  • Tebow’s Freeze Out

What nobody mentions is that even with flawed mechanics, and only 82 passes in his NFL career after one season, Tebow in 2011 threw just 6 interceptions in 318 passes, and three of those were in a 12-minute stretch when Denver was already more than a touchdown behind in the late going of a game at Buffalo. Just as impressive, he was right near or at the top of the NFL in yards per completion, and his yards per attempt were very high. He was able to do this even though John Fox had him passing only, essentially, when the opponent knew he’d be passing — he’d almost never have Tebow throw on first down or when Denver was tied or ahead. Add in the element of being a superb runner with the ball, and Tebow was borderline great in making Denver into a successful team that season, after the Broncos had lost 25 of their previous 32 games. And, now quarterback experts who worked with him say the mechanics of his throwing have been solved by fixing his footwork. He is being black-balled from the league. I am confident, though, that God has a greater calling and purpose for Tebow, whether it has anything to do with football or not.

If Michael Medved can not see that Obama is a Marxist, he should retire. He’s right about most things, but for my taste, he simply thinks he’s too smart. He also occasionally gave the Clintons the benefit of the doubt, not understanding that they, too, like this Marxist narcissist now in the White House, want to transform this country into their image, as Hillary so stated 20 years ago.

Republicans did as good as they could, in this environment, where a shameful media enables, empowers and emboldens a Marxist president, and demonizes anyone and anything that tries to stand in his way. The circumstances put the republicans in a no-win situation. The question now is, when the economy folds even more, can the media combine with the Marxist to continue to successfully put the blame on Bush, who basically lost power in Nov., 2006, when the Communists won both the Senate and the House?

Not surprised, but I’m almost speechless, even as I have long understood that this country has been trending towards communism - yes, communism, which couldn’t proceed under its own banner in this country, and thus had to infiltrate the education system, media, “entertainment” industry and, infiltrate one of the two major political parties.

Absolutely agree with you. The problem is spiritual. The nation has been in open and proud defiance of the Holy God of the Bible. We don’t know His timing but we do know He will not be mocked. We need to be on our knees individually and collectively, in repentance for the sin we have committed against Him. The slaughter of the unborn, the glorification of perverted sex, both in utter defiance of his Word and the teachings of His Son, Jesus Christ. Much more sin, including the idolatry we have for sports, entertainment, etc., things that are fine maybe when kept in perspective, but become idolatrous for us when we invest so much time and attention in them, more than we do into our personal relationships with God Himself. Even we (all of us being sinners) who maybe haven’t been directly involved in a specific abomination such as abortion or homosexuality have been guilty at one time or another of enabling it by our silence, worried more about being popular with man than pleasing to God. (Please do remember, for those who have been involved in such sin, that - as in the case of all we sinners - forgiveness is available through Jesus Christ) Repentance must begin among we believers in Jesus Christ, and it must begin now, beginning with each of us individually. And, we must be open to the leading of God’s Holy Spirit, as to how we be used in the advancement of His Kingdom. I pray for God to help us, for the sake of our children and their families, for our own sake, but moreso, for His Honor and Glory.

“Old white guys” dying is more than offset by the fact that conservatives have had more childen than liberals for how many decades now? At least since the killing of the unborn became a “right” in 1973. It’s fact. So many liberals have their children killed in the womb. Other liberals can’t have babies (except artificially inseminated) because they have “sex” with members of their own sex.

How many fewer people voted in the storm-hit areas? If there wasn’t a fall-off of more than 3 or 4 million votes cast in those states, I suspect some fraud that took away Romney votes instead of what we are most often concerned about — adding democrat votes. I’m not a conspiracist, but the way things are going in this country, and with a thug as the attorney general, I am legitimately concerned that there was some of that.

Rove said today something that is consistent with what he’s been tracking in Ohio. He said that as of two days ago, I believe, democrat early voting was 187,000 below what it was in 2008, and that republican voting was up 75,000. That’s a swing of, theoretically, 262,000. Obama won Ohio by 260,000, maybe 263,000. So, if Rove’s numbers are true, and I have no idea why they wouldn’t be — because that’s numbers available to him, I think, and not from polling — Romney is in very good shape in Ohio.....even McCain got tens of thousands more votes on election day in Ohio than did Obama.

You’re right about the problems Bush inherited. He also inherited the “Wall” created by Clinton, Janet Reno and Jamie Gorelick, that didn’t allow communication between our intelligence and law enforcement communities — because those naive liberals amazingly believed in things like arresting Bin Laden and putting him on trial. They didn’t want to jeopardize the hypothetical trial. What a joke. That bizarre type of thinking is what allowed the planning and eventual terrorist event of 9-11. Bush had so much to put back together in intelligence, national security, etc., in the wake of a Clinton presidency that had committed treasonous crimes, such as trading nuclear missile technology to China for campaign money.

