Yes, you nailed it.
Seymour WAS great!!
First, he was on channel 9 in LA, then moved over to KTLA, channel 5. He had crappier movies at channel 9, so, in a way, was funnier. I read somewhere his videotaped programs were not kept, but recorded over. Too bad, he really was special!!
Frank Herbert, Dune
Margaret Mitchell, Gone With the Wind
Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy
Alison Weir, British historical fiction;
her series on Henry the 8th’six wives is quite good
Non-fiction, anything by Erik Larson.. The Devil in the White City, Dead Wake, both quite good
I saw this film at a theater when it first was released. I did not know the character of Billy Kwan was played by a woman.. I just thought whomever did the casting found a wonderful unknown local actor for the part. When I watched the credits at the end, and saw the character was played by a woman, I gasped, as did several other viewers!! Linda Hunt earned her Oscar, for sure!
She’s whining the Royals were so concerned about Archie’s skin color, when she clearly straightens her hair, and has had plastic surgery to look more white.
HA!!
I always think of Laurel and Hardy’s classic film, “The Music Box”, as they try to move a piano up a huge flight of stairs. It’s on youtube, I think!!!
For years Our Donald has/had several family members working for the Trump Organization in one capacity or another,so the fact that she doesn’t tells me she’s a sleazoid loser.
Yep, she’ll be dumped by the fake news crowd in short order.
