Greg Nash Rep. Chaka Fattah (D-Pa.) submitted a letter of resignation from Congress on Wednesday that laid out his plan to remain as a member through October 3. The letter, sent a day after a jury convicted him of 23 corruption charges, was quickly ripped by Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), who called on Democratic leaders to join him in demanding Fattah's immediate resignation. "Mr. Fattah has betrayed the trust of this institution and the people of Pennsylvania, and for that he should resign immediately from the House of Representatives," Ryan said in a statement he tweeted out Wednesday. "We...

Jack Ma said many counterfeit goods are now of better quality than the genuine articles, in an apparent riposte to criticism that Alibaba, the Chinese ecommerce group he founded, profits from the sale of knock-offs. The remarks by the chairman of Alibaba, which has long been dogged by accusations of tolerating the sale of counterfeit goods on platforms such as Taobao, are unlikely to be welcomed by luxury goods makers. "The problem is the fake products today are of better quality and better price than the real names. They are exactly the [same] factories, exactly the same raw materials but...

Rapper Demarcus Davis was arrested last week after he was seen on YouTube and in social media posts sending death threats to presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump — while brandishing stolen guns. “I really want to go to war with Donald Trump because Donald Trump is tryin’ to take food stamps from my momma and that’s all the (expletive) she got,” the 22-year-old Baton Rouge-based rapper said in a YouTube video posted on May 22. “Let Donald Trump know it’s up over here. We want war; we’re going to declare war.”

Message indiscipline. This was a pretty rare, unguarded moment for Josh Earnest. All Democrats understand the absolute importance of message discipline, which always starts with the consistent use of words designed to support their narrative, no matter how absurd that narrative might be. That’s why abortion is “choice” and tax hikes are “fairness” and being a Republican is “racism.” You use the correct words, always, everywhere, and you don’t waver. Nowhere is this more true than with the Hillary e-mail investigation, which Hillary keeps trying to label a “security inquiry” - a thing that doesn’t even exist according to the...

-86,000 criminal illegal immigrants have committed 231,000 crimes in past two and a half years- The Obama administration is withholding from Congress and the American people detailed information about more than 86,000 illegal aliens who have committed serious crimes and continue to walk the streets in the United States, according to conversations with a member of Congress, who disclosed to the Washington Free Beacon that “if the public knew about this there would be total absolute outrage” over the matter. Rep. Brian Babin (R., Texas) told the Free Beacon that the administration is trying to suppress information about the release...

Hillary Clinton posted and shared the names of concealed U.S. intelligence officials on her unprotected email system. Federal records reveal that Clinton swapped these highly classified names on an email account that was vulnerable to attack and was breached repeatedly by Russia-linked hacker attempts. These new revelations — reminiscent of the Valerie Plame scandal during George W. Bush’s tenure — could give FBI investigators the evidence they need to make a case that Clinton violated the Espionage Act by mishandling national defense information through “gross negligence.”

You Need to See This Tribute to the Victim’s of Michael Vick’s Dog Fighting Ring By Diana Beth Miller - May 23, 2016 Dog fighting has been around for decades. We once may have thought of this practice as one of those faraway, unmentionable “sports” that takes place in the dark recesses of abandoned buildings with less-than-stellar characters at the helm. But, when news broke of an American football quarterback, Michael Vick’s, horrendous practice of dog fighting within the confines of his “luxury” home and property, people were not only shocked and stunned, but also extremely angry that this high-profile...

Irritated that the media would dare to pose a question about the legality of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's unsecured email communications, President Obama refused to comment, suggesting that "whether she did anything that was really wrong is a matter for voters to decide. And from what I've seen so far, she's on her way to securing the Democratic nomination for president. I think that says the majority of Americans are okay with how she's handled it." The media's unwelcome inquiry was spurred by an 83-page State Department Inspector General's report calling Clinton's email operation an "inexcusable and willful...

