Case in point:

When Arne was in charge of the CPS, a Music Teacher, 'Mr G', from my old HS, Kelly, advanced through the years and became Principal of Kelly.

He LOVED that school as way back when, 1966, it was a very good school and 'Mr G' wanted it to improve to be that way again - or as close as possible given the 'new demographics'. As such he would NOT allow grade promotions or GRADUATION if the kids grades stunk - an F was an F. As such many flunked and the dropout rate was higher than the average for Chicago Public High Schools.

'Mr G' was summarily fired after a couple years for not 'going along'.

Kindergarten and first grade there were enough to warp me for life.

At least that’s the theory of some.

Chicago public schools have been a national joke since I was a student there in the 1960s and 1970s.

As a business owner, when I hire an executive for a supervisory position, the highest priority is given to his/her previous tack record. This is considered far above his academic record. Arne Duncan has led one of the nation’s largest school districts into utter oblivion. The system works only for the administrators and teachers while the students are deprived of an education that should be available because the funding for such an education has been supplied by the taxpayers.

Duncan was not asked to perform a miracle, he turned billions of dollars into a dysfunctional mess. Duncan speaks the “language” of an educator but what the children need are teachers. Duncan has no qualifications for his post and he will hasten a Chicago type education on the rest of the country. Check his record... It speaks for itself.

The GOP must find their spine and guts and investigate and expose all these enemies of America; we must take back our country from the enemies within.
