That sounds like what Tucker did the get his car built. Built his prototype with parts from other manufacturers, way ahead of his time and the Big # did not want “modern” ideas as that would require them to massively retool everything, its a shame history did what it did to the Tucker automobiles.

And just how many times does "fix" involve replacing;I don't know anyone who has ever repaired a leaking water heater -when the tank starts leaking it is time for a new one.Leaking and insufficient hot water because of change in usage surely are the most common complaints.If the water heater is scaled internally enough to seriously affect the hot water output it is also probably about to leak and might as well be replaced.

I would like to make a correction to one of the comments. Prader-Willi Syndrome effects both males and females. It develops in three ways. Two are very random with a deletion from the paternal or a duplication from the maternal on the fifteenth chromosome (they are not inherited) and the third is a mis-print on the fifteenth chromosome. The third one (mis-print) is the only one that can be inherited and it does not skip a generation. The first two happen randomly with no reason or cause. No one knows why any of them happen and there is no cure for Prader-Willi Syndrome. The children are now being treated with growth hormone to help with some of the medical problems but we need so much more research and a cure. Thank you for posting.

Some of my fellow Designers, and Engineers were “secretly” working on it in the basement of our building. I say say secretly because they were still charging there services to Ford. Not very ethical. They began with rounding parts up from junk yards, barns, where ever they could be found.They only thing I know that folks did not like as that they did not developer there own engine. I believe they bough it from Harley, or Suzuki. I am not sure on this point.

I was stopped at one of these "unobtrusive" check points on a Saturday night. I had sleeping children in the car, was tired myself but completely sober and completely legal (no guns, no burned out lights, nada) and had taken that route home because it was the fastest way. HAH!! I sat in the car waiting for an HOUR for those pr!cks to interrogate everyone ahead of me. When I got to the check point they waved me through.

I'm as pro law enforcement as anyone, but I could have shot every G-d d@mn one of them three times in the head for that. I DESPISE these road blocks, and the court that made them "legal".
