TOWN OF GREENBURGH - Town Supervisor Paul Feiner is suggesting to the Greenburgh river villages (Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Tarrytown) and to officials in the other Hudson River communities (Yonkers, Ossining, Sleepy Hollow, Croton, Briarcliff Manor, Cortlandt, Buchanan and Peekskill ) that they consider placing bicycle sharing racks near the Hudson River or at train stations in their communities. -snip- Feiner is a bicyclist and has cycled from Hartsdale to Washington DC in the past to promote federal initiatives to encourage safe cycling.

BRATTLEBORO — Brattleboro residents will vote at town meeting on whether President George Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney should be indicted and arrested for war crimes, perjury or obstruction of justice if they ever step foot in Vermont. The Brattleboro Select Board voted 3-2 Friday to put the controversial item on the Town Meeting Day warning. According to Town Clerk Annette Cappy, organizers of the Bush-Cheney issue gathered enough signatures, and it was up to the Select Board whether Brattleboro voters would consider the issue in March.
