Just a general comment... It’s pretty amazing to me that people would not be aware of how a child contracts CONGENITAL Herpes Simplex. The name alone should indicate to people that this child was exposed in-utero or during birth.

Thanks for the extra information... The problem here remains that the school nurse, under direction from a superior was not just changing the girl's diaper. The allegation is that the nurse - by her own alleged admission - was removing all of the girl's clothing and inspecting every part of her body, not just the areas exposed when the diaper was being changed. You do not need to remove all of a child's clothing to change a diaper.

The second thing that jumps out at me here is that if this child was still in diapers, was she sent to the school nurse to change her diapers every time they needed to be changed? That seems pretty far-fetched to me... If the school nurse is not the one that regularly changes the girl's diapers then why was she sent to the nurse on a daily basis to begin with?

There seems to be a lot more left out of both articles, frankly.

Hmmm.... I call BS on the increase for an “average” family being $240 in 2014. We were notified that our premiums are going up $120 PER MONTH starting on Jan. 1st with no change in our insurance policy as my husband’s employer already made those necessary compliance changes last year. Over the last few years our premiums have gone up over 300% ALREADY (before this latest increase), and we went from NO deductible (technically a $1500 deductible which was paid for by our employer) to a $3000 deductible paid out of our pockets.

IOW - ALL of these estimated figures are woefully UNDERestimated, and don’t even reflect the truth of what has already happened to the “average family”.

The next time someone brings up how primates engage in “homosexuality” be sure to point out that there’s nothing “pleasant” for the male chimp that’s the object of the other’s “affections”... It’s RAPE and dominance - not pleasure that they are engaging in.

Another thing I’ve mentioned that seems to set them into a frenzy of cognitive dissonance is explaining that Chimpanzees also murder infants by bashing their skulls on rocks and such. Ask them if we should be OK with that behavior too, since after all, we’re only animals...

Here’s the scoop on the TRUTH from one of my daughters who has a friend in that community here...

Apparently, a bunch of people here in Wausau will still be walking — not even the LGBT community here in Wausau wanted ANYTHING to do with this guy as he lied about several things, and was PLANNING on causing a big stir ON PURPOSE. I support their right to march as it is the law, and freedom of speech and assembly and all, and I’m VERY glad the community here in Wausau told Mr. California to get the heck out! We do just fine here, and we do not NEED someone coming here from CA to tell us how “wrong” we all are.

Thank God. I was NOT looking forward to seeing how bad it was going to be. A decent parade - even if it was a pride parade - would have been no big deal here in town. We even have a gay bar downtown and no safety issues that I’m aware of - it’s a pretty accepting community. The problem came when he WANTED to make it “over the top” with drag shows, and only God knows what else... What plays in California does NOT play here in the Dairyland.

It’s absolutely ridiculous because you don’t even HAVE to be Catholic to attend a Catholic school! One of our fellow students was JEWISH, and I know there were some kids and families that I /never/ saw in Church on Sundays, either! Our teachers emphasized our equality to others as we were ALL God’s children no matter our backgrounds or faith, and didn’t encourage divisiveness - even to those outside the church. It wasn’t until going to public school that I saw that kind of divisive and damaging behavior among the students - divisive along every line you can think of; looks, money, clothes, cars, parents’ jobs, etc... etc... But then that’s what these politicians want. They don’t TRULY want peace, they strive for chaos because it gives them the foundation for seeking more power over us all.

I attended Catholic school. There was way more divisiveness encouraged and tolerated in the public schools I attended for Jr. High and HS than in the parochial school. This has absolutely nothing to do with “fixing” something broken, and everything to do with private schooling exposing the flaws in the public education system. It has everything to do with instituting absolute government oversight of our children - see Head Start for an example. They truly want our children from the cradle to the grave.

I’m curious as to what the autopsy they are supposed to do today will show. In another article (link below) it mentioned that when the body was found there were no apparent signs of injury. I wonder if he might have had an underlying physical ailment
(like a heart problem or something). Even just being dehydrated can cause delirium, paranoia, and can lead to a heart attack.

