For Constitution Day this year at Sacramento City College Associated Student Government (ASG) President and student Steve Macias arranged for a group named Genocide Awareness Project, an anti-abortion group, to participate on campus in the Constitution Day activities. The group was approved for participation by the ASG and set up its booth at the appointed time. And then the world came to an end. Pro-Infanticide groups such as Planned Parenthood set up their own, countering booths the next day and left-wing hatemongers in the student body immediately began to circulate a recall petition to have Mr. Macias removed from the...

War Crimes in Gaza or UN Crimes Against Israel? Brandeis University, Thurs., Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. Watch the Debate live at http://www.brandeis.edu/israelcenter/ In what is sure to be a heated debate, South African Judge Richard Goldstone will discuss his report for the first time with a senior Israeli figure. Dore Gold, former Israeli ambassador to the United Nations and president of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, will respond to Goldstone in the forum and then both will take questions from the audience. Professor Ilan Troen, who heads the Schusterman Center for Israel Studies at Brandeis University, said in...

When I learn of yet another disappearance and write my thoughts, I am mindful of how sensitive the issue is, and how many don't need to hear anything about blame. But blame is essential to accountability, and seeing that there is a problem is halfway to solving it. Why not discover where the problem is and get to solving it? How about doing more of what needs to be done to avoid future abductions? Too many violence prevention programs like to go over everything but that. Students keep disappearing on college campuses. What more can be done? Well, some more...

The very symbol of the freedoms we enjoy in America is represented by the Statue of Liberty. However, after 123 years, one gets the impression that her birthday aint much to celebrate! Its 3am in the morning the red phone is ringing in the White House. The President of the United States (The Commander-in-Chief) has convened a group of advisors to advise him how to best answer the call. One wouldn’t what to pick up the call to suddenly as one might be expected to come to a decision so Mr. Soetoro is going to take some time maybe weeks or months to think about how best to answer the phone while he plays a few rounds of golf in the interim. For those of you who warned us that president Barry...

Well Muhajir, if your account of the class is accurate, they are only teaching the truth. UNM's Islam classes teach non-Muslims fear, hatred Editor, As a Religious Studies major who happens to be Muslim, I recently signed up for classes related to my religion of choice: Islam. I thought that taking these classes would increase my knowledge of the religion and give me a much-needed break from the lies and propaganda that I see on the news. Man, was I wrong.

In 1994, while Barack Obama's memoir Dreams From My Father was being polished off, Bill Ayers co-authored an essay whose title befits a former merchant seaman: "Navigating a restless sea: The continuing struggle to achieve a decent education for African American youngsters in Chicago." In "Navigating," Ayers and his nominal co-author, former New Communist Movement leader Michael Klonsky, offer a detailed analysis of the Chicago school system and a discussion of potential reforms. Curiously, so too does Obama in Dreams. What makes Obama's educational digression notable is that he had spent only two months working on education issues as a...

y name is Dr. David Tzengen, I work in pediatric endocrinology and diabetes at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. More than half of my patients are Palestinians from Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza. I speak Arabic, and I established the first training program for Palestinian doctors in the field of pediatric endocrinology. The doctors whom we train are highly valued, and they are included as authors in studies that we have published in leading journals.

On the face, this kid has it.If he has no issues, this kid can win easily. As for comments I made on the race being the testing ground for conservatives?I still hold to the belief below on the Flordia Republican senate primary race being the testing ground for conservatives, but the New York race with Hoffman has added some interest in that it could become the catalyst in the conservative movement. You have to hand it to the bigwigs within the Republican party. They know how to run a duplicitous campaign on smaller government. It should be obvious now, that...

The work of the Medill Innocence Project has already led to the exoneration of 11 inmates in Illinois. In 2000 Governor George Ryan cited the Medill Innocence Project of Northwestern University as one of the reasons he suspended the death penalty in the Land of Lincoln. It has yet to be fully reinstated. The Medill Innocence Project has recently set its sites on the case of Anthony McKinney, convicted of murdering a security officer in 1978. The students of the Project feel that they have successfully proved that McKinney was wrongly convicted and have also succeeded in getting a judge...

