  • Jim Cramer doesn’t see a recession on the horizon, says recent conjecture “just doesn’t hold up under close scrutiny”

    CNBC.com ^ | July 18, 2023 | Julie Coleman
CNBC’s Jim Cramer told investors on Tuesday that he doesn’t think all the buzz about a recession being just around the corner holds much weight. Looking at major earnings reports that have come out so far, Cramer said several players in key sectors — including homebuilding, banking, and travel and leisure — show that a recession might not be as inevitable as some may think. “Those who cling to the notion that we’re about to enter recession must find all of these examples daunting, if not depressing,” Cramer said. “But earnings season has shown the recession thesis just doesn’t hold...

The "help-wanted" sections of newspapers and job sites are overloaded with small businesses begging for employees. Every fast-food restaurant you enter has help-wanted signs. There is an obvious employee shortage going on all around the country. Serious question: What is causing this issue? Gas prices and inflation are through the roof, which would suggest that even dead-beats would be forced to get jobs. Is there some sort of secret COVID payments still going out? I'm at a loss.

I wanted to put out there my personal experience with China Virus and am interested in hearing your experiences. I definitely had COVID back in September/October 2021. I was sick for about two weeks, but did not go to the doctor. Basically, it felt like a mild, bizarre flu, with a fever that moved from my waist to my forehead. I made a full recovery (with the exception of my sense of taste and smell which is still a little screwed up) and actually worked every day while I was sick. Fast-forward to this past week, when I had 4...
  • A lawyer for an accused Oath Keeper Capitol rioter says the group's "quick reaction force" was actually just one guy.

One part of the Oath Keepers' plan, prosecutors said, citing text messages, was having a "QRF," or "quick reaction force," nearby that could supply firearms to militia members "if something goes to hell." But that "quick reaction force" was actually just one guy who "is in his late 60s, obese , and has cardiopulmonary issues, a bad back, a bum knee, and is [in] need of a hip replacement," according to a new court filing.

  • Ideas on how to retaliate against social media/corporations

We FREEPERS need to brain storm on how to retaliate/react against the Left and their obvious NAZI-like censorship of social media and their pressure campaign with corporations. Post your suggestions below. Here is my suggestion: OK, so the Left controls Silicon Valley and New York banks/corporations. The Right controls ENERGY. We should encourage oil, natural gas, heating oil, and other energy corporations and states (TX, OK, LA, etc.) to not sell their energy products to NY, CA, MA, VT, and NJ, etc. When their states get crippled with high energy prices, they will scream like babies.

I am travelling from Maryland to either CT or MA next week. When I tried to book a flight, an alert came up about China Virus travel restrictions. 1) Question: Are CT and MA questioning arriving passengers at their airports? Are they taking your information, etc.? 2) If you travel by car into CT, do they stop you? 3) How about Amtrak? Bottom line: I don't fear the China Virus, but I fear that I could get stuck in some leftist state b/c of their travel restrictions.

Per the Philadelphia Inquirer: Trump up 164K votes statewide. 763,000 mail votes left to be counted. Biden has won 77% of the mail ballots so far. If that number held, Biden would pick up net 175K. But... Other data from various sources: Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) mail ballots are all in. There are a small amount (don't know) of in-person ballots from a handful of precincts that need to be counted (Trump won in-person with 59% in that county) Philadelphia still has a good chunk of mail to be counted. Clarion Co. has only reported 27% of precincts reporting. Small county...

And we have an update on estimated # of Arizona early ballots left to be processed from some counties: Gila: ~2300 Graham: ~1100 Greenlee 652 La Paz: 880 Maricopa: At least 250k Pima: ~92k Pinal: ~62k Santa Cruz: ~3k Yavapai: ~10k Yuma: ~19k Total= Roughly 440K List of outstanding ballots to be counted in Arizona. Word is that there could be a substantial number of additional ballots outstanding, especially in Maricopa County. Trump closed the gap to 93K votes in the wee hours of the morning. Assuming the outstanding ballot count is 450K or above, Trump needs to carry them...

OK, so here's the deal folks. The call for Biden on Arizona may very well be REVERSED, which makes this a whole new ball game. If we get AZ, NC, PA, and GA, Trump wins. NC looks good. PA looks somewhat good. And now here's the update on GA. (Caveat: could be a handful more ballots other than those listed below). Trump leads by just over 100K. About 180K ballots out. Outstanding counties/ballots 7K Forsyth (very good for Trump) 70K Fulton (Atlanta--really bad) 52-54K DeKalb (Atlanta-really bad) 20K Houston (good) 15K Chatham (bad) 15K smattering of other counties. (neutral to...

