Basically,the gist of your convoluted post is that you think you know something about Judaism because you had Jewish friends. If they were attending your (public)school, they were not observant Jews. And therefore they were almost certainly not well educated in Jewish law and tradition. So your supposed knowledge about Judaism is from highly questionable sources from the get-go.

Once you introduce the teachings of JC into the mix, bingo! It's no longer Judaism. It's something that has some Jewish elements mixed in, but it would not pass any smell test that it's Judaism of any ilk. You cannot believe and worship JC and still say you are following Jewish practices. The 2 are incompatible.

A lot, if not most of “Messianic Jews” are NOT Jews. They are gentiles. That is a cult designed to ensnare uneducated Jewish souls. They put enough Jewish-LIKE stuff in their “services” to fool the unschooled, but they basically make it up as they go along. It is a complete travesty that these charlatans even touch a sefer Torah or utter any Jewish prayers. Their prayerbook is called by the Jewish designation, a siddur, but the resemblance to authenticity ends there. There are numerous references to JC in it and to the New Testament, both of which are completely not a part of authentic Judaism. The “rabbi” to which you refer is a complete fake without authentic Jewish ordination and any “Jewish” clothing they wear is simply part of the entrapment costume. It doesn’t take more than a few phrases to completely blow them out of the water as the fakes that they are. So basically, they are a cult with the express design of convincing Jews who were not fortunate enough to have a Jewish education that theirs is authentic Judaism. Kind of like trying to sell Naugahyde as leather. I make no apologies for tellin’ it like it is. I’ve seen these Messyantics in action and they are truly detestable. Anyone who thinks that deliberate misleading of uneducated Jews for the purpose of conversion is a good idea, go pound sand.

We have payroll deductions paying into that pension. The NYC school system under Bloombutt spends hundreds of millions of dollars on no-bid contracts, useless computer software, Australian education consultants (I kid you not! They are hired to tell NYC teachers how to teach NYC kids), technology that obsoletes in a couple years or is vulnerable to kids destroying it, nepotism jobs for relatives, in-school nurseries for the bastards birthed by students, ESL and bilingual classes for the illegal immigrants (mostly from Hispanic countries and virtually all seem destined, by virtue of the effort they put forth toward academics, for car wash or similar level jobs—if they only put as much effort into their studies as they do grabbing each other, even in class, they’d be top students.) condoms (apparently used for water balloons), etc. You can’t say that the teachers, without which you have no system, don’t deserve the pensions that THEY pay into all those years, or that their pensions drain the system. At least the teachers have a use, unlike the aforementioned crap.

Oh shut the hell up, you moron. If you put in 30 years of hard work, you deserve your pension. That’s not the reason for this school’s condition. It certainly smacks of someone lining their pocket instead of having the corrective work needed done, and/or using padded invoices wtih corrupt contractors. Has nothing to do with unions, just dishonest humans. They don’t have to be in a union to be dishonest.

First I was utterly disgusted by the little whores who lust after this murderer with their fan clubs and Facebook pages. Now we have supposedly more mature nurses with the same problem? NYC used to have vocational-ed high schools training people for the trades. Then the libs came by and noticed that a large percentage of the kids in these schools were minorities. Oh, can't have that! They must be TRACKING those kids into what they considered lower-echelon careers. EVERYONE must go to college or you're a bigot!

So now you have academic classes full of kids acting out because they have no interest in the subject. I've personally seen those same kids, with a hammer or wrench in their hand, make a miraculous transformation into a mensch. I saw this when a horticultural club needed some raised beds built for the plants. The "bad" kids took charge of the building and were productive and happy. I've been saying for years, "Bring back the vocational schools, we need plumbers and carpenters and electricians--they will earn more than us!" and been called a bigot or worse.

Why in the hell was this sack of infected pus out on parole? THAT is what really killed this lovely young lady. Liberal parole boards.

It is quite frightening to see Obama-contaminated front pages of newspapers, magazines, posters, etc. plastered ALL OVER the interior of classrooms when I visit mostly-black schools. One classroom went further, and had blatantly anti-Bush and anti-Republican cartoons and satires plastered along side the Obamacrap. I found that quite disturbing and disgusting. Of course, it was a black teacher's classroom. I am always sorely tempted to write "Socialist Liar Manchurian President" or something along those lines across this crap to wake up the poor brainwashed students. All they know how to do is tell you, when you ask them to be quiet, put away the cellphone, stop hitting the girl next to them, etc. is say, "You tellin' me this 'cos I black." They sure know their Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton! Not much about most of the Regents subjects, but they've got their lines down perfectly. This is so sad. They view any sort of "behave yourself" message as anti-black. Nope. That goes for everyone, folks. No one should be disturbing the class in such a manner.

