I have a question for anyone who might have been through this and what their experiences were? My wife had to go for a thyroid scan. On the insurers website they stated and still do that the company was an in network provider. They also stated that you have to call the company to confirm. I called the company and was told that they were in network( I did not note the name) The bill comes and they are out of network but the insurance company still has them as in network(website). I called the billing office to see if...

KNOW Sarah Palin, and so does my wife. Neither of us ever actually met the governor of Alaska, but we grew up with her - in the small-town America despised by the leftwing elite. One gal-pal classmate of my wife's has even traveled from New York's Finger Lakes to Alaska to hunt moose with her husband. (Got one, too.) And no, Ms. Streisand, she isn't a redneck missing half her teeth - she's a lawyer. The sneering elites and their mediacrat fellow travelers just don't get it: How on earth could anyone vote for someone who didn't attend an Ivy...

OBAMA CHAMPIONS “CULTURE OF DEATH” February 27, 2008 In last night’s debate between Senator Barack Obama and Senator Hillary Clinton, MSNBC moderator Tim Russert asked both presidential candidates whether there was “any word or vote that you’d like to take back” in your “careers in public service.” Senator Obama cited his role in a unanimous decision by the U.S. Senate regarding the Terry Schiavo case. He said it was “a mistake” for the Congress “to interject itself into that decision-making process of the families” to settle her fate. Catholic League president Bill Donohue addressed this issue today: “So now we...

June 4, 2007 LOOK WHO’S SUPPORTING OBAMA Yesterday, Senator Barack Obama became the first presidential contender to launch a religious outreach website, faith.barackobama.com. Commenting on it today is Catholic League president Bill Donohue: “On Sen. Obama’s new website, he lists the testimonials of three controversial clergymen: Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., senior pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago; Rev. J. Alfred Smith Sr., senior pastor of Allen Temple Baptist Church in Oakland, California; and Rev. Michael Pfleger, a Roman Catholic Chicago priest. “Rev. Wright was scheduled to give the invocation at the forum of Obama’s presidential announcement...

March 30, 2006 MICHAEL SAVAGE(S) CATHOLICISM Here is what radio talk-show host Michael Savage had to say on March 28 about the Catholic Church’s response to the immigration issue: It is a pig story! It’s animal farm all over again. And also make no bones about it, it’s the greedy Catholic Church that was behind it because the people of America walked away from the molesters’ dens and they need to bring in people from the Third World who are still gullible enough to sit there and listen to the molesters…the Roman Catholic Church was behind this, the Roman Catholic...

January 27, 2006 PELOSI DEFINES “PEOPLE OF FAITH” At the National Press Club yesterday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi commented on President Bush’s upcoming State of the Union address. In doing so, she touched on the subject of values and religion. Referring to Democrats, she said that the “best way…for us to speak to people of faith is in terms of the work we do; in terms of the budget, for example. The budget is a document that’s supposed to be a statement of our national values.” By “people of faith,” Pelosi meant people like the 114 protesters who were...

Howard and Hillary sing the same tune Howard Dean is all the rage. The loudmouth leader of the Democratic Party has set off fireworks with his nasty broadsides at Republicans. He's been so harsh that some in his own party want to muzzle him. Here's a taste of the tone: "Right now we have a White House and a majority in Congress who are systematically weakening the democratic traditions and institutions on which this nation was built. They are turning back the clock; they are tearing down the building blocks of democracy ... turning the clock back on the 20th...

October 7, 2004 JOHN KERRY “PRAYS WITH HIS FEET” There are three news articles today about the role of religion in the presidential campaign. Catholic League president William Donohue commented today on this subject: “Most observers, regardless of their political bent, agree that President George W. Bush seems at home with his Christianity. But for Senator John Kerry, the evidence suggests that religion is an enigma for him. “A search for ‘religious outreach’ in the Kerry/Edwards website yields interesting results. The first listing under that name has nothing to do with religion—it has to do with gay rights. But there...

GDP Revised Up in Second Quarter Wednesday, September 29, 2004 WASHINGTON — A slowdown in U.S. economic growth during the second quarter of the year was not as sharp as previously thought, the Commerce Department (search) reported on Wednesday, partly because businesses built up inventories at the strongest rate in four years. U.S. gross domestic product (search) — the measure of total output within the nation's borders — expanded at a revised 3.3 percent annual rate in the April-June second quarter. That was up from a 2.8 percent rate the government estimated a month ago but still the slowest rate...

'Fahrenheit 9/11" director Michael Moore - a virulent enemy of President Bush - has been hired by USA Today to write four opinion columns during the Republican Convention. Word is that party officials aren't happy that the pugnacious Moore - wearing the credentials of a legitimate journalist - will be the skunk at their garden party next week, traipsing around Madison Square Garden and maybe even causing trouble