Folks, FoxNews is doing the same **** they did 4 years ago. They haven't called Indiana for Pete's Sake. OK, Florida: 81% of the non-Panhandle is in and Trump is TIED. The other 19% is election day ballots, which will favor Trump. Trump will carry the Panhandle 2:1. We will win Florida. Also, urban vote is down ALL OVER the country. Do NOT believe these people.

Hmm, I wonder who this favors. There are currently 5 Florida counties that have reached 70% or higher voter turnout in early voting: Sumter(80%), Collier(77%), St. Johns(71%), Nassau(70%), and Martin(70%). Trump received roughly 65% of the vote in these counties in 2016. The next 3 highest turnout counties are also Trump counties, including Lee Co.(68%), which, along with Collier Co., is ground zero for Trump's Florida base. By contrast, the Democrats' Big 3, Palm Beach(61%), Broward(66%), and Miami-Dade(64%) are having mediocre turnout. Folks, if you compare the Democrats' Florida early vote pile to a deck of cards, it is a...

North Carolina State Board Elections | November 1, 2020 | bort
On the last day of early voting yesterday, Democrats managed to cast 1K more early votes than Republicans, ending the EV season with a 256K lead over the GOP. The black share of the vote broke a 5 day losing streak and slightly increased from 19.41% to 19.50%. But don't fret these results. Yesterday was the big "Souls to the Polls" day in NC and other states, whereas weekends have been low-turnout, softer turnout days for Rs. Interestingly, both Rs and Ds were out-voted yesterday by "unaffiliated" voters. Republicans did manage to cut 1/5 of a point from the Democrats...
  • Dave Wasserman must be a secret Trump supporter--his "Biden will win Texas" mantra is helping us (Vanity)

Dave Wasserman of the leftist Cook Report, has been suggesting for weeks that Texas will turn blue. In turn, Democrats have burned tens of millions of dollars on Texas senate and house races. His latest tweet boasts about the massive turnout in 10 large suburban counties in Texas, suggesting that a surge of Karens and their mask wearing, beta male husbands is swarming the suburban polls to get Trump! So I spent 5 minutes researching this suburban Texas revolt against Trump. I used TargetSmart (Dem. firm), which "models" voters as likely R or likely D. I also looked up the...

Republicans cut a net 15K votes yesterday from the Democrats' early vote lead, which has now fallen to 255K. Dems---1,633,774 (+77K) (37.60% of all early votes) Reps--1,378,537 (+92K) (31.72%) Unas--1,310,505 (+89K) (30.16%) Current Democrat lead is 255K (Dems held a 310K vote lead at the end of EV in 2016 and lost NC by 3.8 points). However, a higher % of EV has been cast this year because of China Virus fear, which means it would be nice for this 255K Democrat lead to drop more. Black share of the EV electorate fell for the 6th straight day from 19.55%...

Republicans continued cutting into the Democrats' early voting lead yesterday, despite a rain storm covering most of NC. Republicans chopped off just under 16K votes from the Democrat lead: Dems---1,556,483 (38.11%) (+62.5K votes yesterday) Reps---1,286,508 (31.50%) (+78K) Unas---1,220,771 (29.89%) (+74K) Black share of the early voting electorate dropped for the fifth straight day from 19.78% to 19.55%. Democrats overall lead dropped from 285K to 270K. As previously noted in earlier posts, Dems led 2016 early voting by 310K, and the black share of the vote was 21% that year. Please keep in mind that it rained all day yesterday in...

Folks, the Democrats have set themselves up for the biggest ***-whipping since 1988. Want some more evidence that the media polls are wrong? Check out New Mexico, where roughly half of all registered voters have already voted: 2020 NM early vote data from TargetSmart: Non-college whites: 41.5% of all early voters College-educated whites: 24.9% of all early voters. Non-white vote: 34.6% (vs. 66.4% white) 2016 comparison from NM exit polling per CNN: Non-college whites: 21% College-educated whites: 29% Non-white vote: 51% (vs. 49% white). Translation: Trump's base is turning out in huge numbers, and the leftist base of college-educated Millennials...

I just posted shocking numbers out of North Carolina that show that white voters, and particularly white, working-class voters, are way over-performing in early voting. http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3899468/posts Now check this out from Colorado and Virginia: Colorado-- In 2016, per exit polls conducted by CNN, white voters cast 78% of all votes in Colorado. Breaking this 78% white vote down: whites with a college degree cast 45% of the total votes in 2016, while non-college whites cast 33% of Colorado votes. In 2020, as of today, whites have cast 87%(!) of all the early votes. And this 87% broken down by education:...
