I was sick to my stomach so many times watching the hearings yesterday... I could write a book on how hopeless I feel about the mess in which our country finds itself. To think that attack happened and we’ve done NOTHING about it, makes me the most sick. To me, these lies and cover up are nothing less than impeachable offenses, not to mention treasonable and criminal. And what makes me even more sick is that the Obama administration is going to walk free.

We give up our rights so easily... just to whit... on the day of the bombing, cell phones were shut down. While I understand the safety slant, but doesn’t that bother anyone but me? I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but I’m sure “someone” is taking close note as to how well this shutdown and search worked. And no worries about facing resistance... gun control and all that.

I so agree they already know who did it! But we never will... it will all fade away just like Benghazi because it is just way too inconvenient an enemy. Unless of course, it does happen to be some “right wing nut” they can blame it on, then we will never hear the end of it! Yes, exactly... parents teach values. They still do, really. It’s a question of what values do they teach. TV only reflects and reinforces the social values of the time. I’m an adult and there are no small children in my house, so I do enjoy some TV! I can actually watch a show and disagree with the point of view and still enjoy the show. But that’s just me... didn’t have TV until I was 8 so I guess it’s always been a fascination.

I so agree with you... runners have 1 goal in sight, that finish line! I know when I really concentrate on things, whatever is going on around me is a blur. I cannot even begin to criticize the runners in this. Now those looters, that’s a different story, but we live in a very immoral world and for most people this is SOP and they don’t even consider it theft but just “oh well”.

I am so sorry for the employees... and I do apologize to all of you. I’m afraid I vented my displeasure to a saleswoman too. I guess she was just a face to face target. It is upsetting to all of us who loved the store. Sad to see.

No more jcp for me. It was the one place I could easily find clothes to fit as I am short. Loved the prices and the quality... loved St. John’s Bay and it always seemed like a good middle class family store. Now with the gay agenda, “shops” and the cheesy store brand who can even tell who they are. The store in my neck of the woods is empty. I head to Belks now and find everything I want plus amazing sales! Without the agenda. Who the heck needs politics when all you want is a good day shopping!

I was explaining to my grandson why owning a home was better than renting. Well, somehow the benefits of home ownership are dwindling—negative equity being at the top of the list and now losing the mortgage interest deduction. Hummmmm take away the proterty taxes, mortgage insurance, home insurance, upkeep expenditures and compare it to the low rentals in areas close to me, I’m seriously beginning to wonder why the heck I’m doing this!!!

I am so blessed... most of my family is conservative and the ones who aren’t won’t be dining with us. In our family we have ONE married couple who are liberal, but more middle of the roaders. So politics around our table are rather boring with everyone in agreement.

Totally agree verga... THIS was the important election. What is going to be done in the next 4 years is going to be more than heartbreaking. 2 Supreme Court justices??? And it will be nearly impossible to undo the harm done.

I for one am tired of holding my nose and voting for the party. This was the last time for me. I’ll vote the state candidates, but a RINO president, never again.
