During a recent interview, Tucker Carlson openly shared his opinions about President Trump, stating that the president is “not capable†and has not kept his promises. According to a Washington Post article, Carlson stated: “His chief promises were that he would build the wall, defund Planned Parenthood and repeal Obamacare, and he hasn’t done any of those things,†Carlson said, adding that those goals were probably lost causes. Trump, he said, doesn’t understand the system, and his own agencies don’t support him. “He knows very little about the legislative process, hasn’t learned anything, hasn’t surrounded himself with people that...

The dispute did not involve abortion, but rather a legal battle over whether states could block Medicaid patients' access to other health services. WASHINGTON — The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday left lower court victories intact for Planned Parenthood in a legal battle with states over access by Medicaid patients to the group's services. The dispute did not involve abortion, but the action by the justices keeps a hot-button political issue off the docket. Three of the court's conservatives said the court should have taken the case. After an anti-abortion group released videos in 2015 that purported to show officials...

What drove down US stocks this week? The answer may be the US bond market and what the shape of the yield curve is - or isn't - telling us about the state of the economy. For most of 2018, the US yield curve has been flattening. This happens when the gap between short- and longer-dated yields narrows, historically a sign that economic growth may be slowing. On Tuesday, a section of the curve briefly inverted, with the yield on the five-year US Treasury note falling slightly below that on the two-year note. That helped spark a 3.2% decline in the S&P...

In launching their now successful protests against President Emmanuel Macron’s gas hike, the French gilets jaunes (yellow jackets) have revived their country’s reputation for rebelling against monarchial rule. It may well foreshadow a bitter, albeit largely avoidable, battle over how to address the issue of climate change. Macron’s policies rest on the notion on-going climate catastrophe embraced by media, the academy and the intelligentsia. Every time weather takes a nasty turn as it often does — heat waves, downpours, forest fires, floods — it’s often attributed to climate change. This leads to the notion that we need to embrace climate...

We don’t know what migrants to the United States, now on our borders, have suffered. We know what we are being told. Is there any reason to suspect we are not being told the truth? Could it be possible there is gang violence and people are being subject to cruelty that we can only image? Why would someone want to leave their county, where they have family and speak the language, and come to an unknown country and an unknown language? Our low-paying jobs are not the only answer. We tend to think of America as a place to which...

When President Trump’s nomination to replace Jeff Sessions as attorney general first came to light, I was a little underwhelmed. Yes, I’ll embarrassingly admit I was forced to Google “William Barr,” something I felt like I shouldn’t have had to do with such a high-profile pick, but I’m glad I did, and after more research I’m glad President Trump picked him above all the other ‘sexier’ potential picks for the slot. As a former George H.W. Bush AG who held the spot for a little over a year, Barr obviously has the experience. I was in high school but into following...

“If you can have a birthday wish come true, what would it be?†I asked Officer Daniel Holtzclaw. “To be acquitted,†he answered. Three years ago today, on his 29th birthday, Officer Daniel Holtzclaw was convicted of crimes he did not commit. He is one of the many men to suffer the effects of leftist man-hating mobs. He was masculine in appearance, so of course he was guilty, the lead detective surmised. That, plus the supposed victims were all black, so he was presumed racist by the media. Presumption of innocence was all but trampled in his case. He was guilted...

Crisis: Over the weekend the cable news shows were filled with politicians Left and Right pontificating about what special counsel Robert Mueller’s latest filings on Friday regarding President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen really mean. The pontificating went into hyperdrive following the publication of a column by former national security prosecutor Andrew McCarthy, in which he predicted that the president is about to be indicted by the Southern District of New York for “campaign finance violations.” Impeachment! the Democrats screamed. Impeachment! As if they weren’t already considering it, without cause or reason. McCarthy wrote: The major takeaway from...

As the final weeks of the GOP-controlled Congress draw to a close, pro-life voters look on with great disappointment at the Republican politicians who failed to follow through on their most crucial promise: to defund Planned Parenthood. In about a month, Democrats will take over the House of Representatives and any hope of stripping the abortion giant of federal funding will pass away. With precious little time left in the lame-duck session, GOP congressional leaders have chosen to ignore the persistent urgings of pro-life leaders. Just last week, leaders from Live Action, Students for Life America, the Susan B. Anthony...

