Liberals were desperately hoping that people were killed and maimed in the Boston bombings by militants from the Heritage Foundation.

They wanted that almost as badly as another Sandy Hook shooting spree, to get their gun bans through Congress.

So badly did libbies want right wingers blamed for the bombings, they were seen bowing five times a day toward Mecca -- the New York Times.

Armed with reams and reams of no evidence, Chris Matthews on Monday took to the airwaves to denounce the "right wing" for the bombings. As 'proof' that conservatives had planted two bombs near the finish line of Boston's Marathon, he pointed to a fire on Monday at the JFK Presidential Library. As Matthews brilliantly noted, John F. Kennedy was a prominent Democrat. But it later turned out the fire had nothing to do with what the barbarian, bastard Reaganites had perpetrated at the Marathon.

(It also turned out that Lee Harvey Oswald was a communist.)

Michael Moore responded to the bombings by noting that the bombings occurred on tax day, so the perps had to be conservatives demanding a lower capital gains rate. (After all, 2 + 2 = ? Just as 2 tons + 2 tons = Michael Moore's current weight?)

An outraged Obama responded to the bombings by holding a Rose Garden event about gun control. He whined that he's trying to be a strong leader but the NRA won't let him.

The New York Times responded to the bombings by publishing a moving tribute to the victims -- the two bombers. "Far From War-Torn Homeland, Trying to Fit In," read the title to the feature story about the two dear little lads.

Approximately 10.3 seconds after the bombings, Salon's David Sirota expressed hope that people were murdered at the Marathon by a white American bomber.

"Let's hope the Boston Marathon bomber is a white American," read the nuanced title of his piece. Informed that the bombers were just as he had dreamed -- white Americans! -- he was still disappointed that they weren't Knights of Columbus types -- but Muslims instead. He claimed his only concern was of a backlash by racist, intolerant, extremist Christian bigots against racist, intolerant, extremist Muslim bigots.

In fact, when it was shockingly discovered the bombers were Muslims, the Council on American Islamic Relations responded movingly by denouncing 'Islamophobia,' and demanding sympathy for Muslims.

The group's Chicago honcho urged Americans not to see a connection between the bombers' Islamic faith and their violence. Islam is peaceful -- draw a cartoon of Muhammad and you'll see!

Like Sirota, he expressed fears of a mythical backlash against Muslims. After each Muslim atrocity, we hear the same predictable blubbering nonsense -- about a backlash coming. After 9/11, watch for a backlash! Never happened. After Fort Hood, watch for a backlash! Never happened. After the underwear bomber, watch for a backlash! Never happened. Their predictions are as flawless as the local weather forecaster's.

And now the liberals' hoped-for backlash against Muslims after Boston isn't happening either.

Come to think of it, libbies have had an awful week:

-- They were hoping Texas District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife were murdered by the Aryan Brotherhood. Turns out the murderer was a former Texas justice of the peace. The accomplice was his wife.

-- Liberals were hoping to pass more gun control, secretly wishing for another Newtown massacre to push it through. A massacre did happen, but the weapons used were pressure cookers, not Glocks. Instead, their bill went down in flames. (As will the 800-page alien amnesty bill.) Now liberals howl that America's left with a scant 20,000 gun laws on the books, rather than 20,001, which would have done the trick!

-- Boston bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev died in a shoot-out with police.

-- The Kermit Gosnell murder trial went viral.

As for the 19-year-old Boston bomber, "Bombing Suspect In and Out of Consciousness," says the WSJ, which is more than you can say for liberals. As regards Islamic terror, libbies blissfully slipped out of consciousness decades ago and never drifted back. Even now, Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick says he hasn't a clue what might have motivated two Islamic psycho killers to kill. (Was it the Sequester? The expiration of the Bush tax cuts? Mad about Obamacare?)

Fearing a backlash against the little Muslim darlings, the Obama administration repeatedly ignored warnings about the Fort Hood shooter, the underwear bomber, the Times Square bomber, the Army recruiting station shooter in Little Rock, etc. The Russians urged the Obama administration a few years ago to vet the elder Boston bomber. The FBI says it did (after initially denying it), putting him through a thorough background check, culminating finally in a no-holds-barred sit-down interview, in which they asked the future bomber a series of key questions, such as, 'Would you be interested in a tenured professorship at Illinois U, at Chicago?'

By his repeated screw-ups, Obama has spent 5 years diligently working to rehabilitate the war on terror credentials of the Bush administration. Why quit now?

    Anyway, that's ...

