yesterday, a friend who works in an IT department described an interesting action by gmail. i had another friend test and confirm the action. those of you who are on gmail, check this out. create a new mail. in subject, put 'here it is'. in body of message, put 'see attachment'. don't attach anything. hit send. instead of sending the message, gmail will pop up a window saying: 'Do you mean to attach files? You wrote "see attachment" in your message, but there are no files attached. Send anyway?'

NAUGATUCK, Conn. -- A license inspector for the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles has been charged with persuading a woman to strip off some of her clothing in exchange for passing her driver's test. Kevin Chagnon, 48, allegedly took advantage of a woman in her 20s who had failed her driver's test several times in the past, police said. I just heard about 45 minutes ago, on abc WTVD-TV Raleigh/Durham, channel 11 that one of the terrorists was employeed at Heathrow and had an "all access" pass, presumably at that airport. Has anyone else heard this?
