Officials and campus cops at Southern Oregon University threatened to call the police on a group of four students who were distributing copies of the U.S. Constitution outside the designated “free speech zone” last week. The Constitution kerfuffle occurred last Tuesday at the obscure public school in the middle of nowhere, Campus Reform reports. Five pastors in the City of Houston have been hit with a subpoena demanding copies of sermons and other pastoral communications. These pastors apparently oppose a City Ordinance which allows men to go into the ladies restroom and vice versa. A petition drive was launched against the “non-discrimination” ordinance, which over 50,000 residents signed. The City claimed there were “irregularities” in the collection of signatures and refused to put the issue on the ballot. The city of Tulsa, Oklahoma, punished one of its own veteran police commanders for his refusal to attend a Muslim religious service being held at a mosque he said practiced radical Islamic dogma, according to court records. He also "dared" to refuse to order his officers to visit a mosque he alleges has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

University officials threatened to call the police and disciplinary action against students who were passing out copies of the U.S. Constitution at Southern Oregon University (SOU) last week. A group of four students at SOU handed out copies of the Constitution on campus Tuesday while collecting signatures to end the university’s restrictive speech policies, which limit free speech to an area that totals less than one percent of campus.
