Isabelle Thorpe and Kate Shortman want to end the stigma against muscular women. Two U.K. Olympians are hoping to spread the message that there is no correct definition of a “feminine body.” Artistic swimmers Kate Shortman, 19, and Isabelle Thorpe, 20, did a lingerie photoshoot for Bluebella’s #BeStrongBeBeautiful campaign to embrace their muscular bodies and help promote women in sports. For the underwater photoshoot, the duo showed off their muscles as they held a Union Jack. “It’s utterly unfair that society’s expectations for boys are to have this perfect image of health by going to the gym, lifting weights, and...

SACRAMENTO — Propelled by growing voter frustration over California’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a Republican-led drive to remove Gov. Gavin Newsom from office collected enough voter signatures to qualify for the ballot, state officials reported Monday, triggering for only the second time in the state’s history a rapid-fire campaign to decide whether to oust a sitting governor. Recall backers submitted more than 1,495,709 verified voter signatures — equal to 12% of all ballots cast in the last gubernatorial election — meeting the minimum threshold to force a special recall election, according to a tally released by Secretary of State...

Sudan is to normalise relations with Israel, US President Donald Trump says - the latest in a series of Arab League countries to do so. There had been growing speculation Sudan would announce ties in return for being removed from the US list of state sponsors of terrorism. Sudan had been a foe of Israel since the latter's founding in 1948. It comes weeks after similar moves by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain. The two Gulf states became the first in the Middle East to recognise Israel in 26 years. Jordan signed a peace deal with Israel in...

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Trump has announced his pick for Supreme Court justice: Joe Biden. By nominating Biden, Trump has forced the Dems' hands, making them believe the sexual assault claims and allegations of inappropriate, creepy behavior against the former vice president. The "4D chess" move forced Dems to immediately accuse Joe Biden of sexual assault and reverse their position on the current claims against him. "We now believe Tara Reade," said a somber Kamala Harris, "and we will do everything in our power to destroy this man's life." (snip)

JERUSALEM—Roman authorities are investigating controversial religious leader Jesus of Nazareth for violating the Empire's clear "stay in tomb" order. After crucifying him and laying him in the tomb, Roman guards put Him under strict orders to stay there and not come back, rising victorious over sin and death. ---SNIP--- "Jesus is a dangerous rebel, refusing to bend the knee to Caesar and not abiding by the law of sin and death," said one Roman official.