Economy under W. Bush was fine until the democrat socialists took over both the Senate and House due to the Nov., 2006 election. Bush was basically stripped of any power, even moreso than other presidents who in their 7th and 8th years in the White House faced both the Senate and House in the opposition party hands. Check the economic numbers before the Nov. 2006 election and also remember that while Bush was trying to better regulate Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the democrat socialists were pushing on us Jimmy Carter’s “Community Re-Investment Act.” ..... And with W, our allies were confident in us and trusted us, and our enemies or potential enemies knew that Bush believed in defending ourselves and our allies. ... Like any president or any man, W was flawed. But he had America’s best interests at heart, and under relentless siege from a media and opposition party intent every day on ruining him, he kept a quiet and humble dignity that is totally absent in the current Oval Office occupier.

I work for a major (though fading, of course) newspaper in the Midwest. There’s nothing mythical about the bias for the left — it is pervasive. Obama has a hold on them, but moreso, they simply agree with the far left agenda. What might — but probably wouldn’t — surprise you is that media people generally are not all that smart. They think their ability to be clever with words and to manipulate with words makes them smart, but to me, they are no more intelligent than most people. That does make them vulnerable to the Obama “aura” that they themselves created. They work to please each other, and are so out of touch with most everyone who does not share their profeession. There are some nice, conscientious people. But, there are so many who beame “journalists” so they could help “make the world better.” They are so self-absorbed that they don’t understand their “better world” and the means it would take to get there may be very disagreeable to most other people.

I’ll be in the minority here, but I sincerely do believe that Morris is writing here what he has come to feel over the course of maybe just the last few hours. Maybe he has heard some internal polling numbers — I don’t know. He probably still has connections to democrats in the know. I also feel his earlier stated concern is because he does want Romney to win, and simply gets nervous about it. And, he realizes motivation out of concern is a powerful factor. Maybe it will turn out that Obama’s Katrina occurred three days too soon for him to benefit.

It was also predictable this would happen, and why for months, I’ve been asking people to say that the main reason the unemployment rate had gone down was that the millions (now nine million, I think) of people who have given up looking for jobs while Obama has been president are no longer counted in the labor force, no longer counted as unemployed, even though they don’t have a job.

Regardless, our side, especially the politicians and the media on our side, never complete an argument, and it’s jeopardizing the future of our country. WHY do we continue to refer to “8 percent” unemployment, when that number has gone down only because 9 million people have given up looking for work with Obama as president, and thus they are no longer considered “unemployed” and no longer included in the “unemployment” number. Why can’t we add 30 words or so — it would take just a few seconds — and say that “unemployment stands at 8.1 percent, but that number has dropped only because when people give up looking for a job — as 9 million have with Obama as president — they are no longer counted as unemployed. Unemployment counting the people who have given up is 11.4 percent.” PLEASE respond in discussions in some similar way and PLEASE encourage our politicians and our media friends to hammer on this fact. PLEASE. Again, unemployment counting the people who have given up is 11.4 percent. And that doesn’t count the people who work part-time but want to work full-time. PLEASE complete the argument. We neeed to make sure that people know this is the guy who has taken over the “health care” for our children and grandchildren — what a monster he is: http://www.jillstanek.com/2008/02/links-to-barack-obamas-votes-on-illinois-born-alive-infant-protection-act/

I have to believe it’s a greater majority against the bill. Meanwhile, I’m very frustrated with conservatives who mention only the bad financial effects of this abominable bill. PLEASE ALSO EMPHASIZE THAT ONCE FULLY IN PLACE IN 2014 — CONVENIENTLY AFTER THE ELECTION — THE ACTUAL HEALTH CARE ITSELF, IN TREATMENT, ACCESS, ETC., WILL BE WORSE THAN EVER, WITH RATIONING, MONTHS-ON-END WAITS, DENIAL OF CARE, ETC.!! PLEASE!!

I meant to add that God will not be mocked. We see some of His righteous vengeance. Without national repentance (including within our individual hearts, mine included), we will see more of his righteous and just vengeance. We don’t know when the most awesome display of His vengeance might be, for His timing is perfect, and beyond our reasoning. Nor, do we know how He will make this nation see that He is not mocked.

So much Biblical scripture — the last couple days, I’ve been looking closely at II Peter, Chapter 3 — serves as warning to we as individuals, and nations as a whole. This nation continues to shake its collective fist in God’s Face, and its being led by the liberal churches who twist scripture to meet abominable practices (the murder of the unborn, sodomy, etc.) they support, and by this wretched man in the White House and his allies (and I say this with humility and a repentant heart, knowing the sinner I am, saved from hell by Jesus’death on the cross for me, and given eternal life by His Resurrection from the dead).

The old media does everything to protect the communist president, of course. I get almost as frustrated by conservative commentators and politicians referring to unemployment as (now) 8.1 percent — when, of course, it’s only that “low” because of the millions that have given up looking for work. It’s amazing how many people think unemployment is actually going down based on that fraudulent number, and Obama is benefiting from it.

I’d be happy to pay more for gas if it helps this nation end its experiment with communism......And I hope against hope that conservatives quit referring to unemployment as 8.1 percent, without emphasizing that it’s dropped only because millions have given up looking for work.