Here in Florida, things are looking up for Romney. Polls have the Romney-Ryan ticket ahead by around 5 or more percentage points, with Obama stuck in the mid-40s. Romney's chances of winning Florida by a comfortable margin are so good, even Nate Silver pegs Obama's chances of winning here well below 1000%.

Romney's momentum in the Sunshine State makes me skeptical of the slew of national polls showing the race as too-close-to-call. Florida represents a pretty good cross section of the rest of the country. Especially since 1980, Florida has been the quintessential bellwether. The only exception was the weirdo 1992 election year, when Perot ate into H.W. Bush's base and got a fifth of the vote. Exceptions prove the rule.

I don't think the 2012 contest will be another exception. The only exception is the exceptionally good race Romney has run, not just here but across the country. In every sense, he's run a winner's campaign. Unlike Obama, he's done it without the use of Greek columns. The epic size of Romney's crowds and the uplifting tone he's set is driving the Obama camp into hysterics. Who knows, Obama might even accuse Romney of spreading cancer ... oh, wait. Already done.

But if you really want to drive the Obama camp bananas, this Tuesday vote Romney-Ryan!

On Friday, the Obama administration claimed it cut the unemployment rate to 7.8%, and created 114,000 non-farm payroll jobs. Democrats attributed the miracle to their Friday prayers.

Liberals are breathlessly stunned, aghast and dismayed that anyone would question numbers from an administration that gave us an $800 billion "stimulus" that "saved or created" jobs in districts which didn't exist; that insists there's no inflation; that claimed Benghazi was caused by a movie trailer about a film that didn't exist.

As proof that no one would ever, ever cook the books at the Labor Department, the media spent all day Friday citing the words of Secretary Hilda Solis, a Democrat appointed by Obama who runs the Labor Department. That should settle the matter.

Solis hysterically denied her department cooked the books for purely political reasons, insisting the household survey showed 873,000 jobs suddenly appeared last month in a stagnant economy. Stagnant economies have a knack for doing this -- creating almost a million jobs just before an election.

Appearing on CNBC, Solis simultaneously claimed she felt insulted by accusations that her numbers were cooked while insisting she had no hand in the work product. She said "we have top, top economists that work at the BLS. They've been doing these calculations."

These are the top, top economists who, every week, mysteriously underestimate the number of first-time jobless claims, allowing these top, top economists to make it look like the current week's jobless claims are an improvement from the prior week's. These top, top economists routinely miss estimates -- you can trust them.

The Labor Department's top, top economists estimated that in July their household survey showed the economy lost 195,000 jobs, then lost another 119,000 jobs in August, but magically created 873,000 jobs in September (most of them recruited to help Obama prepare for the next debate). Just two weeks ago, BLS's top, top economists claimed they found another 450,000 jobs than previously estimated in the last year. Hence, this allows these top, top economists to produce the current 7.8% jobless rate, which just so happens to match the unemployment rate when Obama was sworn in. Another coincidence.

But move along, you conspiracy junkies, nothing to see here ...

    Anyway, that's

Let's see what Gallup's tracking poll is showing. It's September 10, and so far Gallup is showing a small lead for Obama, ranging from 7 points (49% to 42%) on one day, stretching to 10 points (51% to 41%) only days later. Oh, wait! That's the Gore v Bush, not Obama v Romney, contest. Sorry, my mistake. Hmmm, how did Gore ultimately make out back in 2000? I'd have to check and see, given the stunning predictive power of these September polls, dontchaknow.

So what's Gallup showing currently? Obama leading, 49% to 44%, as of Sunday (yesterday). That's after a tsunami of ritual-style adulation and homage in the media over Bill Clinton giving a speech. (Clinton even got bonus points for not raping anyone throughout the convention, especially with Hillary thousands of miles away.)

What Gallup and other pollsters aren't fully factoring in is the dismal Friday jobs report, indicating as many as 368,000 people dropping out of the work force (technically known as 'joining the Democrat Party').

Obama says the reason for the lousy job market is because Bush's still running the economy from Crawford, Texas. As Obama would put it, this jobless recovery is stamped with three proud words, Made in the U.S.A by the Bush Junta.

Don't know about you, but every poll I've seen shows the economy as the numero uno issue on voters' minds. As Joe Biden would say, everything boils down to a 3-letter word, jobs.

