These things were all mentioned before the election, we knew that ACORN was simply renamed and probably multiplied in every city in America. There were obvious big money giveaways to the various unions and democrat activists, including the UAW and SEIU, who take taxpayer money and help any democrat campaign they can. Who is investigating this wholesale voter fraud funded by the stimulus?...Holder? And the experts and candidates don't understand what happened!!! Gimme a break

This morning Glen Beck was discussing "what is a Christian" and used the full title of the LDS Church as proof they are Christians, not some whacked out cult based on a modern day "prophet". He also spoke of how Soros thinks of himself as a god. As a disclaimer, every member of that church that I've ever met was a clean living, humble and generous person...but that doesn't make them Christians.

Friend -- One year from today, Democrats from across the country will meet in Charlotte, North Carolina to renominate Barack Obama for President. The 2012 Convention will be different from any that came before it. Friend -- I've been in Washington for almost 40 years. I've seen a lot of Congresses come and go. But I can't remember a group of lawmakers who accomplished more than the folks who just wrapped up their work. With their help, we repealed "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and ratified the START arms control treaty. We passed a new law to rein in the abuses on Wall Street and protect consumers. We reformed the health care system and passed the Recovery Act to get our economy growing again. But do you know why all that happened? Because people like you...

In an uncharacteristic move, Rush Limbaugh has encouraged his vast audience to phone the Congressional switchboard and has given out toll-free phone numbers on the air. He stated he has only done this once before as a demonstration of how many calls it would generate and that he does not do it as a matter of course. Calls to undecided Democrat Congressmen are to urge them to vote against the healthcare bill currently under consideration in the House.

Obama says Iran's energy concerns legitimate By NANCY ZUCKERBROD The Associated Press Tuesday, June 2, 2009 3:40 PM LONDON -- President Barack Obama reiterated that Iran may have some right to nuclear energy _ provided it takes steps to prove its aspirations are peaceful. In a BBC interview broadcast Tuesday, Obama also restated plans to pursue direct diplomacy with Tehran to encourage it to set aside any ambitions for nuclear weapons it might harbor. Iran has insisted its nuclear program is aimed at generating electricity. But the U.S. and other Western governments accuse Tehran of seeking atomic weapons. "Without going...

AUGUSTA — Sen. Arthur Mayo of Bath, newly re-elected to a second term, said Tuesday he had switched his party registration from Republican to Democrat. "It's a change in affiliation. It's not a change in philosophy," said Mayo, whose move across the political aisle boosts the Democratic Senate majority in the new Legislature to 19-16. Characterizing himself as a long-standing "liberal Republican," Mayo said "it has been increasingly difficult in the Senate Republican caucus" for someone with his political philosophy. Mayo said he believed the Republican Senate bloc has "moved to the right" and that at least some of his...

Progressives recognize that it's time for America to resume its glorious journey. Time to look out upon the world for friends, not enemies. Time to tell the world that we wish to be their partner in peace, not their leader in war. Time to recognize that winning hearts and minds comes from dialogue and mutual respect--not from a gun. Time for the greatest military power in the history of this world to act with humility and restraint--not to arrogantly and illegally impose its system and values upon others. Time to recognize that war must truly be the last desperate measure...

They were the usual chatty bunch of teens, catching the last train back to the western 'burbs that would get them home in time for dinner with the family. On any other Saturday in springtime they might have been coming from the mall. But on this day their Abercrombie and Fitch outfits were adorned with buttons and peace stickers. A couple of them had cameras slung around their necks. ``I mean it was a little disappointing,'' chirped one young woman. ``You know in the middle of this die-in, people were on their cell phones. It just didn't seem right, you...

Maine has the distinction of having the highest tax burden in the U.S. We will be having our second annual protest in Portland's Monument Square (Congress Street)on April 29th. We will have a person in a Rat donkey costume, some tax inmates and a fife and drum corps. It should be a blast. Gregg Laugerquist (that's "news" channel 13 for those of us who DON'T watch the local media) was at the Cumberland County Republican meeting the other night and he said that there is a 95% chance it will be covered. “GERMS IN THE WHITE HOUSE” I know you can’t threaten the president, and God knows I would never do that. That would be stupid and crazy and of course, morally wrong, not to mention legally wrong. No one should ever threaten the president. I think it might also be illegal to say that you merely wish him some sort of terrible harm. Some forms of harm, of course, being more illegal to wish than others. You could never, for instance, mention guns or bullets. That would be not only be illegal, it would be wrong and dangerous. And if you ...

This is for discussion purposes only but is a real article. Some of the names have been changed to protect the guilty. ******************************************************** PORTLAND Republicans trudged into Merrill Auditorium for 90 minutes, peeling off coats and slush-covered galoshes. Meanwhile, cops stood in the sleet. Even the birds were grounded. Inside the garage at Gate 13 of Portland Jetport, where President Bush would land in Air Force One, four boxes of Oklahoma-born parakeets sat on the floor. They sang to the Secret Service agents who ordered the driveway plowed wide for their Chevys and waited for their boss. He landed right ...