The Obama administration continues to suppress at least 12 versions of a 451-page draft indictment charging Hillary Clinton with criminal misconduct in the Whitewater case, according to an index in the National Archives obtained in a Freedom of Information Act request by the Washington-based watchdog Judicial Watch. One of the indictments specifically lists “overt acts” allegedly committed by the former first lady. It follows Judicial Watch’s release on Jan. 28 of 246 pages of previously undisclosed internal memos from Ken Starr’s Office of Independent Council investigation in 1998. The memos showed prosecutors had evidence that Hillary Clinton and her associate...

From suspicion over the Clintons’ Whitewater dealings to 2008 claims of having braved “sniper fire” in Bosnia to now, where she faces questions over her use of a secret email server to conduct business in the State Department, Hillary Clinton has earned a level of distrust that’s almost unprecedented for a major political party presidential nominee. New polling shows voters rate Donald Trump as more honest than Mrs. Clinton, underscoring deep questions that have been swirling for decades around the former secretary of state and current front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination. Sen. Bernard Sanders, her competitor for the nomination,...

A 1998 interview confirms allegations by leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump that Hillary Clinton was involved in attacking women who accused her husband, then President Bill Clinton, of assault and other sexual improprieties. In the interview, Hillary said those accusing and investigating her husband “would have a lot to answer for” and that their backgrounds would be investigated. Clinton, the leading Democratic Party presidential candidate has come under fire from her GOP rival Trump for her role in enabling serial sexual abuse of women by her husband Bill. Trump has accused Hillary Clinton of ‘abusing’ women who claimed they...

The State Department told the Republican National Committee that it could not find any emails to or from Hillary Clinton's former IT specialist, who managed her private email server before going on to work for the agency, according to a court filing made public Monday. The government's revelation in U.S. District Court in Washington came in answer to a lawsuit by the Republican National Committee. The RNC had sued over its public records request for all work-related emails sent to or received by Clinton's former aide, Bryan Pagliano, between 2009 and 2013, the years of Clinton's tenure as America's top...

<p>Senator Leads Hillary Clinton Supporters in Rendition of 'She Works Hard for the Money'</p>
<p>If there were an award for the most awkward (yet kind-of amazing) intro speech at a Hillary Clinton rally, it could go to Sen. Tom Carper for his performance today at the Democratic front-runner’s event in Wilmington, Delaware.</p>

In a surprising move said to be aimed at undermining contentions that she is being afforded special treatment, Democratic presidential contender, former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton demanded that “everyone who violates the law anywhere should be held accountable.” Campaign manager Robby Mook argued that “this will take the wind out of the sails of those in the GOP who maintain that Hillary sees herself as above the law. By insisting that everyone who violates the law must be prosecuted, the absence of any prosecution from the Department of Justice will stand as a total vindication of her innocence. In...

A 41-year-old inmate at the Varner Unit was shot and killed Thursday while attempting to escape, according to a spokesman with the Arkansas Department of Correction. Spokesman Solomon Graves identified the inmate as Christopher Wilson of Saltillo. Wilson had been at the prison since 2003 after receiving a life sentence without parole for pleading guilty to two counts of capital murder, records show. Wilson entered the plea to avoid the death penalty in the December 2002 beating deaths of a woman and her 8-month-old son, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported Sept. 3, 2003. The husband of Pamela Kay Reed, 26, found...

Donald Trump Settled a Real Estate Lawsuit, and a Criminal Case Was Closed By MIKE McINTIRE APRIL 5, 2016 For Donald J. Trump, it is a long-held legal strategy, if not a point of pride, to avoid knuckling under to plaintiffs in court. “I don’t settle lawsuits — very rare — because once you settle lawsuits, everybody sues you,” he said recently. But Mr. Trump made an exception when buyers of units in Trump SoHo, a 46-story luxury condominium-hotel in Lower Manhattan, asserted that they had been defrauded by inflated claims made by Mr. Trump, his children and others of...