EXCERPT President Clinton may be a candidate for sex addiction therapy. But feminists have been right to resist pressure by the right wing and the media to call for his resignation or impeachment. The pressure came from another case of the double standard..... the common-sense guideline to sexual behavior that came out of the women's movement 30 years ago: no means no; yes means yes. It's the basis of sexual harassment law. It also explains why the media's obsession with sex qua sex is offensive to some, titillating to many and beside the point to almost everybody. Like most feminists,...

This article consists of a video found HERE. It's actually a pretty good video. Some comments... Is the Stoner 63 really as good of a gun as everyone says? Today is my first opportunity to try one out on the range, and I’m going to look at it in three different configurations: the Mk23 SEAL light machine gun, the “Bren” style automatic rifle, and the carbine. Let’s see how it handles! I owe a tremendous thanks to Movie Armaments Group in Toronto for the opportunity to take the Stoner kit out to the range! Check them out on Instagram to...

Yeah, I know conservatives are not supposed to be excited about change and disruption and actually accomplishing things, but you look at what the French people are doing and you have to think, “You tell those elitist jerks what’s what, Pierre!” Those feisty frogs are sick and tired of being forced to sacrifice their francs (yeah, I know they use euros, but “franc” has a “k” sound so it’s funnier) on the carbon tax altar to Gaia, the false demigod worshipped by the smart set congregation of the creepy weather cult. Impoverish the peasants today to maybe make it a...

UN Human Rights Chief Michelle Bachelet criticises the Danish government’s plan to place criminal migrants on a deserted island. According to her, it is not good to stigmatise migrants in this way.About a week ago Denmark’s Finance Minister Kristian Jensen announced that criminal foreigners in the future will be placed on an uninhabited island in anticipation of expulsion. After the island has been cleared of swine fever. The migrants will be allowed to leave the island during the day but must stay there at night. The decision was taken in conjunction with budget negotiations with the Danish People’s party. “Hooray!”, wrote...

During the construction of London's massive "super sewer," archaeologists discovered something unusual in the mud: a 500-year-old skeleton of a man still wearing his thigh-high leather boots. The Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA) announced this week that the skeleton was unearthed on the shores of the Thames, near a bend in the river downstream from the Tower of London. "By studying the boots, we've been able to gain a fascinating glimpse into the daily life of a man who lived as many as 500 years ago," said Beth Richardson, a finds specialist who analyzes artifacts at MOLA Headland, a consortium...

Midterm election polling analysis reveals deep divides between Democrat and Republican voters on the growing multicultural populations in the United States. Polling analysis from the Pew Research Center reveals that the overwhelming majority of Republican voters in the recent midterm elections, 85 percent, say the U.S. today favors minorities over white Americans. Only 11 percent of GOP voters said white Americans are favored over minority groups. On the opposite end of the political spectrum, 87 percent of Democrat voters in the midterm elections say white Americans are favored in the U.S. over minorities. Only 12 percent of Democrat voters say...

The conservative writer and conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi filed a lawsuit on Sunday accusing special counsel Robert Mueller of blackmailing him to lie about President Donald Trump in the investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election. The suit, which seeks $350 million in actual and punitive damages in U.S. District Court in Washington, was filed six days after Corsi entered a formal complaint with the Justice Department alleging prosecutorial misconduct by Mueller. Corsi, 72, the former Washington bureau chief of the conspiracy website InfoWars, accuses Mueller's office of having illegally leaked secret information from the grand jury investigating Russian...

WYOMING (WKZO AM/FM) -- Grief counselors will be on hand at Godfree Lee Public Schools in Wyoming this morning after the weekend drowning of a staff member at the School District. Police say that it appears that 38-year-old Tracy Cashman died when she went through the ice trying to save her dog, during a walk through Battjes Park. Cashman’s Mother says they became concerned when Lola the dog returned home soaking wet without Cashman about 9pm Saturday night. The family searched the park and then called police. Fire rescue crews recovered her body from a pond in the park. Godfree-Lee...

Nationwide, about 89,000 police will fan out in the streets, an increase from 65,000 last weekend, when more than 130 people were injured and over 400 arrested as the protests degenerated into the worst street violence to hit the French capital in decades. In addition to the closure of the Eiffel Tower, many shops and museums across Paris, including the Louvre, the Orsay Museum and the Grand Palais, will be shut on Saturday for safety reasons. Music festivals, operas and other cultural events in the capital were canceled.

It’s been like this for years. He’s (Macron) paying for how arrogant he is. That plus the way he speaks to French people. He doesn’t care about the people, he’s in his world. He needs to pay for all of that. He’s the most arrogant of all presidents. I don’t know why he does this, he should realise how he talks to French people. He thinks he’s superior to everyone.