I just hope the coroner is able to provide answers for his wife, and for his baby who will someday want to know what happened...

I don’t know what the laws are like there in Sweden, but I would be contemplating some kind of lawsuit. Learning it all in 4 days (and likely not being able to pass), or accept a FAILING grade and come back in the fall? As if that won’t affect GPA’s across the board, and as if it wouldn’t affect the students’ abilities to get into the colleges they’ve likely already applied and been accepted to?

There is no excuse for this “oversight”. I also can’t believe they are truly punishing these students for what was an incredibly obscene “mistake” on the part of faculty. Especially as it was apparently noticed by students over a year previous.

I honestly can’t comprehend how they are going to make this OK for the students in any way. How many administrators are getting fired over this? IMO it should be ALL who were responsible.

I don’t know how much stock I would put in this report from Iranian-controlled press. The only other news outlets that are reporting this all come from the same source. It is likely absolutely pure propaganda straight from the mullahs in Iran. As such, I question why it is in “Breaking News”.

Also of note - this is the second time this news agency has reported King Abdullah as being “clinically dead”. Obviously the first time they were wrong, too.

There is no confirmation from any reputable (Non-Iranian) source that I can find.

Here are the only 3 links that come up on a Google News Search:

InSerbia - article filed 1 hour ago, based upon the Press TV report.

Perfect timing.. Just started watching that documentary show “America Unearthed”... Some fascinating stuff - nothing seems very well documented at least as they approach things for the show, but fascinating nonetheless.

I find the most compelling evidence of cultural exchanges to be some of the shared folklore/history of cultures far separated by time and geography. I think our ancestors did a lot more traveling than we think, much farther “abroad” than we’ve ever been led to believe, either...

Anyway, just thought it neat that you posted this today. We’ll see how good the rest of the show is - I do wish it was a little more solid the way the evidence is presented though. I don’t know how much goes on “off-camera” or behind the scenes, but it feels like it’s more of a “Believe it or Not” type series with no hard evidence that will really be able to prove anything one way or the other.

Has anyone else watched the series? And, what did you think about it if you did? It’s enjoyable to me regardless, so I’ll probably watch all the episodes anyway. :)

It’s hard for me to get over the fact that he didn’t lie about the WMD, but then because it was moved to Syria he couldn’t talk about it and instead let the left keep on with their taunting... And then to say later on that he had “made a mistake” - when no mistake on our part was made in re: to Iraq made it that much worse...

To this day I have to tell people - there WAS WMD - what we found (and we did find some!) was a drop in the bucket compared to what had been moved to Syria... Even now - when Obama’s own people say - these chemical weapons were from Iraq - they choose to ignore everything.

Bush didn’t lie, but because he didn’t defend himself (or maybe couldn’t for some reason) there won’t be any hope of getting some people back on the side of reality in re: to Iraq and Afghanistan - or even looking forward to what we’re dealing with today in our own country, or with Iran, and definitely not going to help them understand Libya, Egypt, and now Syria itself...

Sorry for the mini-rant... I have respect for George W, even though I disagreed with him on some things - especially domestically. Should add this is all obviously a chess game. Yes, Russia has helped Iran, and Syria, and North Korea. Yes, they are in a defense pact with the SCO (China, Russia, India, etc..). However, as far as the Chechen and related terrorists go I don’t know how closely linked their groups are with the powers at the top of the chain, so to speak, in these other countries, and the ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. I guess that remains to be seen... Russia is obviously many steps ahead, and Obama is stupid enough to think he can control the game...

That’s what’s so annoying about these liberals. They believe their trips so completely - that we are the bullies, and no-one can hurt us. Excuse me??? What Americans would EVER think Russia was behind the bombing in Boston? Where do these people get these ideas? As if 90% of the people in this country DON’T realize this was an act of Islamic Jihad/Terrorism??? Why in the world would we suspect RUSSIA the STATE of supporting these people when they are the ones fighting them daily?

