From May 5-11, 2012, I conducted a survey of 6,000 likely voters. On such a mammoth sample, the margin of error is less than 1 percent. I found that Romney has amassed a sizable lead over Obama of 51-42, far in excess of what published polling and surveys of registered — as opposed to likely — voters are indicating. If Romney were to win 51 percent of the vote, the election would, of course, be very close. But if he could hold Obama to 42 percent, it would be a landslide. So the obvious question is how Romney should go...

To understand the full dimensions of the coming Republican landslide, one needs look no further than the Senate races around the country. Because the presidential race is obscured by the heat of the Republican primary, the scale of the coming upheaval is less evident in presidential polling. But a survey of the key Senate races suggests not just a GOP victory, but a total rout. According to the usually very reliable polling by Scott Rasmussen, Republican candidates are currently leading their Democratic opponents in seven races for seats currently held by Democrats. (Florida, Missouri, Nebraska, Montana, North Dakota, Ohio, and...

I tried to link to a newsletter from Dick Morris and got this notice every time I tried; 403 Forbidden nginx/0.7.65, anybody else having this problem. My internet in the Philippines is slow, but I have never received this code. This is the site I was trying to access; http://www.dickmorris.com/blog/

Obama’s phony recoveryBy Dick Morris - 02/14/12 06:11 PM ET President Obama, faced with no recovery from the recession as he enters an election year, has come up with a handy political gimmick: Fake the statistics. The economic data that portend recovery are totally and completely inventions of Obama’s political operation. The reality is that no recovery is taking place! Economist James Fitzgibbon, of the Highlander Fund, explains how cooked the economic statistics on which the president bases his claims of recovery really are. Begin with “gains” in the stock market. Fitzgibbon explains that they are no indication of changes...

RUSH: I want to move on to this Dick Morris business and the attack on the Catholic Church last week by Obama. I want to ask you, if you remember back in January there was a presidential debate, a Republican debate in Manchester. Do you remember -- 'cause this is a setup for what's coming -- do you remember, we were all perplexed here. George Stephanopoulos kept hounding Romney on contraception. It had not come up, nobody had said anything about it, and we were all confused, as was Romney, what the deal was. Well, it is Dick Morris' theorem...

Dick Morris: Obama’s sneaky treaties By Dick Morris - 02/07/12 06:53 PM ET President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are entering negotiations over — or seeking ratification of — five treaties that could radically limit our national sovereignty and the reach of our democratic institutions. Particularly scary is that the treaties, once signed and ratified, have the same status as constitutional law and cannot be altered or eclipsed by Congress or state legislatures. And their provisions must be enforced by U.S. courts.

For students of American politics, following the way the Romney campaign played Newt Gingrich in Florida is a lesson to learn and to keep. Romney’s people must have realized that Newt does best when he is positive. His bold ideas, clear vision, revolutionary insights and extraordinary perspectives resonate with voters and win him millions of supporters. Romney, less compelling but more consistent, doesn’t need stellar debate performances or bold vision to win. The case for the former Massachusetts governor is more circumstantial: He can reach out to independents by virtue of his past apostasies on healthcare and abortion. He looks,...

Down goes Juan Williams. Down goes John King. Down goes the media elites. And, down goes the Dick Morris who told us Rick Santorum won the debate on Thursday night. Hear the roar. Edmund Wright at The American Thinker describes the failure of the liberal media and Republican elites to understand the passion, the intensity and frustration of the Great Unwashed after three years of Barack Obama and a corrupt Obama-coddling media. After Thursday’s debate was over in Charleston, I assumed that Newt had not only survived the Marianne episode, but had benefitted from it. I also figured he would...

Speaking on Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor" Wednesday night, political strategist and best-selling author Dick Morris called Rep. Ron Paul's rise in the polling for the Iowa caucuses one of the most distressing political developments of the season. Morris told substitute host Eric Bolling that it was "horrible" that Paul was doing so well. Several polls have him leading in Iowa, though in recent days former House Speaker Newt Gingrich seems to be mounting a comeback. "I think that he is absolutely the most liberal, radical, left-wing person to run for president of the United States in the last 50...

I hardly ever watch O'Reilly and haven't seen Dick Morris lately. Tonight I caught him on the show. He's never been a picture of health and fitness, but those are the eyes of a man that needs medical attention pronto.

This is the final video of a special six segment series of me interviewing GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain. In this video, Herman lays out the case for his candidacy and tells me why he would be the strongest candidate. I am not planning to back any of the GOP contenders but want to help them all get their message out and then back the nominee in 2012.

The genius of pollsters and forecasting public opinion (ask Bill Clinton!) explains why the worst fate of a politician is not to be liked or disliked but to be ignored and not taken seriously has finally caught up with Obama. The endless teleprompter rhetoric and spin is becoming tiresome even to some of his supporters!

Dear Friend, In this video commentary, I discuss how Gallup’s new data shows how farfetched Obama’s dream of re-election really is. I give you all the latest polling data. Tune in!

Dear Friend, In this video commentary, I discuss the battle of freedom going on in Ohio. The unions are trying to repeal the best reform law in America. If they win, they get their power back. If they lose, we beat them nationally and the vote is in two weeks!

Dear Friend, In this video commentary, I discuss the Occupy Wall Street movement. The demonstrations will turn against Obama and will further undermine his chances of re-election. I explain why. Tune in!

In an interview with conservative radio icon Sean Hannity, former President Clinton adviser and campaign manager Dick Morris stated that, after speaking with a Democratic strategist, he thinks it is “very possible” that President Obama might acquiesce to requests from the Democratic leadership in Congress and bow out of the 2012 race, leaving the door open for him to return sometime in the future. “I asked a top Democratic strategist the other day and he thought that it was possible that, in January, Harry Reid comes to Obama and says, ‘Look you cost us control of the House last year,...

Dear Friend, In this video commentary, I discuss how a new poll shows real erosion, for the first time, in African-American attitudes toward the president. This could be a catastrophe for him!

Dear Friend, In this video commentary, I discuss the possibility of Obama pulling out of the presidential race. As the negative poll numbers pile up and his base desserts him, will Obama actually run? If he doesn’t who will? How will it impact the race?

As bad news piles up for the Democrats, I asked a top Democratic strategist if it were possible that President Obama might “pull a Lyndon Johnson” and soberly face the cameras, telling America that he has decided that the demands of partisan politics are interfering with his efforts to right our economy and that he has decided to withdraw to devote full time to our recovery. His answer: “Yes. It’s possible. If things continue as they are and have not turned around by January, it is certainly possible.” Just looking at Michelle Obama’s unsmiling face during her husband’s recent speech...
