Journos balk at 'Smith' interview restrictions Legal reps for Angelina Jolie gave journos a jolt during the run-up to "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" with a legal agreement that attempted to set new precedent in the already tense relations between celebs and the press. The agreement, faxed to journos from the law firm Sloane, Offer, Webster & Dern, demanded as a condition of an interview with Jolie that journalists agree to not ask any questions about "personal relationships," that the interview "only be used to promote the picture," and, incredibly, that the interview "not be used in a manner that is...

I believe this is going where vanity stuff should be. Anyway, I was assigned to do a paper on, "who controls the way we think.... which entity plays a key role in forming how society logically interacts" I think it's undeniably the PC crowd. Of course the PC crowd are typically associated with liberals, but how should I go about proving this to the professor that semi-chided me for writing about what a scumbag Clinton is? I dont know if i can go on for four pages about how a stewardess is a flight attendant.

Shuster Committed "Serious Official Misconduct" Thursday, October 5, 2000 WASHINGTON — The House ethics committee said Thursday that Rep. Bud Shuster, chairman of the Transportation Committee, committed "serious official misconduct" through his actions with a lobbyist and his acceptance of improper gifts. But the panel took no action beyond a letter of disapproval. "By your actions, you have brought discredit to the House of Representatives," the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct wrote Shuster, R-Pa., who accepted the letter in a negotiated end to the case. No action will be required by the full House as a result of the ...

We’re the laughing stock of the nation (if not the planet) with this AB 2142 from the Ca State Assembly which grants a whole bunch of legal protections to “CROSS-DRESSERS.”…Some guy with a beard, wearing a dress applies for a job at your company..Yikes..Your kids goes to school and the football coach is wearing a gown. If that isnt bad enough, read on democrats are working up a bill that will give welfare recipients paid vacations, labor bargaining rights and repeal the current five year limit for public assistance. the full Assembly okayed a bill requiring that kids toy guns ...

I just got handed a Census "for the military". Same invasive questions in addition to my duty station, command, MOS (military occupational specialty), do I live on base or not, rank, time served. In this one they only ask for the last 4 of my SSN though. Just like the civilian Census I filled out people in my house but I did put a few of the military quesitons. I didnt enter anything that isnt public though. I turned it back in and got ordered to fill the rest out. Of course I politely( since I dont wanna go to ...
  • Georges integrity?

A body should know by now that unanswered questions regarding character, integrity & (im)moral beliefs have a way of coming back to haunt us big time later on. The questions need to be answered now before we end up regretting our failure to demand the answers now instead of later. Besides, the Bush camp hasn't learned one other valuable lesson from the Clinton Presidential tragedy .
