As a non-Catholic, does the Pope really care what my opinion is regarding the Catholic Churchs position on birth control?

Yet Liberals spout on. The Pope isn’t suggesting anything related to birth-control to liberals. It is the other way around. Always has been.

Ok... as a non-liberal, gun owner, does (CO Gov.) Hickenlooper really care what my opinion is regarding the 2 bills on gun-control in my state?

Keep in mind, I live in Colorado and have for a long, long time. Keep in mind the Colorado legistators supposedly ‘represent’ me.

Non-catholics can ignore the Pope and have since Pope #1 put on the hat. No big deal. What happens if I ignore a liberal Governor who wants to limit the size of my clip?

I heard an analogy on the radio this morning that explains BHO's performance last night perfectly:

Obama is a bully and last night Mitt found the bully alone and stood up to him...called him out for his lies...pushed back and made it clear the bully was done. Even Obama got the message and looked down most of the night in his shame. He tried a couple times to repeat the standard lines, all of which fell flat or got thrown back in his face.

When Obama has a teleprompter, he is able to deliver a decent speech. When he is surrounded by adoring admirers, he is confident. When he is on his own, the sitting POTUS is marginal and weak.

I stand by my tag line, but suspect I will be changing it soon. Mitt not only man-handled Obama last night, he revealed him.

Oh, and Al Gore is an idiot.

That is bang on and people either see it or they don’t. Stunned how many people don’t care or see any difference.

This Wednesday from ~5pm till 10pm, they will be shutting down several miles of I-25 for the debates here in Denver. This is going to cause an unbelievable amount of traffic as that section of I-25 is VERY heavily traveled at that hour.

To really travel like a President, it is not enough to just spend huge amounts of money. You have to inconvenience 10’s of thousands of people, just by being there.

Off hand, I'd say a couple of very young, over zealous police who had no idea how to handle a basic defense of civil rights. Why they chose to escalate rather than simply talk to the guy is beyond me. Once it started going bad, they lacked the experience to back off. Jaywalking doesn't justify all of this, but once started, they couldn't back up.

This last weekend I was in a downtown bar checking ID’s at the door. Because I'm fairly large and was standing by the door looking at people as they came in, the assumption was I was working. I was not. I was just screwing around and met a lot of nice people. And no, I didn't charge a cover fee, though I clearly could have.

Dumb question....but how could a Union possibly up the fees for “non-members”? Clearly I have under estimated their reach.

Over her very long career, I wonder how many times she has used her position like this and not been caught? I wonder how many times, in how many little ways, her obvious bias and willingness to compromise the interests of this country, have caused her to alter they way she reports the news?

I would submit that with the recent blood bath in Syria, Barbara Walters has some blood on her hands. If ABC wasn’t as guilty, I would expect them to quietly retire her.

My High School aged son has a business class with his football coach, who, to say the least, is out spoken. This year the coach has repeated an interesting phrase to the class which my son brought home: “You guys have your heads so far up your butt you don't have a clue what is really going on outside this building.”

I've encouraged my son to take more of his classes and just printed this article to take home. Spot-on.

Many kids today are actually pretty bright. The problem is they ALL think they are so utterly brilliant that they are just a couple of quickly put together rap songs away from a sweet crib and pimped out ride.

Until we tax-payers stand up and say ‘enough’, we can expect more and more of this, and worse. So far, being an optimst, I think there might be as high as 2% of the US population that sees this as a problem.

As much as I might enjoy blaming Obama for this and the Sec. Service stuff, I think to do so implies that it will all stop when he's out of office and I don't think it will. This is a Washington problem. This is a Federal Government problem that is bigger than party.

The sense of ‘entitlement’ isn't just a Dem problem, it is a Federal Government problem.

That said, Obama absolutely embodies that attitude and arrogance which is at the heart of this mess.

The parallel I was trying to make was that both Rosen and Rush had something stupid come out of their mouths recently and both have issued apologies. Using the treatment Rush was given post-apology as an example, how should Rosen now be treated?... No big deal.

These kinds of stories increasingly annoy me. What parent sends their kid off to a priviate school to get a degree that typically leads to jobs that don’t pay well? A state college would have cost half that amount. If mommy and daddy have the $$$ to support this, great! I have no problem with that what-so-ever. If they don’t, then why in the @#$% would you go to a college that costs $40K/year?

Had the ‘kid’ done even a basic study of expected salaries and done some simple math regarding tuition, this situation would have easily been avoided, or accepted, quietly.

Now they will whine to the Gov’t who will find a why to shift this mistake on to the tax payers... which will BREED MORE OF THE SAME PROBLEM! When mistakes have no consequence, we don’t learn. When the gov’t constantly saves us from our own mistakes, we don’t learn.

BTW, I have 2 10th graders. We are already having the obvious converstaions to avoid exactly this problem. This is simple reality. My kids will know the situation going into it: you’re starting with this many $$’s... choose wisely.

There has to be a better way to push back on this B.S., aside from throwing eggs. I have no qualms about someone doing VERY well for themselves and their family if they have done so honesty, as most have. The fact that others have not done well is typically directly do to THEIR lack of effort or talent... Wow. The Founders were an amazing group of people. It is alway amazing to me to see 200+ year old words cut right through the B.S. and identify a specific area where we have failed to follow their wisdom only to RE PROVE them right.

I’m not 100% “sure”. Nor would I be 100% sure that ANY of the candidates would be better. There is no one that would put me in the Romney camp, but, IMO, Mitt would be a less damaging POTUS then Obama. Given the choice, the less of the two evils gets the vote.

Goal #1: Get Zero OUT!

If push comes to shove I will do the right thing and vote for Mitt... but until then, I would love to see Newt take this one big.

She was just a scape-goat, sent by her masters to be fried alive. Sad, but that naive girl will be all the wiser for her time there and should quickly recover hopefully in time to consider her poor choices that got her into the horrible situation.
