention that when offering voter registration opportunities to customers, DMV’s employees offer voter registration materials to DMV customers whom they know to be non-citizens based upon their presentation of a Green Card for identification purposes,” Cegavske wrote. “More specifically, it is our understanding that some DMV employees have been instructed to accept registration materials from all customers, including those who present a Green Card for identification purposes…This practice must cease immediately.

President Trump on Saturday reportedly took a longer route than usual on his way back to his Mar-a-Lago resort in what reporters said appeared to be an attempt to avoid large crowds of Tax March protesters. According to pool reports, Trump's motorcade made a long loop to get back to Mar-a-Lago after leaving Trump International Golf Club around 1:30 p.m. Meanwhile, reporters traveling separately in press vans that continued on the shorter route back to the luxury resort immediately encountered "hundreds of protesters" demanding the president release his tax returns. One White House reporter tweeted a video of the route...

To say we consider Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross a man with a unique skill-set for this defined moment in U.S. economic history would be an understatement of epic proportions. Ross is one of the most consequential and dynamic forces within the President Trump administration. Our message is simple – the games are over, and improper treatment of the United States will no longer be tolerated. We will approach future negotiations and actions with a clarity of purpose guiding us as we work to establish both free and fair trade. Unfortunately, NAFTA negotiations cannot begin until Congress accepts our 90-day notification...

The special congressional election in Kansas’s fourth congressional district, was, despite the media hype, much ado about — well, maybe not nothing, but very little. The GOP candidate won by 7 percent, a margin that was certainly lower than Trump’s overwhelming victory in the district, but slightly better than Kansas governor Sam Brownback did in the same district in 2014. Given the numerous variables affecting the election (a low-turnout special election, a hugely unpopular governor, a greater-than-average Democratic effort, an un-Trumpian GOP candidate picked at an insiders’ convention rather than in a primary), it is hard to paint that...

Atlanta-area residents, YOU ARE UNDER SERIOUS THREAT OF LOSING YOUR SEAT TO A DEMOCRAT if you don't GET OUT AND VOTE! The Cook Political Report has moved the race for Tom Price's old seat from Leans Republican to Toss-Up, (see link last paragraph). This following a huge influx of spending by a group that styles itself "Make Trump Furious", and is comprised mostly of out-of-state donors including Hollywood activists. ARE YOU SERIOUSLY GOING TO LET HOLLYWOOD LIBERALS ELECT YOUR REPRESENTATIVE?
