BERWICK, Louisiana (WVLA) - A deer hunter captures a spooky image wandering through the Louisiana woods at night. A hunter near Baton Rouge says he found this freaky photo on his deer stand camera. The hunting camera was broken but the memory card was still there and so was this bizarre image. It looks like a cross between a human and an animal, with long slender appendages and glowing eyes. The hunter says he just hopes it's a vegetarian, if he runs into it in the woods again.

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals said a Hispanic field worker died over the weekend of rabies. The victim was initially taken to a hospital in New Roads and transferred to New Orleans, where he later died. Lisa Faust with DHH confirmed the case is the first human death in Louisiana attributed to rabies in more than 60 years. The department reported it has contacted the victim's co-workers and tested them. Health officials are continuing to follow up on their treatment. For a political hopeful in Alabama, it could be the ultimate endorsement -- a show of support from University of Alabama football coach Nick Saban. Bessemer Councilwoman Dorothy Davidson, who is running for mayor of the city, claims she secured Saban's endorsement of her campaign three weeks ago.
