Center for Disease Control STUDY: TEEN GUN DEATHS HIT NEW HIGH
U.S. teens are killing each other with guns at the highest
rate since the government began recording the deaths 30 years
ago, a new study shows (multi.). Almost 4,200 youths ages 15 to
19 were killed by guns in 1990, or about 11 every day. Lois
Fingerhut, an epidemiologist for the National Center for Health
Statistics: "These are just the deaths. We're not talking about
the kids who are shot and don't die." (Scanlan, PHILA. INQUIRER)
The study, which was done by the federal Centers for Disease
Control, also shows that 25% of all deaths between ages 15 and 24
were the result of shootings. And 39% more teens die from
gunshots than from disease. And while the primary cause of death
for black males ages 10 to 34 was guns, the death rate among
white teens is increasing the most rapidly, according to USA
TODAY (Davis).
Paul Blackman, research coordinator for the National Rifle
Association said: "Those who do their homework, go to church on
Sunday, have proper family upbringing aren't being shot in any
particularly different numbers ... the rise is among those
involved in drug trafficking and other criminal activity."

But the newspaper adds: "That view contrasts sharply" with
a Va. woman's, whose 17-year-old son was shot and killed "after a
series of quarrels with an Eagle Scout." The woman, Byrl
Phillips-Taylor said: "There is a misconception by the general
population that murder happens to others, that the kind of
violence that turns into murder is only by people doing drugs or
one race against another ... The truth is ... it can happen to
your child as easily as it happened to mine." (all cites 3/24)

The reality is that our own leaders are so divided and only interested in their political longevity and not the safety of their country, that I think the sad news will evevtually be seen:

The answer(s) can be found in the Quran. The one that they don't want Americans to read... because it is clear and to the point in that it spells out in multiple chapters how, why, when, and even gives directions on killing Christians and Jews, and Mulsims who "they" consider to be not "true" believers. "Nice" book for a "Nice" religion. I am not implying that all people who read the Quran are evil. But the radicals that do, are many and too numerous to count, and have chosen to fight as they are commanded in their Quran, should not be ignored. Yasser Arafat (Mohammed Yasser Abdul-Ra'ouf Qudwa Al-Husseini) has instructed his followers when he was alive to infiltrate America and devise ways to kill Americans as far back as the late 1960's and 1970's. If you ever have the chance to review the video of his words while the hijacked planes on the tarmac on the "Revoluionary Airport" were sitting, he his heard to make his threats of bringing the war to America in a way we could never imagine, were heard clear as day.

So you can now imagine, WHY, there are so many discontent, Muslims in the States.

Note again: if they will kill their own children or family members, they will not think twice about striking here in the states and killing our children. They do want us dead, and they will attempt to do just that here in our community.

We can not and must not assume it won't happen here, and we must be vigilent to protect ourselves and our neighbors.

They stated they would do what they have done over 30 years ago, and it's painfully clear that they will not stop until they do.

If you begin to understand what the Islamabad's are trying to convey whenever they make a threat such as this, you will begin to learn that they will never really understand the way we think, nor the way we will eventually completely and wholly smash their existence back to the soup where they originally came from.

Even those I deal with in my community exhibit a sort of total misunderstanding of our ways. They usually try to be "learned" by using a predetermined phrase over and over (e.g. good morning, how are you doing, over and over, never changing their introduction, even when the circumstances call for it) and they will then make their demands, like I want this item, I want it now... and when you try to explain in a polite way, they simply ignore you and make their demands again, and again.

They are taught from the start that all Americans are timid and easily influenced to act in any way they want you to. When they realize that this is not the case, they are dumbfounded and begin to make statements or threats that make no sense. They then reveal their real thoughts: THEY HATE US AND WANT US DEAD. If you are unaware of this, just take a cab ride from Dulles to Reagan Airport a couple of times, the scene and play acting is always the same. I actually forced one Islamic taxi driver to stop when it was obvious his breaks did not work right, and he was furious when I told him I didn't want to ride in his cab anymore. He was making comments and yelling words that were quite offensive. I probably would have been hurt less for the fact that I take full advantage of my CWP.

We know you are here, we know you want us dead, and we know you are waiting for the time to strike, but you forget or have never learned, we waiting for the time to strike, too!

Believe me, I am not a bigoted hateful person. I just see the facts for what they are. THEY REALLY DO WANT US DEAD! If these animals will kill their own children, they do not give a damn over any American man, women or child! If we chose to ignore this fact, we will lose. It's not a win or lose situation, it's live or die.

Remember the game, Paper, rock, scissors? Now it is: Terrorists, Gun, bigger Gun! It's the only way to win this war, and it is a war. We have to have a bigger gun because paperwork and diplomacy will not work with terrorists. Why do you think Arafat was murdered by his own?

Close, but the motive I see is actually a move in reaction to the new Government Prescription Plan. In order to get their drug used, they have agreed to lower the price (deal) or they get nothing.

Same thing happened when the Government got "involved" with health-care: Medicare and Medicaid. Doctors agreed to accepting much (much, much, much) lower payments for their services so they could get paid something (anything) for their services. This is why many doctors are now NOT accepting Government Patients... because when you do, you have to accept the lower payments or face the consequences.

Fun, isn't it. Not so free anymore. Liberty is dying, and we sit by and watch it die.

I like your post. But sadly, that's precisely what the medical profession has already realized. My brother is a physician, and his prices are decided and FIXED by the Government... have been for years.

The drug companies will be next. That's what happens after the government gets involved i.e. the Gov Prescription Plan is just the start...

The last day of the conference is very revealing, and not for the light hearted. The "homegrown" war hasn't even been realized by the media yet. The worst is yet to come. Very, very evil people about to do very, very evil acts. PS Yes the Video is a bit pricey... maybe CSPAN can be asked to show the series again. You won't believe your eyes or ears.

I submit that everyone should get a copy of a Koran and read it. A friend gave me a copy that was obtained in Saudi Arabia, and not intended to be sold or distributed in USA... written and read from right to left with Arabic verse and English translation verbatim.

I was shocked to read verses that explain not only that the Jews and Christians have to be killed in many verses, but it goes on to explain how and when killings should take place... a true recipe book for murder. Not a peaceful book at all.

Regrading: why they hadn’t informed Muslim leaders about the plot, so that those leaders could have stopped it.
