I have an idea....how about I submit a proposal to CBS News for me to do the Evening News at a mere 1 million per year. But then again, I would have to report conservative stories, and they wouldn't want that. But then again, paying somebody that much just to anchor the news is beyond preposterous. Especially for a medium that many don't even consider a good source for news. Changing the messenger will not help; changing the stories and the tone of the reporting might.

I don't know it I would call it a war, but rather just sheer stupidity. We're not forcing anyone one to celebrate, but those who don't want to celebrate can't change the holiday around to their liking and pretend to celebrate right along with the rest of us. They can take their other "holiday" or whatever, and celebrate it whenever the hell they want, but don't mess with Christmas. Your not going to win. It is highly offensive to this Christian and I won't put up with it well. And certainly don't try to sell something for what it is not, especially to foreigners who came to this Country with no ideas or traditional values of their own.

Then why bother. We're celebrating Christmas, not anything else. Why even bother having a decorating contest if you're not going to call it what it is.

It's because Howard doesn't handle well under pressure. I've seen him broadsided, straight-faced, and left speechless more than once on TV during interviews handling tough questions, and these were with relatively softball interviewers such as Chrissy Matthews and Larry King a-Live. He just can't handle it, and he doesn't want to be left looking like an idiot with his Republican counterpart. I don't think Howard is fit to be a politician and looks like he is ready to blow up on screen at any given moment.

Finally a poll that isn't skewed to make W look bad and that isn't oversampled with liberals and democrats.

Meanwhile gay marriage was banned in Texas, a major stumbling block for democrats, yet this story is hardly heard of anywhere in the major news. Bernard Goldberg could have enough information to write 50 more editions to his book if he wanted to.

Thanks for your comments. It's reassuring to know that most Americans can see right through this media junk and another good reason to see why news networks and print media are losing audience and ratings in record numbers. Stories like this don't help their credibility. It only hurts it more to see stories like this fabricated. This is Mary Mapes all over again, but we're smart enough to see through it.
