"He came to the police station at 6:20 p.m. [Thursday] and told us that she was dead," Orchard Park Police Chief Andrew Benz said late this morning. Muzzammil Hassan told police that his wife was at his business, Bridges TV, on Thorn Avenue in the village. Officers...

Islamic ‘political correctness’ seems to be taking over our reason and resolve. How far can this go in America? Unfortunately, it is likely that it could go very far given that most Americans appear to be asleep at the switch. American’s are tired and just want the ‘Change Fairy’ to take care of it all. There is no ‘Change Fairy’. America and the world are faced with a patient, determined adversary. Islamic terrorists/radicals have made substantial progress in Great Britain, Denmark and Minnesota towards their goal of establishing Sharia law throughout the world. Atlas Shrugs has an interesting article illustrating...

On October 7, 2008, Debbie Schlussel broke the story about the Fisher Price (Mattel) marketing the Little Mommy Cuddle & Coo Doll, a doll that markets Islamic propaganda (See: INDOCTRI-Nation: Fisher-Price Doll Tells Your Kids, "Islam is the Light"). Little Mommy Cuddle is a blond, blue-eyed baby doll that coos "Islam is the Light" (listen to the slowed down audio here.) Originally the Doll Mattel Denied the Report, but eventually the toy was removed from major retailers such as Wal-Mart. Now your child can get the Sharia message on their Nintendo Gaming system:

Note: Video included. January 21, 2009 For hate speech -- after declining to do so last year, which means that Islamic supremacist groups in the Netherlands have kept up the pressure on lawmakers until they got the outcome they wanted. Hate speech, of course, is in the eye of the beholder, and hate speech laws are tools in the hands of the powerful that they can use to silence the powerless and crush dissent. And make no mistake: even though the Muslims in the Netherlands and elsewhere in the West present themselves as embattled victims of racism and "Islamophobia," that...

Islamofascism: In bailing out AIG, Uncle Sam may have taken on more than he bargained for, including a constitutional fight over the promotion of religion.Earlier this month, as the New York-based insurance giant benefited from $153 billion in tax-supported bailout funds, it launched a business unit offering Shariah-compliant insurance products in the U.S. For the first time, homeowners' insurance policies "compliant with key Islamic finance tenets" will be marketed to Muslims in America. "We are pleased to offer socially responsible solutions to this segment of the domestic market," the near-bankrupt AIG announced in a press release, explaining that the Islamic...

Last month a Muslim Family went to the restaurant and became outraged when they did not have any toys without the quote, so they complained to the Terrorist Support Group CAIR who called for a Probe of the company's toy distribution policy (Long John Silvers is owned by Yum! A Muslim family eating in a Long John Silver's restaurant in the Mall of America is upset because their child's meal came with a toy that had "Build with Jesus" written on it. As usual CAIR has gotten involved. They want the restaurant to give the family a written apology, make sure that this never happens again and have representatives of the chain participate in CAIR's sensitivity and diversity training. By diversity do they mean this?

The British finally take a step to wake up their country by showing the Islam truth movie Fitna and the EU turns around and helps the enemy out by banning the screening. The reason that they gave for banning the film was that there were protests in Pakistan, Iran, Indonesia and Afghanistan after a Dutch screening. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon calls the film "offensively anti-Islamic".

ATLANTA – A Muslim woman arrested for refusing to take off her head scarf at a courthouse security checkpoint said Wednesday that she felt her human and civil rights were violated. A judge ordered Lisa Valentine, 40, to serve 10 days in jail for contempt of court, said police in Douglasville, a city of about 20,000 people on Atlanta's west suburban outskirts.

As a Georgia Muslim woman tried to enter a courtroom, a bailiff told her that she would have to remove her hijab if she wanted to come in. Instead of complying she cursed the bailiff. As a result she was sentenced to 10 days in jail for contempt of court. Apparently it is OK when they tell us how to live, but no one can ask anything of them.

