Earlier this week while channel surfing, I came across the end of an interview with Paul McCartney who turns 65 this year. He is promoting his new CD "Memory Almost Full". The last statement from the host was, "Is this going to be a revolution in music?" I'm thinking Rubber Soul, Sgt. Peppers and the White Album. Maybe Paul put it all together again? Yesterday I was in a book store and saw a stand filled with the new CD, right next the coffee table photo books discounted 80%. That should have been my first clue. In fact, Paul's CD...

Today I thought of the following pledge as my commitment to helping the environment: "I pledge to have a smaller actual carbon footprint than Al Gore." Maybe it is too subtle for the global warming alarmists to understand though.

If the current immigration bill passes, or anything like it, we will no longer have "Illegal Aliens". Rather, they will simply become "Unprocessed Immigrants". Forgiving a Federal offense is amnesty, period. The government can say, "Oh but they have to come forward, pay a fine, get in line, yada, yada, yada. What percentage of 12 million illegal aliens can afford to pay $5,000? Not many, all the others will simply be citizens in waiting, or unprocessed immigrants. It is a sad time for real Americans. Betrayed by our own government, again.

Based on the weather forcasts (of course using all the latest and most sophisticated computer models) last night the weather folks were saying there should be 4-6 inches of snow last night and another 4-6 inches by 6pm today in Boulder, Colorado. 120 flights scheduled for today were cancelled yesterday out of Denver International Airport in fear of the consequences of the snowstorm. This morning we woke up to zero snow. And we are supposed to trust these weather folks when it comes to global climates? Are we supposed to trust these scientists who want to adjust the chemical content...

I'm for gay marriage because then 50% of those relationships will end up in divorce...

I have a simple observation and most everyone on this forum will probably say "duh". Nevertheless, I think it is worth mentioning: When Bush is NOT standing up for conservative values and principles, his poll numbers go DOWN. When he takes a conservative position, doesn't compromise and follows through in spite of the liberal slander, his poll numbers go UP. Proves the American majority is conservative and greatly preferrs a Reaganesque President over a wimpy moderate. It also answers this question with a resounding NO, "Can't we all just get along?"

Yesterday I heard Bush 41 talking about the verbal attacks on Bush 43. The one thing that stuck with me was "he doesn't complain about it". Then I have see two commercials for the "Commander in Chief". In one Geena Davis whines "I can't even trust the back-stabbers" and in the second one, "I work in the corner office and I still get cornered". Other than the fact that the script is pathetic, it illustrates the "nothing is fair to me" attitude that permeates the liberal mind.

I was reading an article about Lance's 7th Tour de France victory and realized that he is so famous that if this question was asked, I suspect the majority of people would say "Lance Armstrong". What person do you think of when I say "Yellow". Who else owns a primary color today? Yellow jersey and $85M to cancer research and care of patients in the form of yellow bracelets. Tomorrow I present this photo I took at the Korean War Memorial to the Longmont Colorado VFW. Just wanted to share it will you folks. The memorial is very emotional. The men are about 7 feet tall and the whole atmosphere is haunting.

On Fox News Saturday, Lanny Davis said "The real problem with Bush's court nominees is that they are way out of the mainstream." I wish I was there because I would have asked him, "Lanny, what is your idea of mainstream? Are the judges in the 9th Circuit mainstream?" I am sure he would have avoided answering. Then I would have said, "Mainstream? Let's see, the House and Senate as well as the President are Republican as elected by the populace. After reading some of Mark Levin's book "Men In Black" especially chapter 2 where he discusses Judicial Review I have come up with a question. It is accepted that if legislation is "repugnant" to the Constitution, then that legislation should not become the law of the land. Justice Marshall adopted the position that it is the Supreme Court who decides what legislation is not Constitutional. This is Judicial Review and has become the basis for Judicial Activitism where judges decide the law either by creating it or by dismissing legislative acts on the grounds that it is unconstitutional. The democrats are moaning as usual about Iraq. "The elections were good, but we need a plan". Of course it was the same negative pontificators who said the elections would never happen, that the insurgents would prevent them, it's a quagmire, and that Bush doesn't have a plan". Just sickens me! What the democrats really mean is: We lost, we continue to lose and the only thing we can do is condemn Bush's success. Great plan! Keep it up and you will continue to lose.

I am frankly very tired of hearing liberals modify the defintion of torture. So much so that I have come up with a question that will demonstrate exactly where these people stand: "Is it torture to humiliate a prisoner?"