Medical Research Assistance by Mrs. Bulldog Dedicated to: Our Little Princess—May she live a long and fertile life “Never let a serious crisis go to waste. What I mean by that is it’s an opportunity to do things you couldn’t do before.” – Rahm Emanuel, White House Chief of Staff. Campus Progress vs. Campus Reform Bethany Stotts, October 27, 2009 In a recent Campus Progress article “Smashing ‘Left-Wing Scum’ on Campus,” author Erin Rosa attempts to characterize the Leadership Institute as conservative bullies on campus. The problem is that she doesn’t have much of a case in the first place. Rosa derives the title of her article from a profile posting by Texas A&M graduate Toni Listi that he is “active on CampusReform to ‘smash left-wing scum.’” “I don’t know about that comment,” Rosa quotes Bryan Bernys, CampusReform National Director. “I don’t know where that is on the site or...

Are you unwittingly offending people in your office? Do you say things that cause others to wince or lose interest in having a collaborative relationship with you? You may be in need of good diversity training. DiversityInc put together a list of signs to show where you might be making cultural missteps. 1. Race/Ethnicity How do you interact with people from different races and ethnicities in the office? Have you ever found yourself complimenting a Black person on her ability to articulate well? Did you tell a Latino coworker that you were surprised he didn't have an accent? Do you...

If Barack Obama would release his Columbia thesis, this latest media pseudo-controversy would never have happened. But now the tittering hyenas on the left are howling at the moon over the satire of Obama's thesis that was taken for the real thing by Rush Limbaugh, Michael Ledeen at Pajamas Media, as well as by Denis Keohane at The American Thinker. The fake thesis has Obama criticizing the Constitution, saying that "the so-called Founders did not allow for economic freedom. While political freedom is supposedly a cornerstone of the document, the distribution of wealth is not even mentioned. While many believed...

Freepers: I occasionally work as an adjunct (I'm retired) for a local college. This college has just initiated a policy where they require their students to work for 75 hours for a third-party for free. That is, they require that a student give 75 hours of work to a non-profit, a charity, and so forth. The college will provide the list of organizations from which a student can choose. This strikes me as being pretty shaky legally and ethically. We seem to be providing a pool of unpaid labor for groups in our community--regardless of whether they want to work...

It's too wet to get on the tractor. Texas is getting lots of rain. So I took a nap and had a dream. It was a Monday in January and I was in Washington listening to the new President's Inaugural Address. I was too far away to see the new President clearly and it wasn't clear which party now controlled the White House. I was close to a loudspeaker. Here's what I heard.

Redefining Sex Ed Sarah Carlsruh, October 26, 2000 For parents worried about how to tell their kids about sex, good news: now you don’t have to. The public school system will do it for you. The Preserve Innocence Project’s September Innocence Report analyzes “government activity that threatens childhood innocence,” focusing on sexuality education. The report addresses sexuality education guidelines suggested by both the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS), saying that implementation of these guidelines “would relegate children to a mass, cookie-cutter education on the most...

Since June, I have been doing what I can to bring information and analysis to the conservative political world. Six months and 25,000 views later, I’m still committed to informing and, on occasion, entertaining those who desire the truth. Thanks to all of you that have supported this blog site and made it worthwhile to put effort into it. I realize that 25,000 may not seem like much to those who have accomplished far more, but, given that I suspected that no one would be interested in reading my opinions, it seems like a lot to me!

Our country has reached a pivot point in its national existence, and the American people must now decide whether this country will be victorious or join the long line of historically vanquished nations.

At this time, three months ago, I was wrestling with a decision. A decision as to whether or not to run in a special election to fill the seat vacated by the new secretary of the Army, John McHugh. If you had told me 90 days later I would be penning an op-ed piece for the New York Post, I would have laughed in disbelief. I would have laughed even louder had you told me that I would be receiving endorsement and support from political leaders like Fred Thompson, former Majority Leader Dick Armey, or Sarah Palin. Or appearing on...

Bill Cosby has a great way of distilling things. Looks like he's done it again! I HAVE DECIDED TO BECOME A WRITE-IN CANDIDATE. HERE IS MY PLATFORM: (1) 'Press 1 for English' is immediately banned. NO imports, no exports. We will use the Wal-Mart policy, 'If we ain't got it, you don't need it.' (3) When imports are allowed, there will be a 100% import tax on it....

Perhaps critical events of the third century may offer a few answers. Secular historical data, backed by biblical writings suggests that up to this point every religious institution honored the Seventh Day Sabbath – except Roman and Hellenistic Pagans. During the mid to latter part of the third century the Christian movement was spreading rapidly across the Roman Empire and Christians began to out number Pagans forcing certain pagan rituals, temples, and synagogues to become obsolete putting them in jeopardy of being destroyed. It was at this critical juncture that The Roman Emperor Constantine The Great, converted from Paganism to...

