We had been working on filing for 501(c)(4) tax exempt status, but have not been able to find a way to continue with our political activism while remaining eligible within the IRS regulations regarding 501C tax exempt organizations. Therefore, until the IRS can assure us that they will not place restrictions on our political activities, we have placed this application on the back burner. If the IRS restrictions on political activities of tax exempt conservative organizations are eased under President Bush we will reconsider.