And there's nothing indicating the economy will magically be turning around in the next 50 days or so. So, since Obama's post-convention poll boomlet was the result of Clinton's speech, the media are now telling us Clinton's speech was the 2012 campaign's 'inflection point', that the election this November no longer boils down to jobs and the economy but will ultimately come down to Clinton's speech-making skills. Oh really? Ask yourself, what are the odds that on Election Day the economy won't be the top issue on voters' minds, but rather some speech Clinton gave in the summer? I like R/R's chances.

    Anyway, that's ...

For his tireless efforts in rallying and energizing the GOP base and motivating every last Republican to turn out for Gov. Scott Walker today, I would like to thank Bill Clinton for endorsing Tom Barrett!

But even after Clinton's endorsement of Barrett, most of the polls still showed a 'tight' race (a 'tight' race is when the GOP candidate is clearly ahead) and the contest was considered a 'toss up,' but the tipping point in Walker's favor was the moment Obama endorsed Barrett. It sealed the deal and helped Walker become the only Governor in American history to beat back a recall vote! So I'd also like to warmly thank Obama.

Pulling out all the stops on Barrett's behalf, Obama bravely took to Twitter. Waiting until the very eve of the election, Obama offered his full-throated endorsement by tweeting, "I'm standing by Tom Barrett."

Wisconsin Democrats complained bitterly that Obama could have done more, such as stopping by during fundraising trips last Friday to neighboring Illinois and Minnesota. But Wisconsin Democrats have themselves to blame. They could've come up with some creative way to lure Obama, such as a fundraising dinner with cooked Dalmatian on the menu.

Seeking to gently persuade voters to turn out to vote (or else), a union-backed group calling itself the "Greater Wisconsin Political Fund" mailed out flyers containing the names, voting records and addresses of the recipient's neighbors. The thinly-veiled threat from these darling little unionists being, 'Better vote this time or your neighbors will know.' Liberals wholeheartedly embrace these tactics but the same libbie wingnuts get hysterical about laws requiring the registration of sex offenders.

Amid the barrage of 'too-close-to-call,' 'within-the-margin-of-error' stories in the media, perhaps the surest indication that Gov. Walker was going to pull this off was the very last, last, last, last minute revelation by the New York Times that polls showed Gov. Walker ahead.

With Gov. Walker's crushing 54%-46% victory tonight, Democrats haven't been this despondent since the capture of Saddam Hussein. With any luck, maybe Wisconsin Democrats might just flee to Illinois (something about that rings a bell).

Democrats were hoping at least to take out Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, but hilariously fell short there as well. Not that I'm gloating or anything (hahahahahahaha!).

Some Democrats wanted to blame racism for Walker's victory, but Barrett is white. (Maybe they'll find he's 1/32 Cherokee.)

After tonight, it appears that reports of the Tea Party movement's death are greatly exaggerated. If anything's dead, it's the government union parasites. The media expressed shock that voters don't support public unions getting benefits that they don't get. Somehow, taxpayer-funded free health care, free pensions and big-buck cost-of-living adjustments for government unions aren't popular with voters! Already, half of AFSCME's membership is gone in the absence of mandatory union dues. The taxpayer rebellion in Wisconsin was just the warm-up act. Taxpayer revolts will ultimately sweep the rest of the country.

Another thing that died tonight was the media's idiotic polls. "Exit polls show tight race in Wisconsin recall race." That's CNN, just before the polls closed. "Gov. Scott Walker narrowly avoided being recalled Tuesday evening ..." That's the Hill newspaper, just after the polls closed. Obama's campaign bragged that Obama was up by 11, per exit polls. But exit polls had the recall race too close to call. Rumor has it that a far more accurate EXIT POLL is coming in November, when Obama gets EXITED out of the White House.

    Anyway, that's ...
    My Two Cents...

For the month of May, the jobless rate jumped to 8.2%, a mediocre number of jobs were added, hourly earnings barely moved, hours worked fell, consumer confidence cratered. On Friday, the Dow gave back all its gains on the year. Welcome to another Summer of Recovery!

Acknowledging the grimness of the situation, Obama promptly blamed Bush. But he had an idea. He said a good way to restore the economy to robust health was for people to start "replacing some thingamajig for their furnace" in June. Another good way to fix the economy is to replace some thingamajig in the White House in November.

After blaming ATM machines, Japanese earthquakes, the Arab Spring and the Irish Spring for his lousy economy, Obama has zeroed in on the real underlying cause: Outdated furnace thingamajigs. But, cheer up, things could be worse! In a speech Friday, Obama congratulated his administration for having turned the economy around, from worse to bad.

