Researchers at Nestle said they have found a new way to drastically cut sugar content in chocolate by up to 40%. Nestle told Bloomberg that the process involves altering the structure of the sugar. Exactly how this works remains strictly secret, the company is still waiting to patent the process. But Nestle’s Chief Technology Officer, Stefan Catsicas, that essentially it creates “hollow” sugar crystals, which dissolve quickly in the mouth.

A onetime friend of Aaron Hernandez who claims the former NFL star shot him in the face in Florida filed a lawsuit Monday against CNN, alleging the network invaded his privacy when it aired images of him recovering from the gunshot wound in a West Palm Beach hospital. Lawyers for Alexander Bradley, filed the lawsuit in federal court in Connecticut.

Robin Lehner is wading into political waters with his latest goalie mask. The Buffalo Sabres goaltender has added a 'Trump' sticker and a small photo of the president-elect on a military-themed mask for the team's Military Appreciation Night on Friday. "Even though I'm not American, I appreciate what the military and all these guys do," Lehner said, per Jonah Javad of WGR. "I've got a little support for my man Trump here."

Florida International senior tight end Jonnu Smith will miss the remainder of the season after his girlfriend poured boiling water on him, causing burns to multiple parts of his body. According to the arrest affidavit, Smith, an NFL draft prospect, suffered severe burns on his head, neck, back, a shoulder and an arm. Mary Gaspar has been charged with felony aggravated battery. She is five months pregnant with their child.

Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy blasted US President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday in a nearly six-minute rant. Speaking to media before the Pistons' Wednesday night game against the Phoenix Suns, Van Gundy said he was stunned and "ashamed" of the US for electing Trump. "I don’t think anybody can deny this guy is openly and brazenly racist and misogynistic and ethnic-centric," Van Gundy said. "We have just thrown a good part of our population under the bus, and I have problems with thinking that this is where we are as a country."

Lefty celebrities from singer Barbra Streisand to Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston have repeatedly threatened they would renounce their U.S. citizenship and apply for status in Canada if GOP candidate Trump were elected president.

A "Kill Your Local Trump Supporter" graffiti was spray-painted in white letters 20 feet long on School of the Museum of Fine Arts property on St. Alphonsus Street. It's unclear when the graffiti first appeared on the side of a gray building in Mission Hill that houses studio and exhibition space for the school. The message faced the parking lot of an adjacent building, and was visible from a sidewalk. It was painted over late this morning.
