Wow, I never thought I would see the day that someone would actually stand up against this junk. My hope has been renewed a little. Conservative southern white Christian males have long been the most hated people on the planet. We are the last group that is still politically correct to hate and ridicule. Racism is racism not matter who the subject is. The other thing that bothers me is every white/black/asian male on TV, be it commercials or shows, is portrayed as an incompetent fool that women must treat as a child. When the shoe is on the other foot we never hear the end of it.

On Friday, 15 June 2007 at 7:00 p.m. the 1345th Unit from the Oklahoma National Guard returned from a year’s deployment in Iraq. The cities of Del City and Midwest City, in conjunction with the Army National Guard, the Del City Chamber of Commerce, and the Midwest City Chamber of Commerce hosted a homecoming event for the Unit. The troops were on chartered buses, escorted by Del City and Midwest City Police and Fire units, along with Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Oklahoma City Police, and the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s office. In addition, the troops were escorted by elements of the Patriot Guards motorcycle units. I got a few photos from our little part of the three-and-a-half mile parade.

Beyond the obvious problem with her travel I think it’s odd that she needs permission. I went back and forth there with VERY little scrutiny. Buy a ticket, get on the boat, ta-da you’re there!

Why all the negativity about Oklahoma? I’ve traveled to many States and Countries and came back to Oklahoma. I think it’s a great place to live. I enjoy outdoor recreation though, maybe that’s the difference. I will say that I have a lot more opportunities for fun then when I was in LA or NYC. Plus the people are friendly and right minded.

And hey, at lease we’re not Arkansas.

Silly argument, Exxon is huge and their profit percentage was actually a little low. They just deal in very large quantity. But they create jobs and pay taxes. So that is $40 billion after taxes right?

How much did the “undocumented” immigrants pay? How many jobs did they create for Americans?

Many bird dogs have webbed feet, love water, and point by instinct. This was bred into them. Breeders did the same thing with pit fighting dogs. Their instincts are to be aggressive, fight, and kill.

I feel that I should not be forced to make those decisions about animals in a suburban neighborhood. What happens if no one is there to defend a child? Shouldn’t kids be able to go outside and play without fear of animal attacks? When these dogs get out of their enclosures, as the often do, they defend their territory as you say. What if a child wonders into that unfenced yard, as children do when they play?

I’ve been attacked before and the owner was nowhere around. Nothing happened to the owners and I was the bad guy for making the city take their sweet angle away. As I got older my brother couldn’t even go outside alone because another neighbor got a “harmless” dog that wouldn’t stay in their backyard. It’s sad when you have to walk your family out to the car with a loaded pistol pointed at a growling Rottweiler standing in your yard. It took the city months to finally haul that one away. Thank God everyone kept their children locked in their houses. So you guys are saying that I should just deal with it and not make a fuss huh?

Associating my argument to gun control is a logical fallacy. Nice effort though.

A dog is a living being with senses and responds to stimuli. My gun does not.

Ridiculous! A gun can not roam around on its own and kill defenseless people. The dogs should be destroyed and the owners thrown into a cage for a very long time!

Pitbulls should not be allowed in populated areas. It is absurd to argue otherwise. I know, you probably know one that is a sweet little teddy bear. That’s what all pitbull owners claim. It is odd how these angles have mauled children to death time and time again. Then the owners have the audacity to blame the victim and say the dog must have been antagonized. I’m for very harsh penalties for any owner of a vicious dog that attacks a person.

There is no parental notification before the play this?