Last Friday, I posted "Update to Public School Library Propagates Falsehood that Governor Palin Banned Books." I went step by step and day by day through my battle to correct the record and emphatically declare that Sarah Palin never, ever banned any books. At that point, I was turning it over to the public who had voiced a desire to step in and hold the school accountable. No longer was I going to stand between anyone and their efforts to see this wrong corrected, which I had done while I attempted to right this wrong. I am not sure who,...

ACORN Scandals Grow & Grow Malcolm A. United Negro College Fund President Michael Lomax speaks on the 65-year-old organization’s new multicultural mission, how he feels about a non-black Miss Hampton and how they’ve been spending the $1.6 billion gift from Bill and Melinda Gates. Sixty-five years after a group of historically black colleges came together to form the United Negro College Fund, a mind is still a terrible thing to waste. The UNCF is continuing its mission of raising money to support its 39 member HBCUs as they fight to stay afloat amid the economic downturn. However, flush with a $1.6 billion philanthropic gift from the Bill...

Why does President Barack Obama’s White House continue to be mired in distraction? Since the president took office there has been Gates Gate; the international snub in Copenhagen, Denmark, after the president flew there overnight to make a bid for Chicago to host the 2016 Summer Olympics; the call for New York Gov. David Patterson not to seek election to a full term; and now the puerile decision to attack Fox News.

Globe Cools to Warming Allie Winegar Duzett, October 22, 2009 Ever since it came out in 2006, Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth has been something of a cult classic. Despite its numerous scientific mistakes and exaggerations, the movie has risen to must-see status, even being required viewing in many public schools. Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney teamed up earlier this year to create a rebuttal film, Not Evil, Just Wrong to discuss the scientific inaccuracies and the hidden agendas of Al Gore’s smash hit. Not Evil, Just Wrong points out some of the grossest scientific problems with An Inconvenient Truth;...

Diverse also placed Walden in 4th place for its number of “total minority” Masters degree graduates in Education. But what, exactly, is Walden teaching the nation’s future minority teachers? Walden faculty members featured at the University’s 2009 Social Change Conference offered a clue. In...

Perhaps the reason I don't want Kevin Jennings masquerading as a safe school czar is because I'm a BHOmophobe. Aside from the fact that I don't think we need another large government paycheck going to an un-vetted, over-authorized czar, to be honest, I wouldn't want any person whose main rise to notoriety has been centered around sexual practices of any kind acting as a safe school czar. But honestly, that would make me a racist and a homophobe I guess, eh? A 2-for-1 enemy of the state.

Parents, Obey Your Children? Posted: Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 3:18 am ET Subscribe Literary critic Lionel Trilling once referred to "the dark and bloody crossroads where literature and politics meet." In reality, almost all literature is political in some sense. Oddly enough, the most explicitly subversive literature is often presented to the very youngest among us -- our children. Far too many parents seem not to notice. In "The Defiant Ones," a recent essay published in the New Yorker, Daniel Zalewski argues that picture books for children now reflect a world turned upside down in terms of the relationship...

A Charter for Achievement Allie Winegar Duzett, October 20, 2009 While bureaucrats everywhere puzzle over how to make public school test scores look good, one charter school principal has figured out how to make them go up without score keeping gimmicks. Ben Chavis is a unique man with an uncommon background: he grew up as a sharecropper on a Native American reservation in North Carolina, and today he leads and operates an impressive charter school—for fun. Every year, Chavis donates his salary back to the school, and uses the money to take the oldest class of children to visit Washington,...

9/11-101 Sarah Carlsruh, October 20, 2009 September 11th, 2001 is now a part of U.S. history, and so the issue of how to teach about it in high school history classes is necessary, albeit controversial. UPCOMING EVENTS Note from Daniel Zanoza, RFFM.org's Executive Director: Below you will find information about an Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH) banquet to be held Saturday, October 24th. The event is a fundraiser for AFTAH and I can think of no better way to spend a Saturday night. All God-fearing Americans are aware of the assault on our culture which emanates from a small, but powerful group of homosexual radical activists. With the assistance of the liberal mainstream media, this movement has led to a well-coordinated attack on pro-family values. Parents instill in their children a set of values...

Clearly, there was momentum for the GOP this summer that has slowed or reversed in autumn. The party used that momentum to get top candidates into key Senate and House races, which will reap benefits if voters are angry at the Democrats a year from now.
