Rabbits at Denver International Airport are chewing through the wires of cars in the parking lot causing tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage. The airport is home to hundreds of bunnies, who are not living up to their cute reputation as they chew through brake lines, clutch lines and other wiring. Local car repair shops in the Denver area estimate that the rabbits are doing massive damage and car owners affected have pleaded with the airport to do something about the growing menace. 'When I had the trouble with the oil light coming on, the dealer told me...

On Jan. 7, exactly two weeks before we are to simultaneously celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and inaugurate Barack Obama to his second term as President of the United States, sinister advertisements went up in dozens of subway stations around New York City, making evident that despite the undoubted strides our nation has made toward achieving justice and equality, bigotry and fear-mongering remain alive and well in America. The American Freedom Defense Initiative, headed by Pamela Geller, an inflammatory demagogue with a long history of anti-Muslim incitement, purchased space in 39 stations for ads with an...

As many of you know, the first Gun Appreciation Day has been set for January 19th. The organizers want you to go out to your local gun range, gun store, gun show and show support for gun rights around the country. I think that this should be taken a step further and we should make it a march on each state capitol in the US. To that end, to all people in the state of Colorado, I hereby invite you to join me at the gun rights march at the Denver Capitol Building on January 19th at 11AM. I have...

Chicago in 2012 was ranked just ahead of Detroit, Los Angeles and Denver

The woman named “Democrat of The Year” this year by the Jefferson County Democratic Party has been convicted of felony theft by a Jefferson County jury for stealing from a developmentally disabled 71-year-old woman. -excerpt- Nearly as bothersome as the theft itself to Maxwell and other supporters of the victim, is the fact the Jefferson County Democratic Party was made aware of the ongoing criminal investigation and honored Carson anyway.

Gosh, what a nice (a sweetheart) woman she was. I believe her name was Gina. She called and talked to Rush about how big the crowd was at the Romney event in Red Rock CO. this week- she attended it. Apparently, it was bigger than the media is leading you to believe. Anyway, at the end of the call, Rush offered her a gift (turned out to be an IPHONE gift) that she refused and instead told Rush to give it to his next caller that was in the military.

Madonna left the gun play-heavy segment of her "MDNA" concert intact on Thursday night at Denver's Pepsi Center, upsetting some fans who say the pop star should have removed the section in light of the July movie theater shooting in nearby Aurora, Colo. The AP reports that fans called into local TV stations after the show to air their grievances over the segement, in which the pop star wields a prop gun and pretends to shoot an imaginary criminal while images of blood splattering are displayed on a backdrop. The scene takes place during Madonna's performance of "Gang Bang," a...

Was President Barack Obama under the influence of alcohol during the debate in Denver? Could alcohol consumption combined with the high altitude explain his poor performance? I'm not suggesting that Obama was drunk. It's not necessary for someone to be noticeably drunk for alcohol to adversely affect performance. If Obama had a few drinks before the debate it's probably a normal part of his preparation for public appearances. If he did drink, he was probably unaware that the alcohol combined with the altitude could affect his performance. The old belief that altitude can cause someone to become drunk faster appears...

Mitt Romney gave President Barack Obama a much-deserved shellacking in the first Presidential debate held in Denver. The Republican nominee, who many conservatives were close to writing off, served ace after ace, while Obama just stood there and tried to hit the ball back, looking stunned by Romney’s strength and his own failure. After an hour and half “match,” it was clear Romney was the man with the plan and Obama the man with more promises. Heeding conservatives’ advice to go bold, Romney showed us his backbone, laid out his plan and cornered Obama on his failed record. Again and...

The first presidential debate of 2012 is now behind us. And Republican challenger Mitt Romney won it handily. No one challenges this verdict. Even President Obama’s most ardent supporters concede it by way of the truly laughable excuses to which they’ve resorted in accounting for the decisive drubbing that their candidate received. But while the conventional wisdom concerning the victor is sound enough, the conventional wisdom concerning the debate’s loser is not so much. Obama, we are told, was “off his game.” From Denver’s altitude to personal family issues, every conceivable rationale has been offered by the President’s admirers to...

By now you've likely heard all about it, Barack Obama's crap-tastic debate performance last night in Colorado: the purportedly charming and talented orator of 2008 didn't even show up, and Dear Leader looked real, real wobbly (stoned...?). Romney meanwhile came loaded for freaking bear... But don't take us clingers' word for it, the news has already reached the Ole Blighty, and Brits were as gobsmacked by the Prez' hyper-weak performance we Yanks (inc. most libs): Daily Telegraph: Last night was a good example of what happens when you take President Obama off an autocue. He falls to pieces. Obama’s performance during the...

Hey, just blame it on Bush. The consensus on the presidential debate last night is that Barack Obama could resurrect the Choom Gang and star in a remake of Dazed and Confused. Conservative pundits are all aflutter with praise and liberals are all on Twitter with groans. Andrew Sullivan wrote, “Obama looked tired, even bored; he kept looking down; he had no crisp statements of passion or argument; he wasn't there.” A very upset Michael Moore tweeted, “This is what happens when u pick John Kerry as your debate coach.” And million-dollar-donor Bill Maher chimed in, “Obama made a lot...

Former Vice President Al Gore floated an interesting theory for President Obama's widely panned debate performance: Denver's thin air. "Obama arrived in Denver at 2 PM today — Just a few hours before the debate started," Gore said Wednesday on his Current TV network. "Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet and you only have a few hours to adjust -- I don't know," Gore said.

The Catholic owners of a Colorado-based business won an injunction recently against implementing an ObamaCare mandate -- only to be denied a proclamation now from the Denver City Council. Hercules Industries, a heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning manufacturer which employs 300 workers and has been in business in the Mile-High City for 50 years, was to be honored with a “Good Citizenship Award." The laurel was in recognition of contributions to the community, including the historic restoration of company headquarters and, ironically, its “generous employee health care coverage.” But the award was taken away after the owners of Hercules Industries, the...
