Quit projecting you sad bullshit on me. You don’t know it will save any lives either, but it will make us more of a police state and enrich the government coffers.

I know that it will probably save no real lives but make us a police state as they rush out to enforce the new law and write tickets for cash.

My mother was killed by a drunk driver who almost killed our family and put all of us in the hospital when I was a kid. I also do not drink.

However, I also don’t want to punish the rest of America with police state tactics to avenge my mother either.

Had similar experiences past few years myself.

I can give a bettercomkparison. Back around 1981, I spent a year more or less as a bum. I went to college for a semester and not having money for the next semester lived off $187.50 a month Social Security check.

This paid my rent and electricity bills. For food, I sold blood plasma for $15 a week and lived off $2.00 a day food plan. For me, this was usually 2 boxes of mac and cheese and a 2 liter Pepsi.

I lived like this for several months, with brief periods of real food when I visited parents back 300 miles away or occassional work.

I finally moved back home with my parents after a year and got a real job and left this bumming behind me.

This airhead has no clue what it is like to live EVERY freaking day on almost no money and scrounging around for it. Have him pick up trash or do meanial work for a few hours or sell blood plasma like I did to really get the “feel” of what it is like.

I swear liberals just love to feel others pain while not every doing anything real to solve them, other than spend tax dollars to make themselves feel better about themselves.

This whole “$1.50 a day” nonsense is only a fell-good exercise by liberals. First of all, they know they are going to get extra snacks and also they know the exercise will end in five days.

The real poor live like this for real and there is no end. The light from the tunnel, so to speak. A never-ending search for food to keep from starving.

Their little ploy only serves to make them feel better about themselves and does nothing to solve real hunger issues.

Perry wasn’t the nominee cause he said we were heartless not to want to give amnesty to illegals and because he has less debating skills than most 4th graders.

I live in the South and would love to cast away the northern deadwood.

I am a big fan of paying cash now, but have to agree with you on this. We bought new cars in 2005 when they had the 0% interest. Cars are now paid for and I am not looking to get into more debt if it can be avoided.

I had people then telling me that 0% was a bad idea and I was getting “took”. Not sure what they were smoking.

I agree. I used to feel that way till I had to make a $3000 payment on Apr 15, with money I didn’t have.

I have extra taken out my check each week now and some years, I get some back and then some years I get a lot. Interest in the bank is so low (but their fees are high), so I get my lump sum check from Uncle Sam and make plans then.

Didn’t the NRA support this guy? When are they going to learn, a democrat will screw you.

It said earlier they called for help then their cell phones died.

If either of them had a simple solar charger (costs around $25), they could have been rescued before almost dying. They weight almost nothing and are the size of a small smartphone.

Got a clothes line in our front yard under the carport and we put our garbage out the night before and no one says $hit to us. I may live in the hood but I am more free than most upscale people who seek permission on how to use their own property.

I live in the ‘hood and here we can do what we want for the most part without silly nosey neighbors busybodies.

I would rather live here than in those upscale hoods who think everyone is supposed to enhance their resale price by seeking permission to do anything on their own property.

I bet 25% having their house paid off is too high in today’s economy. The number of people in the 60’s whose finances are totally $hit is astounding. Most with good paying jobs but broker than dick.

You are right. They try to squeeze every penny too tight and it is driving off shoppers. Standing in line for 30 minutes, out of standard items, dirty stores, etc..

I go to Dollar Tree about once every two or three months and I end up spending $40-$50 every time. Plenty of stuff there cheaper than WalMart without all the fuss.

My wife does the shopping and the superstores were convient one stop shopping. Now she dreads going there almost as much as me.

I HATE self checkouts and REFUSE to use them. Everytime I try, something errors and I have to wait on the clerk to fix. Usually a weight thing or odd sized item (of which there are many in a hardware store).

WalMart has understaffed the registers for at least 10 years. Obamacare has nothing to do with it, but I do expect it to get worse. 25 registers and never more than 4 open, that;s the WalMart way.

I feel the same as you. Even my wife, a true die hard WalMart fan has cut back to twice a month now and shopping more elsewhere.

But I am sure plenty of freepers will be here to say this is just an attack on WalMart by unions or somesuch boogieman instead of admitting it is becoming a trend from them.
