It's called a penumbra, and liberals see them every where. The school banned discharging fire arms and dueling on campus, so therefore it has to mean that they banned guns on campus totally. And viola! it is seen, so it MUST be!

I readily admit that in 2020, I was at risk of having a heart attack. Other than that, I was extremely healthy. I got Covid in Jan, before it was the cool thing to get. I had the long Covid, cough and such, until Aug, when I had my first heart attack. I had a second one the following Jan. I never got the shot. I realize it’s anecdotal. You’ll have a hard time , though, convincing that getting Covid was not related to if not causing, then being a factor in my heart problems.

So all those foreign nationals who have served honorably in the US military and as LEO (they are out there, I know more than a handful personally) are nothing more than "mercenaries" in your book? I am not necessarily in the habit of being offended on behalf of other people. In this case, I'll make an exception, because some of them are my friends, and deserve better.

Your being a Latina has nothing to do with the situation, why bring it up? Also, what does the amount of time I’ve spent in foreign countries have to with the question at hand? We are not talking about anyone’s ethnicity, and we are not talking foreign countries.

I’ll play the game with you, though. I lived in a foreign country for over a year and traveled through 17 other foreign countries over the course of a decade. I like America, so I’ve stayed home since then. Again, it has nothing to do with the issue so it’s a meaningless point.

The issue is whether someone who is here legally, is willing to do a very unforgiving job(one which just happens to be one that they actually have a hard time finding qualified US citizens to fill positions) and is willing to uphold the Constitution and law should be allowed to be LEO.

Let’s flip the script. Have you ever done LEO work? Do you have family that is LEO? Have you ever done security training or worked in a field where you had to learn about international law to a small extent? Have you ever held a drivers license in someplace other than your home country
(the US doesn’t count if you are a foreign national, they hand them out to anybody here)? These questions have nothing to do with the topic; just thought I’d flex like you tried to do with your opening statement.

OK, I know this is going to get me a lot of hate; not from you per say, but in general. Why shouldn’t non-citizens be allowed to be police officers? If they are here legally and take their oath to uphold the law and Constitution seriously, why not? I’d rather have a non-citizen who is Constitutional minded upholding the law than some LEO who is a citizen and on a power trip violating people’s right willy-nilly. I support LEO, so don’t pretend it doesn’t happen, we all know it does.

It falls in to the category of foreign members of the military. If their allegiance is where it is supposed to be, they are doing the job the way it’s supposed to be done and they weren’t placed there as some sort of quota system, where is the problem?

How about we protest instead? How about we put our money where our mouths are a not cast a vote for the lesser of two evils for a change? We all know how well that's worked out for us. We need to hammer this home. “Gender affirming care” almost always equates to “cutting the genitals off a child”. Well adjusted and mentally healthy adults do not get upset when we say “Hey, don’t show children porn” and “We shouldn’t cut children’s private parts off.”

It might have prevented pneumonia if you took the shot. I took three shots and a lot of Americans took them which reduced the severity of the infection.

OK, serious question. Say Mexico, a foreign power, put money and clandestine operatives in to a state, say California...no New Mexico, and fomented feelings of unrest among the local population. These operatives then fomented the population, which is mostly ethnic Mexican, both legal citizens and illegal immigrants, to begin to demand independence from the United States. While it’s doing this it amasses a sizable military force on the border, which the US can not compete against directly at the time and openly pledges military support, because New Mexico’s ethnic Mexicans deserve their own space. Then Mexican backed seize the New Mexico government and declare a “vote” for independence with full backing of Mexico. Mexican “volunteers” flood in to new Mexico and hand the US military a defeat. This victory comes about solely because of direct intervention of Russian forces. A vast majority of US citizens, across the country are upset with the outcome of the incident and the loss of sovereign US soil.

I don't know if you are serious, or being sarcastic. Either way, the above statement is wrong and apparently you've never heard of the Puckle Gun, the Fergeson Rifle, or the Girandoni air rifle. As rudimentary as they were, all three used some form of magazine to facilitate rapid fire, before the Constitution was ratified and were in use in the America at some point of the other.

Are we really? All it takes is for people to say "NO!" and take a stand. Is the deck stacked or is it just the fact people are not willing to take a stand? There are not enough ATF and FBI agents to confiscate all the guns in the country. Even if they enlisted local law enforcement, they would quickly run out of willing bodies, if gun owners stood up and fought. This is not a government problem, it's a "We the people" problem, and we need to fix it, before we find out if what I say is true.

Well then, it sounds like you DO care if a guy puts on a dress. We shouldn’t shirk from that. Comments like this prove that people miss the point completely. It’s not about the dress. It’s about the tyranny of someone trying to force their subjective reality on to others and insisting that it should be treated as an objective reality. They want to be treated/deferred to in a manner of their own choosing, even when they are not in the room. That’s the behavior of the nobles of old that felt they had a manifest from God to rule over they lowly subjects as they wished.

Stop playing the victim card. You had access to the same exact information that almost every person that decided to not take the shot had. Nobody owes you anything. You made the decision all by yourself.
