    Yes. Very impressive.

The video is of two female Olympic gold medalists (Shawn Johnson and Nastia Leiuken [sp?]) reviewing and reacting to men attempting women’s floor, bars, and beam gymnastic routines. Pretty benign and worth a view.

Simple solution to this problem the regressives and modern day segregationists created would be to establish XX and XY competitor groupings. But hey, they are far too busy tripping over themselves trying to be first at something someone else has already done.

Transfer bars are only on a few SAA type revolvers. The gun in question, having seen a video of the same model used in the movie, has a hammer mounted firing pin as was the original design of the Colt SAA pistol.

However, there are three notches and four clicks that occur when cocking these SAA models and their non-transferbar clones.

The first click is a quarter-notch safety that happens at nearly the same moment you begin pulling back on the hammer. This safety was incorporated to hold the hammer (with firing pin) back far enough to not rest on the primer of a live round when the cylinder is loaded with six live rounds. It must be utilized manually by the user and should protect against an unintended strike against the hammer which might ignite the primer of the cartridge — firing the gun. It also acts as a last level of protection if you fumble thumb the hammer while cocking and let the hammer unexpectedly drop back towards a live round. This safety is active only if the trigger remains forward. It is not a robust safety and in all cases it is recommended you treat the gun as if it does not exist and never park the hammer on a live round by leaving that chamber empty. This is where a transfer bar safety mechanism could be considered superior as it is protecting that firing pin from being struck by the hammer at all times, unless the trigger is pulled.

Second click at half-notch comes up next as you pull the hammer back. This is the notch the hammer is held in that also allows the side loading gate to be released and is where you can load/unload the pistol. Again, trigger remains forward and the quarter-notch safety is still in play if the half-notch safety were to not be engaged properly or was faulty. This is also the point where the cylinder engagement lock is released and the cylinder is allowed to rotate freely.

As you pull back to the approximate three quarter mark the cylinder rotates to line up the next round to be fired and you hear the cylinder lock mechanism click into the cylinder notch to prevent it from rotating (located in an area on the frame above the trigger). This is not a hammer related component and produces a noise, but does not affect hammer retention. The half and quarter-notch safeties are still in play though, should the hammer be released unintentionally and the trigger is not pulled then the hammer should still be prevented from falling on a live round in the cylinder.

Last click and third hammer notch is the fully cocked position. Here the trigger is moved back slightly to engage with the hammer and trigger sear to retain the hammer in a ready to fire position. Depending on the hammer and sear geometry, the final pull of the trigger may be heavy to light. Heavy might be 5-10 ft lbs of force and light might be as little as a pound (often called a hair-trigger). No idea if the gun in question ever had its trigger altered, but I would think the pull from the factory may be in the four to eight range. Higher grade firearms will typically try to get that pull down to around two or three lbs to keep it light and still be positive (meaning that the hammer will still move minutely backwards when pulling the trigger to fire). Typically, the hand work involved to get the trigger geometry and engagement correct is what makes the higher grade pistols more expensive. Again, the half and quarter-notches are still in play if you fumble the hammer while attempting to fully cock the pistol.

All of these safeties are defeated the moment you pull the trigger. Unless there were failed components in the gun that allowed the hammer to drop unhindered when the trigger was still forward, then AB is a trouser arsonist!

Long-barreled rifle? Why is that even in question? Per the courtroom photo of the rifle, it is definitely not an SBR as there is way too much material ahead of the m4 barrel profile cut-out to be less than the minimum required barrel length of 16”. Is there another requirement at the state level more restictive than the federal rifle/pistol length requirements?

    That is correct.

There is a hammer related safety incorporated in most single actions that use a hammer mounted firing pin which I notice has not been mentioned.

In the video linked in the original post showing what is believed to be the exact make and model of firearm used, you can hear the reviewer pull back on the hammer to the half cock position to unlock the loading gate. That is the second click that hammer made when operated. That first click is actually a firing pin stand-off safety, intended to be used as a safety when you need to carry six rounds (such as being armed in bear country where every round you can carry may be essential in saving your life).

This safety is not very robust but does serve a purpose by keeping the firing pin from resting directly against a live primer. If the armorer did not set the hammer in this position before handing the gun to AB and was loaded with six rounds, it certainly could have prevented an AD or ND if the hammer being struck is what resulted in the fatal discharge.

It sounds like the actor pulled the hammer back and fired, but the point is this too is a safety mechanism incorporated into these firearms that may have been ignored in the safe handling of this type of gun.

Spyderco. Have many variants of their knives and one that has been used/carried daily for over 25 years now without any problems. I favor the serrated edge models for the types of things I typically need to cut, but the general trend is plain edge so you should have no problem finding one you can sharpen more easily.

The Dragonfly, Delica, and Endura models (basic lock-backs at different blade lengths) are great choices under $100ea and the VG10 steel is durable, corrosion resistant, yet easy to keep sharp. Don’t think those are 100% USA made (Japan, I think) but I am pretty sure the Paramilitary models are (In Colorado, at a little higher price point). Their Byrd line is their China made line.

Both sashes slide up and down. Notice the weights, rope, and pulleys to counter the weight of each sash.

The photo in questions is showing the upper sash, as the drawing illustrates, is now down and the lower sash is now up. That mostly explains what is different. Not impossible, just different.

Over four years of this crap against Donald Trump. Well over twenty against the citizens of our great nation.

    We see the pattern:
    1) Lie your criminal ass off.
    2) Broadcast it far and wide.
    3) Get every deep state politician, actor, former military leader, favorite RINO, worst presidents ever, etc. to all sing the same song of feigned outrage on every media outlet/forum to try and give the lie validity.
    4) Get your complicit fact-checkers to support the lie with your trumped up evidence.
    5) Discredit any evidence put forward by anyone contradicting the lie with legitimate evidence and ruin them any way possible (preferably publicly and financially).
    6) Get your corrupt judge of choice to force unconstitutional restrictions on any possible action or counter-action he may make.
    7) Use tax payer funds to reward everyone involved.
    8) Assume you’re awesome, untouchable, and ten steps ahead of the dumbest man on the planet even though you have failed every single time.
    9) Arrogantly assume that he is not legally documenting every move you make to use against you in the greatest takedown of the most corrupt organization in human history.

Their last hurrah? We should know soon.