Information extrapolated and formulated from Blogsphere. The last vestiage of free speech! The subprime predatory lending scheme that engineered the 2008 economic crisisThere are two loan terms in this artcle, one is "micro-finance" and the other is "subprime" loans. Both types of loans are designed to "get rich off the poor" by lending to those who cannot afford them. It has been referred to by some economists as "predatory lending".Though micro-finance loans have been extended to the mortgage industry, subprime loans were already available using the same common "rule-set" for loaning to people with little income and no credit. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today called on the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate a series of incidents in which Muslim women in Georgia were prevented from entering courtrooms because they were wearing Islamic headscarves, or hijabs. After she walked through the security area, a bailiff allegedly told...

A British prison has decided not to include a crucifix in the décor of its new chapel for fear of offending Muslim inmates. The ‘multi-faith space’ at HMP Lewes is divided in two sections, according to the Daily Mail. One half-features heated footbaths for Muslim worshipers; the other side, dedicated to Christian prayer, features a removable altar and a plain wooden cross – also removable. Plans to include the traditional Christian crucifix were erased from the chapel’s blueprints on the advice of a Muslim imam, the Daily Mail reported.

A prison’s new chapel will not contain a crucifix to avoid offending Muslim inmates, it emerged today. Bosses at HMP Lewes have been told the traditional Christian symbol, featuring Jesus nailed to a cross, must not be used in the Grade-II listed Victorian jail’s ‘multi-faith space’. The room - part of a £1million new block - has been split in two, with one half featuring heated foot baths so Muslim worshippers can wash their feet before prayer. But the other side, dedicated to Christian prayer, contains just a simple wooden cross and portable alter - both of which can be...

In hopes of meeting the needs of Muslim students, a foot-washing station was recently installed in Minnesota State University’s Centennial Student Union. “What we try to do around this building is provide things that make all kinds of groups of students feel comfortable,” said student union director Laurie Woodward. The idea was brought to the Student Union Board several years ago, but it wasn’t until the renovation of several bathrooms on the second floor that the space became available. The station was paid for entirely through student fees. Woodward said anyone is welcome to use the room even though it...

A draft resolution scheduled for consideration by a committee of the United Nations General Assembly threatens to criminalize criticism of religion. In its current form, the resolution would declare defamation of religion to be a violation of international law. The resolution’s drafters hope to circumvent free-speech statutes in other countries, including the United States’ own First Amendment. The resolution is the culmination of many years of quiet work by the Organization of the Islamic Conference, representing more than 50 Muslim nations. The OIC has set as a goal the criminalization of any “defamation of religion, especially Islam” — and is...

What if Christians demanded the following: 1. If anyone around Christians at work or school eats pork then they would get fired or severely chastised because we believe that scarfing down pig really offends God (and of course his people). Yep, BLTs—according to our take on Christ’s commands—really ticks him off and therefore bacon should be banned. Not only that, but any food that has even trace amounts of Porky the Pig in it must be verboten and banished from our presence everywhere we go because we’re Christians, and Christians don’t dine on swine. This means Jell-O shots at Tu-Tu-Tango’s...

The scheme to provide retirement funds for millions who do not already have a company pension is likely to include a special option that would not invest in companies deemed sinful under Islam. Ministers are keen to get Muslims saving with the Personal Accounts Delivery Authority, as many who have low-paid jobs or who have moved to Britain in recent decades are unlikely to have put away much for their old age. The decision to provide a Sharia-compliant pension fund is another sign of the growing influence of Islamic law in British public life and in particular the country's finance...

A mosque asking that Canadian workplaces respect a strict Muslim dress code is at the same time disseminating slurs against Jews and Western societies, and warning members against social integration. This might be a good time for investors to pick up a copy of the Koran. Stocks and other investments that adhere to sharia, or Islamic law -- though hardly unscathed -- have fared better than the broader market. That's thanks largely to rules that forbid investing in collateralized debt obligations and other toxic assets that have caused the carnage in conventional financial circles. A big part of the appeal of Islamic finance is its simplicity. Speculation is taboo under sharia, and there's a ban on assessing interest because the Prophet Mohammed said debts must be repaid in the amount...

