An Amarillo police officer was fired Monday night after investigators determined he had sexual contact with a woman who reported that the officer sexually assaulted her on Sunday, police said. On Monday, a woman reported the on-duty officer, later identified as Micah Meurer, had sexually assaulted her in her northwest Amarillo home.
