Glenn Beck is in trouble for mouthing off, again. The Anti-Defamation League slammed the conservative Fox News host for accusing liberal philanthropist George Soros of helping Nazis to send Jews to their deaths during the Holocaust. Beck said on the radio this week that Soros — as a 13-year-old Jewish boy living apart from his parents in Hungary — "used to go around with this anti-Semite and deliver papers to the Jews and confiscate their property and then ship them off. … It was frightening. Here's a Jewish boy helping send the Jews to the death camps."

ABC13.com (11/23/01) — A series of explosions, followed by a fire shake Pasadena residents. There have been two explosions at the Crown Central petroleum plant on 225 and Red Bluff road, just north of Pasadena. The explosion happened at approximately 8pm Friday. A second explosion, described by witnesses to be much larger than the first, followed about 15 minutes later. The area of the plant involved is the LPG, or liquid petroleum gas, unit.  Envelope with white powder delivered to Chris Bell's home By ABC13 Eyewitness News (10/31/01) — Anthrax scares touch the mayors race. Someone apparently sent a letter with a suspicious white powder to City Councilman Chris Bell's wife. The powder in the letter sent to Chris Bell's wife is not anthrax, but police are preforming DNA and fingerprint tests on the letter to try to find out who sent it. Airplane prank lands teens in troubleBy The Associated Press (10/30/01) — Two 17-year-olds were taken into custody Tuesday, suspected of buzzing a junior varsity football game in a Cessna 150 and dropping rolls of paper towels from the aircraft. According to Friendswood police, fans at the game called 911 shortly before 5 p.m. to report suspicious packages being dropped from a plane. The plane landed at nearby Clover Field, where it was met by police. The FBI also was called to investigate. Friendswood is about 20 miles southeast of Houston.
