Great article--I doubt Obama really cares about improving the job market though.

I think that is becoming clearly obvious to even the misguided moderates and liberals who do love the country.

Great article stating the fact Obama has no job plan beyond his Tonka Truck Fetish. Article teaches Obama how to grow jobs and how this likely won't happen under Obama

In this book, Picco talks about the coming revolution in this country because of the instant gratification, entitlement society—debt is unattainable and there will be an economic breaking point not unlike the economic breaking point in the Soviet Union...and the fallout will lead us back to what the framers had in mind of limited government, self sufficiency etc..

Agreed! And watching FOX News is like watching Schoomer lie to my face all over again. Fox News, The new MSNBCBS PORNO station.. Unbelievable...They simply are reporting on how Americans voted. They haven't called the race yet..but they haven't and won't make a mistake calling this race. You know losing lets us discover how we get back to a competitive field. We got our butts handed to us and for good reason. Conservatives do not fight wars they don't intend to win. Conservatism says you fight wars with overpowering and devastating force...you secure borders so thugs don't get in and cause trouble...if you have to enact a draft because you don't have enough troops you do so even if it's politically inconvenient. If you are not willing to use devastating force and fight to win convincingly you stay out of the damn war. You also let the economy ride itself out...and you don't send your treasury secretary out 6 weeks before an election to say all hell is breaking loose and we need a trillion dollar takeover of a financial industry....There was solid proof that ever bank that failed was bought up by other healthy banks...no need to create the false sense of doomsday.....what a stupid move by Bush/Paulsen..thank you on both these fronts....this kind of stupid reactionary crap is what cost the election. So LOSING lets you get back to what you need to do. You don't convince people your way is the right way because the other guys way is socialism/marxism...you convince them your way is the right way because your way works...and the sitting president has been more liberal in the war with Iraq...and the economy than any democrat...you win this election by running against Bush...Bush fought in Iraq like a liberal...with an army of not enough men, troops and equipment....and he got government involvement in the economy which obviously the market couldn't stand.... Don't blame Fox News for reporting REALITY here....McCain is doomed and Obama cleaned his clock.

The country is less white than it was 40 years ago. It’s much more Hispanic and Black. This is a “teaching moment”....we have to teach the ideas of conservatism...that the American dream is not about government involvement and big government...But rather individual freedoms, choices and decisions....that YES anyone regardless of color can realize the American dream...and unlike any party...any movement..conservatism doesn’t see any color of skin...any ethnicity ...it sees Americans in each and every one of us.. If you can’t win over Hispanics and blacks with conservatism than conservatism is surely going to fail..because eventually we will be a large minority.

I do believe this election was a referendum on Bush...McCain takes the fall by agreeing with Bush more often than not...and Obama was the dream candidate for people who don’t know any better. He is whatever each individual voter wants him to be.

But remember this...tonight the 2008 brand new Lexus Obama pulls off the lot...shiny brand new with no blemishes..no scratches..no dents... We will get to know this new vehicle over the next 4 years and there will be MUCH more blemishes then than now. He depreciates the minute he leaves the lot....he leaves the lot when he reaches 270 EV’s.

Another point...I will predict that Florida, NC, Virginia, WV, Ohio, PA, IN, MO ALL will go to either Obama or McCain...there won’t be any splitting...SOMEONE is going to “run the table” tomorrow....it isn’t that hard to do...it’s simple...

Either Obama closed the deal or he didn’t. He won’t have a split decision in these battleground states. People don’t make a decision based on a campaign stop. Either he closed the deal or he didn’t. I happen to think he didn’t close the deal. This is not an election of 50 individual states....well it is...BUT each state see’s the same campaign by and large. IF Obama convinced voters he is a safe bet he will win all those states...If he didn’t he won’t win any of them.....that is my prediction...Whoever wins will get more than 312 EV’s.

The fundamental question is this—which Obama will people choose? The man they hope he is—or the man they know he is?

For many—”the one” is whatever they want him to be. If they want him to be conservative that is what he is to them...if they want him to be radically left that is what he is to them...He is an empty slate and that is weirdly comforting to many voters—he can be whatever those voters want him to be.

But for others...he is what he is—he’s a extreme leftist...a socialist YES in the form of Lenin....If people went and found the news themselves and vote reality rather than idealism (not ideology) then I feel it’s a great night for McCain...if they vote for the man they hope Obama is....it will be an early night and disappointing night for us.

However, I have faith in Americans...I have faith they’ve figured out they have to find the news for themselves independent of mainstream media. I have faith that a strong majority do NOT want their utility bills “necessarily” skyrocketing. I have faith most don’t see coal as evil. The real indication early is how Indiana breaks...how Virginia, West Virgina, Ohio and Pennsylvania breaks....I believe we win all of these states and also Florida...IF we win these states then I think it’s safe to assume the rest of the nation follows and McCain wins a “comfortable” electoral college victory.

If however people collectively voted for this mystery because he was everything they “think” he will be...then it’s over....

And so too might be the country as we knew it...

But I have faith in my fellow Americans...I have faith in you Freepers....I have faith God will show us the right way and we will vote that way...

FCC can’t control what you purchase. You purchase the rights to listen to satellite programs (or internet programs for that matter)....The Fairness Doctrine applies to land based radio frequency broadcasts (free) over public airways...

Satellite radio is not public...it’s private..you have to pay for it...and if you want to pay for Rush there’s nothing they can do.

  • Fairness Doctrine Stirs Angst Among the Right

    Illinois Rep to BAW

They won’t shut up Rush and others...they will move to satellite, internet etc....

But really...how could you get a president and overwhelming majority of congress from the Democrat party if talk radio was so “dangerous” to the left? Seems the left is doing pretty dang well if this happens....

I remember seeing a KKK member on a Phil Donahue show once a LONG time ago. Donahue said something about many people called in to complain how could he have such a hateful person on....Donahue answered that he believes even the KKK has a right to speak...when they do—normal Americans will be so turned off to them it does the KKK’s cause worse harm by hearing them.

If Rush is so bad they should WANT him to talk out about them....because it would make him so much worse in the eyes of normal people....

Truth is Rush is right and they know he is right and the left is the biggest scam operation since the Nigerian internet thing....they know it resonates with the people..that scares them even with a majority in congress and executive branch.

What a sorry @ss article. Whatever happens....a McCain victory or God forbid an Obama win...the free and secret election is what makes our country great. To say “it shouldn’t have happened” is a slap in the face to all who voted for it to happen. I pray to God McCain wins...but I will NOT will NOT discredit all the legal votes that puts the winner over the top. If their are challenges of illegal votes that is one thing—that all will get worked out (or should) but if one candidate has a clear win...then we move on—the people would have spoken and what’s done is done and we transfer power from Bush to whomever in a peaceful manner.

If Obama loses it will be because of 1. McCain’s pick of Palin....2. The Joe the Plumber moment...3. The 2001 radio interview in which he ripped the U.S. constitution...I believe there is a “righteous wind” at his back...blowing him towards defeat....and the amazing thing is the media could have helped him had they investigated him thoroughly and openly so the public could see how he answered the charges against him.

    McCain 51.3%
    Obama 47.9%
