Obama gift-wrapped Libya to al-Qaida

Documents obtained by former Muslim Brotherhood member Walid Shoebat reportedly demonstrate the Obama administration is to blame for the deaths of Americans in the Benghazi consulate attack because it effectively empowered the Islamic terrorist organization al-Qaida to take over governance of Libya.

Shoebat reports a group of anti-al-Qaida Libyans in exile have come into possession of some highly classified documents that, in their view, “will bring the Obama Administration down.”

“Obama gift-wrapped Libya, handed it over to al-Qaida,” the group asserts, “and we can prove it.”

The group has already provided the copy of a letter that, as WND reported, suggests the Obama administration approved assigning a member of al-Qaida to handle security at the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli.

WASHINGTON, Nov. 2 (UPI) — The CIA was the real commanding agency at the attacked U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, not the State Department, senior U.S. intelligence officials said.

In addition, two of the four men who died in the Sept. 11 attack — former Navy SEAL commandos Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty — were actually CIA contractors killed defending the mission, not State Department contract security officers, as originally publicly identified, the officials told several news organizations on condition of anonymity.

The new information does not address the Obama administration’s various depictions of whether the assault was a protest that turned violent or a planned terrorist attack. But the officials reiterated early intelligence was patchy and often contradictory. They said talking points for members of Congress and senior administration officials did not at first discuss possible links between the attackers and al-Qaida because the information was classified.

“It wasn’t until after the points were used in public that people reconciled contradictory information and assessed there probably wasn’t a protest around the time of the attack,” a senior U.S. intelligence official said in a statement.

Congressional investigators say it appears the CIA and State Department weren’t on the same page about their respective security roles at the consulate, which the Journal said raised questions about whether the Benghazi security arrangement was flawed.

Charles Woods, father of Tyrone Woods, the former SEAL who bravely disobeyed orders to “stand down” and instead rushed to help and was killed in Libya, said: “Those people who made the decision and who knew about the decision and lied about it are murderers of my son. I wish that the leadership in the White House had the same level of moral courage and heroism that my son displayed.”” Woods said shaking Obama’s hand was “like shaking hands with a dead fish. “He kind of just mumbled, you know, I’m sorry.’ His face was looking at me, but his eyes were looking over my shoulder like he could not look me in the eye. And it was not a sincere, ‘’I'm really sorry, you know, that your son died’, but it was totally insincere.”

Sending troops to Libya would conflict with Obama’s campaign message of “ending wars” and withdrawing troops from around the world. To “win” on this issue, he wanted to avoid deploying troops to Libya AND he needed to make it sound like terrorist groups were weak enough that deploying troops would no longer be necessary around the world. Hence, that leads to the White House trying to spin that this was a “spontaneous” riot which could not have been predicted and has no connection to organized terrorism.

Yesterday, Obama said: “The election has nothing to do with the four brave Americans getting killed and us wanting to find out exactly what happened.”
