My PRS is a CE24. I’m not sure of the exact type of rosewood used for this guitar; it uses the same electronics and body materials as a Standard but has a bolt-on maple neck instead of a set mahogany one, plus it has dot inlays on the fingerboard instead of seagulls. A pretty sweet axe in spite of the grimy-looking fingerboard. :)

Epiphones are made overseas. Gibson and Gibson Custom Shop instruments are made here in the US.

I’m not wild about rosewood fingerboards either; the maple fingerboard on my Strat looks almost new while the rosewood fingerboard on my PRS looks grimy no matter how often I clean it.

I would have done something, or at least I would have if I could have ponied up for a Custom Shop ‘59 Les Paul Standard.

All my kitties are girls, and they’re all spayed. One of them is pretty vocal, but she’s a tortie and apparently that comes with the territory. And our little torbie kitty occasionally does a very loud, sad song when both the big kitties are outside and she thinks they need to come in.

There are a couple stray toms in the neighborhood who occasionally come through calling for dates. Neither of them seems particularly afraid of people, as long as the people are at least ten feet away.

Horrible customer service is Comcast talking almost two weeks to transfer my cable service from my apartment to my new house. What the IRS did is a crime.

I got pretty drunk the night before, which probably helped. I still remember my mom calling me the morning of the quake asking me if I was okay. I was still in bed when she called and of course I hadn’t seen the news, so I responded with something like, “Um, yeah... why?”

I actually managed to sleep through the Northridge quake in 1994. Although I have to admit alcohol was a factor in that. :)

The misuse of the word “literally” makes me want to literally slap people upside the head.

Anyone who’s lived in California their whole life probably would barely notice a 3.9 quake. I personally don’t feel anything below a five!
