Law enforcement officials are investigating whether Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock had been planning an earlier attack in the city, a law enforcement source confirmed to CBS News. According to a law enforcement source, investigators are looking at whether he may have first had his sights on the "Life is Beautiful" festival on Sept. 22 to Sept. 24. The source, who was briefed on the police investigation, said Paddock had apparently tried to get a room at The Ogden and another hotel in downtown Las Vegas, but apparently the specific suites he requested were booked. The source speculated that Paddock...

Kidega, the Sudanese immigrant who opened fire in a Tennessee Church had a social media profile (as reported by Heavy) that is chock full of everything you expect. Kidega's likes included black nationalist Muslim racists like Farrakhan and Malcolm X. There is the black nationalism and the accusations of racism. Especially when directed at the police.

A man charged with blowing up a van packed with gas cylinders outside the Canberra headquarters of the Australia Christian Lobby has committed suicide. Jaden Duong, 36, had been accused of loading the van with four bottles and ramming the offices of the anti-gay marriage group in December 2016. Officers were reportedly called to the scene of his 'non-suspicious' death around 4.30pm Sunday, the Canberra Times reports. In a statement ACT Policing said investigations are ongoing, with a report to be prepared for the coroner. Mr Duong was charged in April after allegedly driving a white van into the Australian...

Hillary Clinton — the same Hillary Clinton who spent her campaign months talking up the dangers of “dark money” in politics — was just outed for moving about $800,000 of the cash stashed for her presidential run to ANTIFA groups. Pardon, Ms. Clinton, the bluntness of the question. But isn’t that “dark money?” Apparently, Clinton’s been busy using her “Onward Together” Super-PAC dough to back resistance movements around the United States. The Gateway Pundit has more: In building investigations, Daily Caller first discovered that Hillary transferred a mass sum of money from her campaign over to Onward Together: Clinton transferred...

The Southern Poverty Law Center is a far left hate group that monitors what it defines as “hate groups” in America. The list includes singing nuns, secular Muslims, and traditional Christian communities. The SPLC is also linked to several violent acts in America. Craig Stephen Hicks Craig Steven Hicks is a raging progressive leftist who fed on a steady diet of liberal media. Then he murdered three Muslims. Hicks was a fan of the Huffington Post, Rachel Maddow, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and Freedom from Religion Foundation. An LGBT volunteer carrying bag of Chick-Fil-A sandwiches shot up the conservative...

The leader of the Southern Poverty Law Center said the organization condemns the antifa movement but won't brand it with the center's often-cited "hate group" designation. Richard Cohen, the president of the SPLC, told the Washington Examiner the loosely organized antifa movement, short for anti-fascism, is "wrongheaded" in opposing free speech and using violence. "We oppose these groups and what they're trying to do. We just don't think anyone should be able to censor someone else's speech," Cohen said, echoing and endorsing recent statements from progressive scholar Noam Chomsky.

In 2014, Black Lives Matter emerged as a global phenomenon when the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter turned into a rallying cry for a new generation of civil rights activists and organisers. A movement swept across the United States, affirming Black humanity in the face of relentless police brutality, mass incarceration and racial disparity. Built and sustained by many, the Black Lives Matter Global Network (BLM) has played a vital role in growing the Movement for Black Lives, and its loud calls for justice, dignity and equality have resonated around the world. Not a moment, but a movement Since creating the social media...

Properly whipped into an anti-racism frenzy, the Bay Area did what the Bay Area loves doing most. Or second most, after driving low-income minorities out of hopelessly expensive neighborhoods so that tech millionaires can live in them. They planned counterprotests! Lots of them. The events list ran to multiple pages.

Apparently this is the part when I’m supposed to jump on the anti-antifa bandwagon. The anti-fascists, after all, were the ones who rolled into Berkeley last weekend looking like fancy ninjas, and they were the ones who beat up the white nationalists – not the other way around. So the anti-fascists are bad, right? They’re all thugs and idiots who wear masks and carry shields, and deserve to be denounced and locked up? Not so fast.

The Austin based Anti-fascists group, Red Guards Austin, has been gaining prominence in the Texas Antifa movement. As we have previously reported, they are a self described autonomous Marxist-Leninist-Maoist collective and their website contains multiple reports on their confrontational and often armed demonstrations. They also openly advocate for violent revolution against capitalism. “we must seriously take up the task not only of self-defense on the personal and community level, but we must also struggle to unite all genuine antifascists behind the necessity of revolution. Revolution means the long fight for communism and nothing less.” In a recent blog titled...

Most of the news bulletins I'm exposed to are on the radio, as I'm tootling around hither and yon. So it took me a while to discover that what the media call "peace activists", "anti-racists" and "anti-Nazis" are, in fact, men and women garbed in black from head to toe, including face masks. Thus, as I pointed out on the radio last month, the violence on American streets derives from today's paramilitary wing of the Democrat Party - antifa - working itself up over yesterday's paramilitary wing of the Democrat Party - the Ku Klux Klan. Both have stupid pseudo-exotic...

Extremism: It wasn't long ago that Americans were being told repeatedly not to overreact to Islamic terrorism, because that would only serve as a terrorist recruiting tool. That's worth remembering now, in the wake of the white supremacist attack in Charlottesville, Va. Harsh language, bitter attacks, backlash against attacks, accusing whole groups of being in bed with terrorists, were all, we were told again and again, "just what ISIS wants." "The Islamic State wants the West to overreact," was a typical comment over the years. One commentator complained after the Manchester bombing in England this summer that saturation coverage of...

Berkeley Police released mugshots Tuesday of 11 of the 13 persons arrested at Sunday’s violent political riots in the California university town . . . [snip] The average age of the 13 people arrested is 30. Clare Lopez, vice president of research and analysis for the Center for Security Policy, said the mugshots reveal that the people behind the antifa masks were mostly professional agitators, not local college students. “With an average age of 30, those arrested during the violent Berkeley riots of Sunday 27 August do not fit the profile of the average college undergrad,” Lopez told WND. “In fact,...

HOUSTON — A Houston man has been arrested after he was allegedly caught trying to plant explosives on a Confederate statue at a Houston park, authorities said Monday.