Alan Krueger, Obama's head honcho at the Council of Economic Advisers, issued a statement recognizing the grimness of the situation and promptly blamed Bush. "Problems in the job market were long in the making and will not be solved overnight," he reassured Americans. He complained that "we are still fighting back from the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression," otherwise known as "Obamanomics."

Obama is also blaming his lousy economy on Europe, the same Europe that Obama wants America to emulate.

The media were stunned and shocked that the "economists" they rely on every month for routinely unreliable predictions got it wrong again. It was all so "unexpected."

"The unemployment rate unexpectedly increased ..." -- San Francisco Chronicle

"The jobless rate unexpectedly rose to 8.2 ..." -- BusinessWeek

"Employers [added] a less-than-expected 69,000 jobs in the month [of May] ..." -- Reuters

To paraphrase Rummy, if you're the media, there are expected expecteds; there are things we expect to expect. We also know there are expected unexpecteds; that is, we expect there are some things we don't expect. But there are also unexpected unexpecteds; that is, there are some things we don't expect to unexpect. And if you're confused by all this, congratulations! You are now an "expert"! The key is to perfect your skill at making erroneous predictions. "Expert" Mark Zandi, the architect of Obama's failed "Stimulus," has honed making unreliable predictions to a science. He expected 165,000 payroll jobs for May, the jobless rate to fall to 8% and major upward revisions for March and April. (Weaken your grasp of how things are and you, too, can be a Mark Zandi!)

With bad news on the economy surfacing daily, expect from Obama & Co ever wackier ideas. His lunatic followers think (a) the failed Stimulus failed because it wasn't costly enough, (b) interest rates are still too high (they want QE3) and (c) Obama deserves reelection. If consumer confidence is in the toilet, it's because Obama hasn't explained how awesome he is.

Obama himself is an epic failed experiment to see if a dimwitted ACORN Chicago community organizer lacking a business background could turn an economy around by fooling with Health care for the better part of his first two years in office and if depriving businesses of income would encourage hiring. After nearly four years of stultifying Obamanomics, the American economy has been turned into a giant no-fly zone for business. Had enough?

    Anyway, that's ...

Don't know about y'all, but I don't think we should gloat about our smashing, crushing, pulverizing and demolishing victory over the Democrats tonight, one of 'em (NY-9) a colossal upset!

Better to be magnanimous, stay above the fray, which is why I won't even mention the fact that Republican Bob Turner won in a district that elected Chuck Schumer, Geraldine Ferraro and Anthony Weiner.

Nor will you hear a peep out of me about the fact that Democrats were claiming this wasn't a "safe" seat anyway because a Republican held it as recently as 88 years ago. Sensing defeat, most Democrats fell back on their old habit of blaming the Jews.

This is a district that Obama won with 55 percent of the vote, a district in which Gore got 67 percent. This district is so heavily Democrat, it voted for John Kerry. In another plus for Democrats, the deceased are allowed to vote. But, like I said, nary a word about any of this from me.

Also, my lips are sealed -- tightly sealed -- about the fact that Turner, a political novice, won against a veteran Democrat politician, David Weprin, whose family is legendary in this district. Weprin got the backing of the entire Democrat establishment, and he still lost -- but will I even mention it? No.

Weprin tried to paint Turner as a hostage-taking Tea Partier who wants to destroy Medicare and Social Security and murder granny. It's part of the Democrats' winning strategy of appealing to moderates by portraying opponents as monstrous killers.

Also sensing defeat, the media hysterically tried to write off a loss here for Democrats as just a special case -- a district in which Obama is as popular as gonorrhea. But. A Siena poll released last Friday pegged Obama's approval rate in the district at 43 percent, which is about where Gallup pegs him nationally.

As for NV-2, more good news (which I refuse to mention). Republican Mark Amodei absolutely CRUSHED Kate Marshall. Will I mention that Marshall is state treasurer? And that this is Harry Reid's home state? No.

Democrats had high hopes here because Marshall is state treasurer and a late-August poll put Amodei ahead by only one percentage point, which I won't mention either since I'm not gloating. Nor am I going to point out that Marshall tried to paint Amodei as a hostage-taking Tea Partier who wants to destroy Medicare and Social Security and murder granny. (This positive message seems to resonate so well.)

Like Weprin, Marhshall got the backing of the entire Democrat establishment, with Harry Reid and Bill Clinton pushing for her, but I said I wouldn't gloat so I won't mention that either.

Oh, one more thing. Congratulations Bob Turner and Mark Amodei! Nice job trouncing the Democrats, heh, heh, heh! Oops ... wasn't gloating -- honest!

    Anyway, that's...
    My Two Cents...
