Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is officially launching her personal private jet, even allowing reporters to ride with her on the trip to Cleveland, Ohio. Several photos and details of the plane quickly dubbed “Hill Force One” were revealed by reporters as they waited to board the flight. The plane is a 14-year-old Boeing 737 that used to fly for Air Berlin, OrenAir and Corendon Dutch Airlines, according to CNN’s Dan Merica. The plane is separated into four cabins, one for Clinton, one for staff, one for the Secret Service and one for the press. The media have more than...

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton knew that she was not allowed to use mobile devices in her office — so she would walk onto the 8th floor balcony of the State Department building to check her email messages, new FBI documents reveal. Clinton’s office was located in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), where mobile devices were not allowed. “According to [Huma] Abedin, Clinton primarily used her personal BlackBerry or personal iPad for checking emails, and she left the SCIF to do so, often visiting State’s eighth floor balcony,” the FBI investigation noted. The 8th floor is at the...

(REUTERS) Hillary Clinton told the FBI she did not recall all the briefings she received on handling sensitive information as she made the transition from her post as U.S. secretary of state, due to a concussion suffered in 2012, according to a report released Friday. (snip) “However, in December of 2012, Clinton suffered a concussion and then around the New Year had a blood clot (in her head). Based on her doctor’s advice, she could only work at State for a few hours a day and could not recall every briefing she received,” the report said.

The FBI on Friday released a detailed report on its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server, including the summary of its three-hour interview with the former secretary of State. The report totals 58 pages, although large sections have been redacted. In July, FBI Director James Comey announced that he did not recommend charging Clinton with willfully mishandling classified information. While Comey called the former secretary of State “extremely careless” for using the server, he repeatedly said that “no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.” The documents have been a hot commodity on Capitol Hill, where...

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Thursday refuted claims that Democratic campaign memos, leaked this week by a hacker group, originated from her personal computer. The story can't be true, her office said, because Pelosi doesn't have a personal computer at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) headquarters, which was infiltrated earlier this summer by hackers thought to be tied to Russian intelligence. Pelosi has long warned that the hackers, who also tapped into files held by the Democratic National Committee, were attempting to sway the outcome of November's elections by embarrassing Democrats with a slow drip of leaked...

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been wearing an interesting pair of socks during practice. Kaepernick ignited a nationwide debate last Friday when he chose to sit during the national anthem at a home pre-season game in San Francisco. CBS Sports and a handful of Twitter users noticed that Kaepernick has been wearing practice socks that depict little cartoon police officers as pigs:

Bill Clinton's staff used a decades-old federal government program, originally created to keep former presidents out of the poorhouse, to subsidize his family’s foundation and an associated business, and to support his wife’s private email server, a POLITICO investigation has found. Taxpayer cash was used to buy IT equipment — including servers — housed at the Clinton Foundation, and also to supplement the pay and benefits of several aides now at the center of the email and cash-for-access scandals dogging Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Hillary Clinton continued sending classified information even after leaving the State Department, The Post has exclusively learned. On May 28, 2013, months after stepping down as secretary of state, Clinton sent an email to a group of diplomats and top aides about the “123 Deal” with the United Arab Emirates.

The FBI has uncovered evidence that foreign hackers penetrated two state election databases in recent weeks, prompting the bureau to warn election officials across the country to take new steps to enhance the security of their computer systems, according to federal and state law enforcement officials. The FBI warning, contained in a “flash” alert from the FBI’s Cyber Division, a copy of which was obtained by Yahoo News, comes amid heightened concerns among U.S. intelligence officials about the possibility of cyberintrusions, potentially by Russian state-sponsored hackers, aimed at disrupting the November elections. Those concerns prompted Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson...

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. economy expanded at a sluggish pace this spring as businesses sharply reduced their stockpiles of goods and spent less on new buildings and equipment. The Commerce Department said Friday that gross domestic product, the broadest measure of the economy, increased at an annual rate of 1.1 percent in the April-June quarter. That is slightly below its previous estimate last month of 1.2 percent growth.

In 2010, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton fondly eulogized Sen. Robert Byrd, a former member and recruiter for the Ku Klux Klan. Clinton called Byrd “my friend and mentor” in a video message to commemorate his passing. As a young man in West Virginia, Byrd was involved in the KKK and reportedly recruited 150 members to the group. While serving in Congress, Byrd set the record for longest filibuster on the floor of the U.S. Senate with a 14-hour filibuster of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. In a 2005 article titled “A Senator’s Shame,” the Washington Post’s Eric Pianin pilloried...

Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson has the support of 12 percent of registered voters, and Green Party nominee Jill Stein is backed by 4 percent. Edward-Isaac Dovere writes in Politico that President Obama is eschewing any appearance at the final annual meeting of the scandal-plagued Clinton Global Initiative. The Clinton Global Initiative is shutting down, but President Barack Obama won’t be there to say farewell. Though Obama will be in New York the week in mid-September, he’s skipping an appearance at the annual— and final — meeting of Bill Clinton’s post-presidential project, which brought together business and world leaders for the last 12 years. Obama attended for either a speech or other event every year for the first six of his presidency until 2015, following...

Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Democratic strategist and long-time Clinton booster James Carville criticized those who call into question the dealing of the Clinton Foundation under Bill and Hillary Clinton because of potential conflicts of interest. Carville argued the pros outweighed the cons when it came to the Clinton Foundation raising money given the Clintons’ circumstances. “Look, the good would be that we wouldn’t be gabbing about it here,” Carville said. “The bad would be that we would be out hundreds of millions of dollars that are doing good. What the Clinton Foundation does is it takes money from rich...