MANDARIN, Fla. -- A controversial sign at a Christian church has some Muslims very upset. The sign reads: "God loves you, Allah hates." A spokesperson for the council on American Islamic relations said that the message is preposterous because he believes Muslims, Christians and Jews all believe in the same Lord. One mother saw the sign and was scared by the message it was sending. "What have I done, what have I done to deserve that kind of hatred in my neighborhood?" she said. The pastor of the church refused to talk on camera and when asked about the sign...

A Government decision to allow Islamic courts in Britain the right to rule on family disputes and divorces has been condemned as discriminatory to women. Civil rights campaigners are angry that ministers have approved plans to allow Sharia councils in Britain the right to settle disputes regarding money, property and access to children. They say such tribunals are institutions for male domination which treat women like second-class citizens. Couples who choose to use the Sharia system must get the ruling rubber-stamped by a judge sitting in an ordinary family court. But neither party has to attend this hearing and approval...

Imam sees Islam as "tool kit" for fixing Western woes By: Matt Burnard Posted: 10/22/08 "Yes, al Qaeda is an Islamic organization," affirmed Imam Zaid Shakir to a group in Logan Hall on Tuesday night, "in the sense that it is an organization associated with Muslims." But Shakir was anxious to divert the audience's attention to "the very real question of whether such an organization actually exists, or whether the U.S. has created 'a legal fiction' to justify rounding up those involved in 9/11." Speaking as part of Penn's Islam Awareness Week, Shakir, an American convert to Islam and scholar...

THE HAGUE, 23/10/08 - The police in the Gouda region have sworn in police officers who swore allegiance to Allah. Small Christian party SGP has demanded an explanation from the government. Police in the Netherlands can choose between the Christian oath ('So help me God Almighty) and the neutral vow ('I declare and promise...'). In London's historic "Inns of Court", barristers practise law in the shadow of the distinctive medieval Temple Church. But does English law really owe a debt to Muslim law? For some scholars, a historical connection to Islam is a "missing link" that explains why English common law is so different from classical Roman legal systems that hold sway across much of the rest of Europe. It's a controversial idea. Common law has inspired legal systems across the world. What's more, calls for the UK to accommodate Islamic Sharia law have caused public outcry.

How The West Was Won The rapid and unexpected decline of the Sunni insurgency in Iraq was officially recognized this week, when Maj. Gen. John Kelly, commanding the Marine Expeditionary Force, turned operational control of Anbar Province over to the Iraqi army and police. Anbar, a vast expanse of desert the size of North Carolina, had been the stronghold of the Sunni insurgency. For years, foreign fighters loyal to al-Qaida had sneaked across Iraq's northwestern border with Syria, into Anbar and down a "rat line" of safe houses in Haditha, Ramadi and Hit. From Fallujah, the arch terrorist Zarqawi...

Criminalizing Criticism of Islam By ELIZABETH SAMSON FROM TODAY'S WALL STREET JOURNAL EUROPE September 10, 2008 There are strange happenings in the world of international jurisprudence that do not bode well for the future of free speech. In an unprecedented case, a Jordanian court is prosecuting 12 Europeans in an extraterritorial attempt to silence the debate on radical Islam. The prosecutor general in Amman charged the 12 with blasphemy, demeaning Islam and Muslim feelings, and slandering and insulting the prophet Muhammad in violation of the Jordanian Penal Code. The charges are especially unusual because the alleged violations were not committed...

When Random House bought her novel last year in a $100,000, two-book deal, she was ecstatic. Islamofascism: A new study confirms our "ally" Saudi Arabia is still poisoning young Muslim minds with anti-Western textbooks. So? Its hate-filled graduates are enrolling at our colleges. The Hudson Institute reviewed the 2007-08 textbooks distributed by the Saudi Ministry of Education and found that, despite promised reforms, the kingdom still teaches students to "hate the infidels."
