Lyssie went to the beach today and while swimming, she cut herself on something in the water. The cut was down to the bone in her leg. I am getting this information 2nd hand from my sister. My fur baby died today. She was 10 1/2 years old. Vet thinks it was her liver. She was hemoraging when I got a call to come home from work. She was laying right where she would be on a regular nite to greet me. Only today, she was waiting for me to come home and say goodbye. 15 minutes later she was gone. Ambulance came 5 minutes later. The are also going to xray her abdomen, due to her liver counts being on the high side. Doc thinks the liver is not serious due to symptoms displayed, but will do xray while she is under. Military is denying it saying she is not loco parentis. On top of that nobody knows how to do the paper work. My son is her baby (30 Year Old Marine) and she is all she wants. FReepers, I need your prayers desparately. My mom is going in today for a biopsy for Pancreatic Cancer. She has been losing weight, no appetite etc., which we all attributed (doctor included) with worry over my son being in Iraq. After losing 30 lbs in 2 months her docs sent her for more tests and this has showed up. She has a 1 inch tumor in the pancreas and the doctor has basically said today will be confirmation. She is terified needless to say. She says she is ok with dying but the pain is what she is most afraid...