Just look at the current list of how many have been indicted just in the last couple of weeks! Gillibrand alone is despicable because she personally railroaded through a bill last April authorizing the USDA to enter Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, a federal preserve, to kill every last Canada goose there. So the fuzzy wuzzy goslings my students loved were, a couple of months later, rounded up with their parents during the no-flying June/July molt period and gassed. 850 geese were murdered in a cruel way. Her justification was that Canada goose feathers were found in Sully Sullenberger’s bird strike, but DNA proved it was from a migrating goose, not the resident NYC geese. She is a typical liberal ignorant b__tch.

NYC is “it” for observant Jews. In my Queens neighborhood, I have access to umpteen synagogues of every flavor, several kosher pizza parlors, numerous other kosher restaurants (Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, Hungarian, Sephardic, Israeli, etc.), the P.O., the public library, hardware stores, clothing stores which sell modest clothing, pharmacies, optometrists, nail salons, you name it—all within walking distance. It’s just too bad that the politicians are so scummy. Kind of spoils the rest of the good parts.

When you cast your vote for the most conservative candidate and your neighbors vote in the liberal Dem trash, there isn't much you can do. When both your Senators are liberal garbage (Schumer & Gillibrand) and a decent Republican Congressman (Turner) was gerrymandered out of the district, you effectively have taxation without representation.

I was disgusted by a recent visit to a local high school, which had 3 posters on the wall opposite the elevator, no doubt the work of the Hispanic principal. One was a poster with a picture of Che Guevara with some quote of his, one was a poster telling the reader that "Columbus did not discover America--he INVADED America" and the third was some mushy homily about "we all share the earth together, blah, blah, blah."

I was disgusted to read the latest edition of the teachers' newspaper, telling us to vote for the endorsed candidates--every one of them had a "D" by their name. Thanks, UFT. You have provided me a valuable voting guide. All I have to do is vote for whoever's running against your endorsees.

Where you have a certifiable maniac for a mayor who is proud of NYC's status as a sanctuary city, is it any surprise that the City council could come up with allowing illegal criminals who have no respect for our laws to vote for politicians who make those laws? How sick is this?

I always get my annual “dose” of bald eagles when I go on the Connecticut Audubon’s “Eagle Boat” during our February break. They have a big heated houseboat-type boat with free coffee and tea, loaner binoculars (I bring my own), literature on how to recognize the age of the eagles years 1-4, and a naturalist with a portable PA system pointing out eagles and interesting/historical structures on shore as the boat goes up and down the Connecticut River. This year, unfortunately, I could not see my eagles because the weather was too bad for the boat to go out on the day I had to spend there :(

Canned meat by itself is not a balanced diet for dogs or cats. They need several supplements that humans may not need. For example, cat food MUST have taurine added or cats fed the deficient food can get heart disease. Besides, isn't canned meat for humans rather expensive?

I see ads on craigslist every single day asking people to adopt a dog or cat because the person can't afford it any more. If the pet is not adopted, it will go to the NYC Animal "Care" and Control, which is a certain death sentence. If the difference between that innocent and loving pet living and dying is pet food stamps that are not funded by taxpayer dollars, I'm all for the pet food stamps.

I visited Kfar Etzion last summer when I toured Israel. I heard the heinous gutwrenching tale of such bestiality of the Arabs murdering the settlers of Kfar Etzion, it was almost too horrible to believe. Just wondering. Does a shoe-sized IQ generally run in your family, or were you the victim of a bad genetic roll of the dice? I’d love to drop-kick ignorant and stupid you into a teacher’s workroom to briefly watch honest committed people exchanging teaching ideas, grading papers and writing lessons. The same people who are up late completing lessons or lab handouts for the kids to use the next day, and those labs often paid for by the same teacher out of their own pocket, never reimbursed. The same people who spot cases of child abuse and report them to the proper authorities, and who listen to teary stories of broken-hearted children to see if they can render help. Then a quick call to the custodian to sweep up what was left of you.

The good thing is, we KNOW that Kirk & Co. survive, since this movie features the young version of the basic crew and we know we've seen 'em as older people. I really didn't like Eric Bana's villain in the first JJAbrams Star Trek movie, although I really enjoyed the rest of the movie, e.g. Kirk's boyhood and Spock's origins. I could have lived quite nicely without the cameo appearance of Leonard Nimoy in that film as well. Dumb.

Pine, Quint, Cho et al are quite refreshing as younger versions of the crew and I look forward to seeing the Darkness Star Trek movie. We have a bargain matinee theater within walking distance. If I don't like the movie, the world won't end.