Obama saying we would think Russia did it, that NY Times reporting saying most Americans had no clue where Chechnya was, or what was going on there... THEY are creating and enforcing the idea that we are all so incredibly stupid. I don’t think even Putin believes that. Granted, there is a huge contingent of the “useful idiots” - in every country, and here in America we are quite polarized on these issues, but I don’t think it’s anywhere near the truth to say that people haven’t heard of Chechnya, or that we’re all so paranoid of Russia that we immediately thought they were behind it all...

If Russia finds our weapons in the Caucuses or Baltics with these terrorists there we’re going to be in a bit of trouble, imo. Russia won’t sit back quietly while the US arms the rebels there... They might be semi-quiet in regard to Syria, but if those things make their way to Chechnya (for example), I think Putin will take a much different tone publicly against the US.

I don’t think it was just two little snot-nosed kids though. They were practiced... We’re talking about kids who spent some of their lives in Chechnya witnessing horrible brutality. I doubt they did not have “connections” in the jihadist world.

A 19-year-old is a man - albeit a young one. But, they aren’t little kids - especially coming from places like they have seen in their young lives.

I see now that there are questions as to whether she was actually in the front seat, or was on the floor under the dash. Still though, can’t believe no-one checked. I was thinking it was at night or something, but the pics the DIL took were in the daytime. Strange story, still... You’d think the officer would’ve checked, especially if it was in the daytime.

I’m still not sure what to think about this, really...

What makes it even worse is that it wasn’t just the Trooper who missed the fact that the woman was in the car, but the tow truck driver as well! And it’s not like she fell onto the floor under the dash - she was slumped over in the seat still!

Sometimes truth /is/ stranger than fiction. I never would’ve believed a scenario like this in a book, or movie...

Her poor family. That must be beyond devastating...

SO happy to hear our prayers worked. I’m now going to pray that the hospital follows up and this doctor is reprimanded in a very real way! (Hopefully with the witness testimony of the nurses they can at least get him removed from this hospital’s staff - and perhaps get him in front of a review committee at the state medical licensing board. There is no excuse for this type of behavior.)

First, I am so sorry you went through all of this. I can’t imagine, Mesta. However, I am truly impressed by your strength, and courage. Through all of this you continued to advocate for yourself, and have succeeded to get them to pay attention! May your hardships during this hospital stay save others who may not be able to fight back at all from harm. YOU ARE AWESOME!!!

My prayers continue for your recovery from all of this - including the traumatic interactions with this doctor and other staff. I praise God for sending His angels to protect you, and for His goodness in sending some of His ‘angels’ here on Earth to assist in advocating on your behalf.

I wish you a very Blessed Easter, indeed!

Just read the updates, and I’m praying. How horrific for her (and I imagine for you as well being on the phone, and not able to help)! This is quite concerning, especially with the heart failure, and now morphine? I can’t imagine...

Dear Lord, please hold Mesta in your loving embrace, and send your angels to protect her. Amen.

    Everyone working on behalf of Mesta is in my thoughts and prayers as well. {{hugs}}

Thank you for the ping, Lucy. I knew something was up with Mesta from seeing posts here and there on other threads. I had no idea what was going on though - how serious things were! I’ve only been able to stop by FR on occasion as of late.

I have prayed for her (as I said I knew something was wrong), but now my prayers join with everyone else’s with specific intentions... for her Healing, Strength, and Peace in God’s embrace; for the doctors and other medical staff for the wisdom to know how to help her best; and of course for Hardraade as well, what a wonderful friend you are to her.

My prayers and condolences go out to Dr. Raoul’s family, and of course, to his good FRiends here as well.

I just watched a speech of his over on YT, and the man was a terrific speaker with a wealth of information and knowledge at his fingertips.

May he Rest in Peace knowing that we will continue the good fight...

As usual they are completely ignoring the fact that the US citizenship laws for Hawaii in 1961 were DIFFERENT than for all the rest of the US at that time. It was overseen by the Supreme Court at that time, and the citizenship acts for the rest of the US - DID NOT APPLY during transition to statehood... I guess that’s too difficult for ABC to grasp though.

Also agree that there is much more that is wrong in their “report”.
