Sunday afternoon there were many Ottawans who may have spoken their first words of Arabic. At the 9/11 memorial service in Washington Square, while "Praying for the World" was read by Rev. Sorry gang and its probably too late but its time we called a spade a spade. Despite all our posts and other rants regarding the bill before Congress, we need to understanding the messages we are sending by still calling it a stimulus plan. This is basic PR stuff and I can't believe we didn't catch this way back at the beginning but it doesn't matter what we say about the plan if we keep calling it a stimulus bill. I think its time we raise a stink about the lack of news coverage regarding the Ice Storm and what appears to be a lack of concern from Obama's administration. Head on over to Fox News website, scroll down to the bottom for the news tip box (lower left) and ask them why they are not raising questions regarding what is being done by the administration to help. Obama seems so intent on getting the porkulus bill passed he's ignoring the emergency and the struggle of regular American's in just getting the basics like WATER! Ok, I'm done for now....
