I don’t know what people expect from Paterson. As someone who works in NYC, he’s actively trying to get the New York State legislature to make cuts to the budget that have to be made.

It’s just like when they sidelined Carl McCall for NY Governor, a quite competent candidate for the Democrats who happened to be black, for fish eyes Cuomo or prostitute loving Spitzer.

Though I would have written this article from more of a father’s perspective, I share the sentiment.

My 11 year old Autistic son is a little chubby and very joyful so I refer to him often as a “Cherub”.

My wife and I, and his big sister, do make compromises but we also look for ways to enrich his life.

In a way, I’m sorry that Chris Christie became Governor of New Jersey at this time. He really does have to deal with the “inherited mess” from his predecessors and may get the blame for the coming collapse.

I remember this research when it first came out. I thought he was overreaching but earnest.

I don’t think the MMR and Autism is related (correlation is not causation) but I didn’t see the harm in continuing the research.

This is the first article I’ve read on him in a while. I don’t trust the media on this issue but this is pretty damning.

I read somewhere but have never been able to find it again, that it takes more energy to create a solar panel than that panel will ever produce over it’s lifetime. Also, like most wafer production, because the process creates a lot of polution, most panels are not made in the US.

Even with the cheap dollar, who else in the world could buy that much?

Plus we don’t make enough stuff. Financial instruments were our biggest recent exports. The only way we’re going to get that export market going again is if we raise interest rates.