I really love it when I get notice that a certain student is not to be admitted to class because they lack certain vaccinations. These notices almost always come in the middle of the school year or even near the end—when everyone has been good and exposed to whatever pathogens little Bok Choy, Mohammed, or Bsddlekdlse brought from THEIR country.

I am not G-dless, nor do I believe in socialist entitlement or corruption. I have always tried to be a good moral example for my students. I never allowed immoral behavior in the classroom. There are plenty of teachers like that in NYC schools. They are by no means a minority. It is the corrupt POLITICIANS and ADMINISTRATORS currying favor with those politicians who debase the school system.

"Waiting for Superman" was a vicious piece of anti-teacher propaganda occupying the same ecological niche as "The Protocols of Zion". It was certainly not based in fact.

It's even worse after 12 nightmare years under Bloomberg. Because of his zeal to get rid of older more expensive (and TENURED) teachers, he had his administrator minions actively solicit and encourage students to write false accusations against their teachers. Great character development approach; appeal to the basest elements in their nature to project blame for their own lack of effort onto their teachers. Don't do homework, openly brag you don't study for tests, don't bother to turn in report or projects. Fail. Then write up Mr. Johnson, accuse him of touching you inappropriately (the language in their accusations is so obviously NOT their own and is just as obviously coached) so he gets reassigned to non-classroom duties, brought up on charges and possibly terminated.

Even if he is exonerated, NOTHING happens to the lying students and Mr. Johnson loses his position at the school, gets put into the Absentee Teacher Reserve. This group of now nearly 1500 teachers get weekly assignments at a different school each week, filling in for absent teachers. These are teachers who were falsely accused of stuff by students and teachers whose school was closed (mostly after having been deliberately starved of resources to ensure its failure).

Quite often (and completely against the contract), if there are no teachers absent, they are put to watching bathrooms in the hall or given cafeteria duty. They are severed from doing the thing they love, they trained for, they dedicated many years perfecting on the word of a lying or multiple lying students.

And it's no coincidence that the vast majority of teachers in the Absent Teacher Reserve are over 50. This is how Bloomberg wants to get rid of expensive teachers who have tenure and replace them with newbies at half the price, rarely granting them tenure. I haven't heard of any over-50 teacher getting any teaching position they interview for. It's always a fresh-out-of-school newbie. And the newbies leave after 2-3 years and not getting tenure, and never acquire mastery. And Bloomberg won't have to pay pensions. That's his BUSINESS plan. Unfortunately, you are dealing with KIDS, not widgets.

Having been granted this kind of power over their teachers by this Nazi Bloomberg, you can just imagine the kind of brazen attitude now seen (and formerly rarely seen) in the majority of NYC students. "F___ you bitch, I gonna get you fired!" is what you frequently hear instead of the answer to the question you just asked.

What Leaning said. All true. The majority of kids in public schools that I see have no manners, no idea of how to study, no idea of discipline necessary to concentrate on excelling in their courses, and want instant gratification without any work necessary. And hey, they know their RIGHTS.

They disrupt classes where there ARE kids who want to learn. Far too much money has to be shunted into behavioral problem students who are a result of drug-ridden mothers or improper socialization.

My heart goes out to the sweet kids who just want a normal school experience and want to learn. They are harassed by the thugs and made to feel like kiss-ups.

You also have to love newly congested bridges and thoroughfares here in NYC thanks to his taking out a much-need lane for BIKE PATHS that NO ONE has ever been seen using.

I’ve noticed that most of the black students in NYC high schools that I’ve encountered have a hair-trigger mouth about their “rights”. You tell them, “Please remove your hat” or “You are not allowed to do ___”, immediately they spew, “It’s because I’m black!” out of their mouths. If you deny them anything at all or tell them about anything which restricts them from doing what they want, this is what you hear. They also believe that it is the teacher’s responsibility to supply them with paper and pens. They come to school without the basic tools with which to learn, they pay little to no attention to lessons, being too busy trying to sneak their cell phones out, they cut classes and wander the halls in herds, but they are the first to open their mouths about “their rights” when they predictably fail due to their own behaviors. I would say that their indoctrination comes from Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, et al.

I dunno, they seem to have no shortage of execution-deserving rapists. In addition to the heinous raping to death of the young woman on the bus, now they’ve caught a “man” repeatedly raping a 5 year old girl. What the hell is WRONG with Indian “men”? Anyone caught doing stuff like this SHOULD be hanged, in public, without delay. Maybe they’d think twice before raping an innocent.

I am so sorry for you and your baby boy. He is a real beauty, and no doubt has supplied you with love, comedic antics and smiles for all the time he's been your kitty. And in turn, he has certainly had the security of knowing he was well loved, safe, and valued.

I wish for his full recovery from this dreadful condition. If G-d cannot grant that, then I wish for the remainder of his life to be painless and not a burden for him.
