As House Speaker John Boehner continues refusing to approve a select committee to investigate the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, some are beginning to speculate the Ohio Republican has reasons of his own to suppress what really happened on Sept. 11, 2012. Over the weekend, former Democrat pollster Patrick Caddell and former Republican Congressman John LeBoutillier, co-hosts of the Fox News Channel’s “Political Insiders,” suggested Boehner may indeed be involved in a “cover-up.” “John Boehner [has] been purposefully suppressing anything on Benghazi because he knew what we found out this week, and he approved it,” Caddell speculated. “These CIA teams...

WASHINGTON — A White House official says Tom Donilon is resigning as President Barack Obama’s national security adviser and will be replaced by Susan Rice. Rice is currently the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. She has been harshly criticized by Republicans for her initial accounting of the attacks on a U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya, which later proved to be incorrect.

THE INVESTIGATION of the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, is beginning to look disturbingly familiar. After President Obama promised “justice” for the killing of Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans, FBI agents were dispatched to the country. But it was three weeks before they made their first visit to the site — which had been left unsecured. Libyan authorities have arrested several people, but it is not clear whether they had any role in the assault. Meanwhile, Libyan officials appear to be resisting direct U.S. involvement in the investigation.

Muslims are imposing their own authoritarian approach to politics when they blame America for this anti-Muslim movie that led to rioting and the murder of American Ambassador Christopher Stevens in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. The Muslim Brotherhood President of Egypt echoed that point of view when he spoke with President Obama and asked him to apologize for the movie on behalf of the United States. The simple fact is that our constitutional system is based on the principle of free speech, a conservative principle that is natural to human society. The Islamic nations hold the authoritarian and regressive position...
